No, no, no!!!! Rented a property from here with a 3 p.m. check in. Arrived at the condo around 3:40…read morep.m. to find that it was filthy! Dirty diapers in one bathroom and trash in the other bathroom. Crumbs, cheese and dirty utensils in the kitchen. Floors were filthy and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The front door does not latch, or close for that matter, so you have to use the deadbolt. Called the company and they did sent someone out to clean the condo but never got a follow up from the company. You would not have read this review it someone had just called to check in with us. They were the deal breaker in whether ocean city was in our vacation future. Back to Myrtle next year!!! .

The worst possible customer service. I don't know what it's like for the tenants, but as an owner I…read morecan attest to their gross incompetence and utter indifference. If you own a rental property, they will rent it to absolute savages who will destroy your property. Even if you come in as soon as the tenant leaves and see the damage with your own eyes, CB will refuse to hold back any security deposit. Oddly though lots of complaints here are from tenants who rented garbage units through CB and were docked security for clogging drains. Funny because I was told today that clogging brand new plumbing is "wear and tear." Maybe CB is just a giant scam on both ends. The owners get treated like garbage and so do the tenants. I've had either reckless tenants or terrible cleaning crews. But there is no recourse with the tenants when they damage your unit. And they will damage your unit. Vicki Burrs knows one answer to a problem--we don't care. That's her go to when lying doesn't work. But she'll lie too. If you're renting in OC, stay away from CB 118th street. If you own a rental unit stay away from CB Vacations 118th street. Go directly to Vacasa. Hopefully once the transition is over, Vacasa will fire the rude, incompetent staff and replace them with people who take pride in their work. They're a disgrace to the service industry. These agencies are holding on by a thread because AirB&B provides better service for renters and better property management for owners. Plus they cut out the lazy inept middle men. Stay way from Coldwell Banker. They're an embarrassment to themselves and an insult to everyone they deal with.

I understand that South Bethany beach is awesome because I've been renting houses here for years…read more The problem is the companies who manage the rental properties. They would make you think that the home owners of the properties they manage are terrible people that have no interest in maintaining their own homes. In just over two weeks of staying in the same house this summer they didn't repair a broken toilet, bring the appropriate light bulbs for the bathroom, offer any compensation for a bedroom that flooded twice during our trip rendering it unusable for days, replace an empty gas tank for the grill, or repair dangerous bunk beds in the unusable swamp room. There maintenance staff is a full blown clown show that doesn't have an effectively communicating manager. How do I know this? I know this because every time some comes to the house they don't know why they have been dispatched to the house. The bottom line is try and find a house rented by the owner directly so if you have a problem you can contact someone who cares, not resort quest who has a ton of properties and don't care if you ever rent from them again.

If you move your reservation to a later date- high season- you have to pay the rates instead of them just working with you. Many times in the case of a declaration of emergencies, rentals will move you to a later date without charging you extra. This organisation only cares about the bottom dollar.

We had to purchase a second car pass and that also was very easy to do. Our condo was very clean and decorated so nice! We had two bedrooms, one had two beds. Easy access to the beach and a pool were definitely major bonuses for us! There was a cute little convenient store, CJ's, that also served food. This was the second time I've stayed at the Quay and it does not disappoint! I recommend the Quay for your next Ocean City booking.

We were a bit nervous about our…read morestay after viewing some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at The Quay. As soon as you walk into #1501 you can feel the strong sense of pride in ownership of this unit. The owner is meticulous and organized and has gone above and beyond to make sure his/her visitors are comfortable. The until is not completely updated but has been well maintained over the years. The furnishings and decorations in the unit are ones I would have chosen and we loved the shutters in the bedrooms. The beds were also very comfortable! We felt very safe and comfortable in #1501 with our children. There are child locks on all the cabinets and step stools available as well. You can tell the owner has thought through everything. Everything is labeled and there are even pictures to show where everything goes. I hope that one day I can be this organized! The owner includes internet access and has all the info posted on a bulletin board in the unit. There is also a welcome packet and extra supplies of random things if you forgot something. The only issues we had with the unit (and why I took off one star) is the microwave is old and didn't work well. There were instructions posted on top since it is old, and I did follow them. The kitchen and bathrooms could use updating but are functional. The water wasn't heating up in the second bathroom so we just used the master but the drain cover was not attached so we had to be careful with the kids. As for the Quay directly, all the staff was very friendly and welcoming to myself and my family. We did not get to use all the facilities so I cannot speak to those. The view and location of The Quay is perfect and we had no issues with parking. Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Quay #1501 and would definitely return if the opportunity arises. Thanks for letting us use your lovely home!
