I brought her here for what was supposed to be a routine cystotomy performed by Dr. Rice. Less than 24 hours after surgery, Jesse was not recovering normally, so we brought her back. Dr. Stewart examined her and attributed her condition to something unrelated to the surgery. We were reassured of that and sent home. I personally informed Dr. Rice that Jesse was not doing well and was getting worse. Despite being informed about his postoperative patient's condition, he did not personally examine or reassess her, nor did we see meaningful follow-up or urgency regarding her care. Jesse continued to deteriorate, and we returned again the following day. This time Dr McKinnon kept her for three hours while running diagnostics. We were then told that if we did not take her to the ER to get her antibiotics and IV fluids, she might not survive until the next morning. We were still told her condition was unrelated to the surgery. Yet during the approximately three hours my dog was kept at the clinic, neither IV fluids nor antibiotics were administered. In an already critical situation, those three hours were lost, and I will always wonder whether earlier treatment could have changed the outcome. We went to the ER immediately. Within approximately 30 minutes, the ER team identified complications related to her recent surgery. Tragically, it was too late. I spent the entire night at the ER trying to save my baby, but I lost her. Everything I have described is documented in the medical records from the clinic and the ER. I am writing this to warn other pet owners. All I experienced in this clinic was the lack of urgency, care, and accountability. Jesse deserved better. Our family deserved better.

He is kind, compassionate, and never makes you feel like money matters more than your pet. His priority is clearly the animal and their well-being. His kindness and warm smile immediately make both you and your pet feel comfortable. His diagnosis was excellent. My dog, Cyrus, felt better the very next day. Even though I should have brought him in earlier and didn't realize anything was wrong, Dr. AJ recognized the problem right away and treated him immediately. Because of him, my dog is alive today. I am incredibly thankful to Dr. AJ and his entire team. They are all friendly, caring, and truly amazing.

I rarely get any form of quotes or feedback on inquiries. Vets: Dr. Robbins - bright and friendly but I'm usually left with feeling like I got no security in information about my pet. Perhaps feels brushed off. Dr. Surman - My experience is that she cares a good deal about your pet but I feel heavily judged if I don't lean into every expensive suggestion towards the "wellbeing" of my pet. Aka, every test, every preventative, every measure to assess without question (even if no concern is present). I do believe this is meant well without being money grabbing but regardless, it's uncomfortable. Dr. Trinidad is insightful, attentive but also sharp; probably my preferred for this office overall because the information shared is direct, to the point and layman's enough for average pet parents. I have to maintain 2 stars overall though because it's very expensive, I leave feeling like I haven't come to the practice for 6 years. My pets are not remembered.

Also not a very open policy facility in terms of inquisition; you can expect gatekeeping the entire way through with their practice - it's a "Come spend a minimum of $100 bucks to get any question answered" kind of place. The fact that they only treat cats gives us so much peace of mind--they truly understand feline behavior and needs. Our most recent visit was for simple blood work, and they made it as stress‑free as possible. They had treats ready, handled our cat gently, and had us out the door in under 20 minutes. A few months ago, one of our cats needed a few teeth removed. Loudon Cat Care took amazing care of him, and the follow‑up call afterward really showed how much they care. The exam rooms are spacious, spotless, and have big windows so our kitty can bird‑watch while we wait. Parking is plentiful and free, which is always appreciated. They also provide boarding services, although we haven't boarded our cats here. We toured the facility and were impressed by how much room and comfort the boarded cats get. My experience with one of the veterinarians here was poor in treating my dog. She rushed through…read morecomplex test results, giving lengthy technical explanations without prioritizing key findings or ensuring I understood them, and offered no collaborative discussion to support decision-making. When I asked to see another veterinarian in the practice, I was refused, which destroyed my trust in the hospital. She ordered multiple tests without a clear working diagnosis, prescribed doxycycline without advising me to stop Rimadyl, and prescribed prednisone without disclosing significant potential side effects--resulting in negative health impacts for my dog. I later sought a second opinion at another practice. That veterinarian reviewed the same results, ruled out several conditions, and identified likely liver cancer--recommending only one additional diagnostic (CT scan of the abdomen) to confirm. In a single 30-minute discussion, that vet addressed all my concerns, answered every question with reference to the test results, and provided the information I needed to make an informed care decision. My dog is now off the unnecessary medications, comfortable, and on a focused care plan.
