This was my first time in a salt cave. My experience from beginning to end was wonderful starting from a call with the owner, to the receptionist, to the actual experience. Very sweet people. It's a small location in a shopping plaza off US19 and Alderman by ESPORTA and UPS. Upon walking in they have a room full of salt rock lamps with great prices, crystals and jewelry. So fun! I picked up a salt rock lamp for a Christmas gift for $25 and it's heavy! This way I'm guaranteed it's high quality and not plastic junk from China. Loved the waiting area. On to the salt cave. They have group rooms and smaller individual rooms. I chose to do the group room which was $10 less. Wednesdays are also $10 less for all rooms. I paid $25 for the group room on Wednesday The room is dark only being lit by salt rocks and fake stars on the ceiling. Calming music plays and you have blankets and gravity chairs to sit or lay in. The whole visit is 45 minutes. I have anxiety and claustrophobia and also get cold easy and none of this bothered me. In case anybody has those concerns. It could be a calming experience but I was in a room with two men chatting the whole time Lol When I left my lips tasted salty but I didn't notice any difference in my breathing which was my reason for going. I was also able to bring my small service dog who also has breathing issues. My vet said it's wonderful for dogs. I'm very thankful for this understanding owner and their compassion. However, the man in the room with me goes regularly for his breathing and says it helps, so maybe it takes more visits or maybe it works for some and not all. Me and a group of my friends went here and did a sound bath in the cave this was a great experience. The cave is beautiful and its thick with salt . I've been to other places that barley have any salt in the room this place has chunks of it on the ground with great lounging chairs and blankets to fully immerse yourself in the experience and be so comfortable. 5 stars isn't enough! There is an overwhelming peaceful feeling you get when entering. We did the salt cave and the foot bath detox. I have the hardest time relaxing and meditating and I was able to in the salt cave effortlessly. It is a tad chilly, but they have blankets to use. It was wild to see what came out in the detox foot bath. The foot bath water was refilled throughout with more warm water so I was comfortable throughout. There was a fantastic selection of crystals and the friendliest gal who is an expert in this subject to help ouch out the right ones! It's a great place to go alone, with a friend, or a date with your love. I even think it would be a fun girls day out with my mom friends! I will definitely be coming back. We did a salt cave session , ionic foot bath and the massage chair . The highlights were the relaxation from the salt cave and the massage chair . Docking 2 stars because it only took a few minutes to realize the ionic foot bath was a scam . The premise is that the foot bath works by pulling toxins from your body through your feet - pretty incredible right ? From the cheesy color chart to the wristband strapped to you , it seems hokey from the jump and it only takes a simple Google search to confirm suspicions. The water changes color naturally because of the chemical reaction between the electricity and the salt water, not because of toxins. Don't waste your time or money . It bothers me that this business would offer this because it is fake and they know that it is fake so for them to push this service promotes distrust in them as a business and is unprofessional and unethical in my humble opinion . Google or YouTube for a complete explanation of how this scam works . On the plus side , the customer service was great and we LOVED the massage chairs . Very relaxing . We don't know if the salt cave actually does anything beneficial for your body but we certainly felt relaxed and enjoyed our session in the manufactured cave . read more

It was a fun experience with my son and daughter in love but don't really know if we benefited health wise from the 45 min session. Proprietors were helpful and nice. Wonderful little shop with cute unique items and beautiful jewelry. Would consider changing up music to quieter more zen type relaxation aura. I know they let us select something (music) but we weren't crazy about it and had to listen to it for 45 min. Save some $ and just use the large room open to anyone rather than the private one. read more

Went over the weekend with five girls for a bachelorette party ! It was the most relaxing experience e specially after an evening out . It was so clean , fresh washed blankets , calming music ! The decorations throughout were adorable . Making reservations were easy . We all left feeling rejuvenated we will for sure be back again ! read more

If you're looking for halo therapy, healing or just an ultimate detoxing of your body, Oceanair is the best place. The Himalayan salt caves are so beautifully curated and the energy here at the palm harbor location is amazing. The benefits from the ionic foot bath were immediate and amazing and long lasting, and the halo therapy in the salt cave made me feel even more great, even in the group room with other people. I still felt like it was my own personal experience because of how great I felt. Thanks oceanair I will be back! read more

The rating for 2 stars is due to one of the receptionist named Laura. She was extremely distasteful. Her customer service skills are horrible. She is not professional and comes off with a horrible attitude. My friends called to schedule an appointment and she was snobbish on the phone. Then in person she was even more rude. She spoke down to us in front of customers. When confronted on her behavior she showed no accountability. She has behaved like this twice while visiting. A wonderful establishment, but just horrible customer service from Laura. read more

Let me start by saying I've never heard of this business and my friend found a post about a guided meditation in a salt cave room and she asked if I would be interested in going. I was excited to go and try it out. She called to reserve 3 spots for the event (bc my daughter was interested as well). which was taking place that same evening. I called back a little later to say my daughter wouldn't be coming and asked if that was going to be a problem. I was told absolutely no problem bc we were the only ones that signed up for this event anyway. Upon arrival the place was very nice and clean. The salt room looked amazing. We waited patiently while they had to work through some technical difficulties with the music and during this time we asked if we should pay now or later. We were told we will settle up at the end. The woman who came in for this special event was great! She practices sound therapy so she played a few different instruments along with the guided meditation and since it was just my friend and I we took advantage and layed down on the salt and it was a very therapeutic experience. When everything was said and done we went to check out and I knew it was going to be an extra $5 for the event so we were suppose to pay $40 each but the woman said that will be $80 and I was a little taken back and she said you didn't cancel your daughter's reservation 24 hours in advance. I started laughing a little bc I said my friend literally called today so there was no way I could have canceled the day before and when I called on the phone and asked if it would be a problem to cancel her spot I was told nothing about still having to pay for her and nothing was said to me when I offered to pay up front when I arrived. The young lady was very sweet about it and she texted one of the owners. She said I'm sorry Margaret said you didn't cancel 24hrs in advance and that's our policy. I asked to speak with her and as she was texting her right in front of me she said she's not available to speak. I asked when will she be available and she said to call back tomorrow at 2pm. I had to pay the $80. I thought this was just some misunderstanding and surely we could get this straightened out tomorrow. I call the next day at 2:20pm and another young lady answered and said sorry Margaret is not here and I don't know when she will be in. I proceeded to tell her what happened and she agreed that it was a little sketchy about this policy that really shouldn't have pertained to us since we made the appointment that afternoon. She told me Margaret would call me. Well, I'm still waiting and it's been 2 weeks and not a peep. I think the most disappointing thing about this experience is my friend and I came for some peace and quiet and the owner didn't even have the decency to call back and come up with some kind of peaceful resolution. I even told the young lady I would take a credit instead of trying to get the $40 refund. I've never experienced such poor customer service and I definitely won't be back or making any recommendations. If you do go just make sure you know what your paying for upfront. read more
