Yes we do disposable liners and toll for every customer. Our basic pedicure is $25, deluxe pedicure is $30, luxury pedicure is $40 and our special Ocean Retreat is $50. Thank you!

Does this place do the dip powder? If so, how much?

Yes, they do! But they only have a limited number of colors (like 15-20). I paid $40 before tip.

How much is an acrylic fill alone?

Hi Nicole. Acrylics with regular polish is $23 and with gel polish is $35

I called, and even though I didn't have an appointment, they were kind enough to squeeze me in, which I really appreciated. I went in on Friday, 7/17, around 2:00 PM. I want to start by mentioning the woman who did my pedicure. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but she was absolutely lovely,kind, gentle, and did a great job. She's the reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of fewer. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my manicure with Nina (although she told me her name was Kim, while her station said "Nina"). She was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning. She handled my hands very roughly, constantly grabbing and pulling them around. The turning point was when I politely asked if she was still planning to file my nails into the same square shape I came in with. My nails were visibly uneven and hadn't been shaped yet. She was about to apply the polish, so I simply asked if she was still going to shape them. Her response was, "I already did," and everything went downhill from there. I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years, since I was a teenager, so I know what a finished nail shape should look like. I normally go to the same salon in Mission Hills, San Diego, but because this was a last-minute invitation, I thought it would be quicker to find a place nearby. I wasn't rude or confrontational, I asked a legitimate question. It seemed like she took it personally or was offended, and her attitude became even worse afterward. It's unfortunate because the manager (I believe she was the one who answered the phone and fit me into the schedule) was very nice and accommodating, and my pedicure experience was great. Unfortunately, one employee can completely change the overall experience. If I'm ever in the area again, I would choose another salon, and I wouldn't recommend this one based on my experience with the manicure.

It was my first time visiting Ocean Retreat Nail Spa on my trip to San Diego. I visit SD pretty oftenly for work and family visitings. My cousin and I drove pass the salon and decided to come in check it out. And we were impressed from the very first minutes coming into the salon. It's neat from the outside to the inside. It's new and everything is super CLEAN. Plus they have plenty of choices for colours and designs. Helena did a great job taking care of me and I was totally pleased. The little beautiful nails art was a plus for her wonderful technique. The owner/manager looks young, enthusiastic and she's a great conversationalist. I can't say enough great things about this nail salon! I've been coming here for more than a year and every time I walk in, there's an extremely welcoming atmosphere. I love coming to this nail salon because it's a hidden gem that is so close to my work but... make your appointment ahead of time because they get BUSY and it's worth it! I REALLY want to love this place! Everyone is friendly, it's clean, and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, I've gotten my nails done twice by two different people, and both times, my nails have started lifting after a little over a week. I've never had this problem with my nails before and I've always been able go at least two weeks before needing a fill. I did love the pedicure I got here--no complaints about that! I'll probably stick to my old nail salon from here on out though since it's much more convenient to get my nails and pedicure done in one spot. read more

My friend brought me to Ocean Retreat on my birthday for a pedi, and to say I was very pleased is an understatement! (I only got one picture and unfortunately, it's a little blurry but it's attached.) Susan was also incredibly sweet and the price for the gel manicures was very reasonable. This will definitely be our go-to place for getting our nails down from now on.

I visited her new salon, My Nail Bestie and she is just as amazing as always! The salon is immaculate and has really nice, modern pedi chairs. She has excellent attention to detail, is masterful at shaping and takes the time up front to make sure she has the right products to make your vision come true, if you are looking for something specific or design work. I had this specific look in mind to match my gala dress, sent her pictures before my appointment and she took the time to discuss which things would work and what wouldn't. They came out perfect-I had people stop me at the event and take pictures of my nails! Her pricing was also very reasonable for the area. If you're looking for a salon 'home', you found it!
