It was terrible. I just wanted a refill for my diabetes medication and they all stood around laughing at my fat. I was so embarrassed. Very mean people here. Unless they decide they like you. Then they will only gossip about you behind your back. My 4 year old still has bad dreams about the "evil prescription lady" who made weird and scary faces at him. I would look elsewhere for your Rx needs. If you have an emergency and get stuck going here, don't mention any other pharmacy. She will go bonkers and might attack. You have been warned. I've been going to Ocean Shores Pharmacy for over a dozen years. Since they moved to their new building there is no place to sit while waiting in line. (Try standing for a very long time with a bad back). They said their part of this building is an entirely different entity and where you have to stand and wait and wait and wait is not part of their Pharmacy. I guess it is part of a National Trend----Make it easier for the seller but more difficult for the customer. Irregardless, try to call and talk to someone there. Good luck with that. I call and after over six minutes waiting their auto system hangs up. They are apparently way understaffed. Not my fault. They just need to give much better service. I'd go to a different pharmacy in a heart beat if it wasn't so far to drive. read more

I've been going here for years (like 5 or 6) but just changed pharmacies due to extremely poor customer service. Called to refill my meds a week ago. Called again Thursday, one needed to be reordered and they haven't heard from the doctors yet, while the other they told me was being filled. can in 3 days later to get the one that was ready. The new purple haired lady was really rude. She told me it wasn't made yet. I asked why. Yes I was probably viably annoying but I don't think I was rude. She flipped her screen around and looked at me. I don't work there. There was medication names with colors next to them. How am I suppose to know what the colors mean? I asked what am I looking at? She said the yellow means not filled yet. I asked why was I told it was being filled. She got a huge attitude then. I had to go. The pharmacist said he would fill it and give him 5 min. I was already running late and said I would be back. Then I got a super rude text blaming me because I don't have insurance at the moment. That I need to correct the insurance thing. My meds are like $35 without insurance. Since when is paying out of pocket not something we are allowed to do? And why not tell me it was an issue when I called? I'll be driving down to Aberdeen to get my meds from now on. This was so unacceptable. read more

I'd mirror many of the other reviews about OSP. The lady behind the pharmacy counter seems to enjoy watching people struggle. Be prepared to pronounce eszopiclone. No matter she has your name, address, birthdate, there are three people behind you, and she knows it's a generic name for Lunesta. The woman behind the sales counter seems oblivious to customers. We stood at the checkout counter for minutes while she stocked something behind the counter no more than three feet away from us. We finally had to say, "excuse us?". Lastly, as others have mentioned, the tchotchke part of the store is pretty cool. They have a lot of fun Ocean Shores/beachy-related items and some good designer chocolates. I wish you great luck with the non-existent service and be prepared to pronounce atorvastatin, even though it's just Lipitor. read more

They are the only pharmacy in town, so customer service is not a priority. The line to pick up a prescription is always long and slow moving. It is not unusual to wait 15 minutes or more standing in line. While waiting in line, there is no place to sit. Some older people (like me) cannot stand for long periods of time. I would suggest a number system so you can still be helped in turn without having to just stand there. Or, even better, open up your drive thru window!! I also understand that there is a room that is meant to be a waiting area that is not open. I hope the pharmacy improves this problem. read more

I have been going to OS Pharmacy for at least 5 years and it that time only once have they had my meds on time, This last time was the worst, now I admit I did not check to make sure all meds were for 9 days as I had requested, however I did on line do that, so one out of 6 meds was only a 30 day supply so I almost ran out when I realized what had happened. (I was luck I had built up a 3 week+ overstock on my part so when I did run out I got that med the day before. However they would not allow me to go back that few weeks to repellence my supply so in case of an emergency I could go for 3 weeks extra. I will be looking for a new Pharmacy in future. Too bad as they are right here in Ocean Shores Wa. I have never been to a Pharmacy in the last 25 years this poorly managed. read more

If I had a choice, I'd drive to another city for my prescriptions. This is not a "friendly" place. It has the attitude of "give me your money and get out of my face". I realize it's a tourist town, but the residents are treated the same. It could be that I just struck the wrong chord the dozens of times I've been there. This is a very unfriendly pharmacy. I live in Ocean Shores and use them to get my prescription refilled. I am a quiet and polite person, and when I have to go to the counter I dread being waited on by one young woman in particular who just glares and acts like you are imposing just by being there. She does not even know me outside of that. There is a friendly guy who sometimes works there but I always seem to get stuck with that snippy young woman. Now, they have made it difficult to even get prescriptions refilled. If you call the phone number, you can't reach a person anymore. They try to get you to punch in numbers instead in the automated system, but if you can't find your number or otherwise need to speak to them, you are out of luck. The best you can do is leave a message. They really need to improve their customer service bigtime, I give their pharmacy a big fat F. read more

The ladies are incompetent in performing the simplest task and won't own up to there mistakes instead they place blame on the "delivery trucks". The Ocean Shores Pharmacy is great! We moved here a few months ago and had some RX to be refilled, had no problem at all, greeted with a smile and welcomed to the city. In fact instead of driving into a Walmart to pickup RX, we decided to use our local Ocean Shores store and support our town. much faster here and don't have to drive all the way to Aberdeen. In fact every one in Ocean Shores wether it be a store, person on the street! Mail person! Food server, or as passing stranger are friendly and always smiling. Have not met a frown on a face yet ! I wish there was a way to give negative stars. I happened to be visiting and came in contact with this horrible pharmacy. I even witnessed them talking about other patients and "their free medicine," which I am guessing they are referring to Obamacare. Either way, not only was it unprofessional to discuss patients' medical information but close (if not dead on) to violation of HIPPA laws. What they should realize is that although that person may get free medication, it is processing that "free" medication that keeps them employed in that small time. read more

Terrible experience. I was short on a prescription and from out of town. I had my Dr back home call it in for me. A few hours later a made the one hour round trip to pick it up. When I got there they said it would be ready in 25-30 mins. I waited only to find out they don't keep that medication in stock and would have to special order it for next day delivery. I called the next day to make sure they ordered it. Took 5 different tries just to have someone pick up the call after ringing more times than I could count. I was placed on hold for 10 mins while they looked for the meds. No one ever picked up again. I called back again 3x after. No one ever answered. I am still w/o the meds. Full disclosure, I grew up in a pharmacy. My Dad was a pharmacist with his own drug store. This is not how an operation should be run. They're lucky they're the only game in town. read more

Friendly, fast ( as they can be, it's only them in this town ) & if they don't have what u need they will get it ordered in a timely fashion, have given enough meds to get by if there is a problem with a script ( if they know you & the Dr.) I have actually had a delivery after 6 when they close because it was on her way at home. Being a longtime resident has its perks too. They try to fix what they can within legal terms of course. I am incredibly frustrated with the staff at Ocean Shores Pharmacy. I recently moved to Ocean Shores and attempted to get my monthly prescriptions filled the OS Pharmacy. They are unable to fill one of my prescriptions because their supplier does not carry it. I have never encountered this response from any other pharmacy, so I was quite taken by surprise. I was also surprised they had the prescription request from my physician for two days and did not notify me of the issue and I found out by stopping by to confirm they received the prescription. While the situation is incredibly frustrating to me, their lack of empathy and indifference to my situation from two separate staff members, including the pharmacist, was annoying. Sorry...our supplier does not carry it... the end. Their website states "We are dedicated to providing a wide range of high quality services to meet ALL of your healthcare needs...we have you covered." NOT! Now I need to drive one hour round trip to get this prescription filled. read more

This place had high prices and bad service. I was waiting at the check out for a couple of minutes and yes one came to help me. I saw some one that worked there who was fixing things in the aisles and I know they saw me however they did not come to assist me. I eventually had to go to the pharmacy in the back. i am a resident in ocean shores. i used ocean shores pharmacy for many months and then decided to use another pharmacy in aberdeen...because when ever i called os pharmacy to refill in the 1 year i used them frequently i could never get thru on the phone system they use. i think in all reality they just dont answer the phone. recently when i decided to try them again i was told by the female pharmacist that i had transferred my meds to another pharmacy..so i could just go get them there..she was really rude..not even asking why i had done so..she didnt care....the one precs i was trying to fill had not been transferred to another pharmacy...i called that other pharmacy and they said it was still at the os pharmacy and it hadnt been transferred. i explained to her that it was not transferred and i also had in hand the original bottle..i was flat told to go elsewhere! very rude place to deal with..i plan to retire in oshores but will never ever do any sort of business with the ocean shores pharmacy ever again. i will make a trip to town for meds..at least im treated well elsewhere and respected. i am a woman who owns a successful business and has employees and i am appauled at how i was treated!
