Our server (who was terrific!) came right up and let us know that it was Happy Hour all day every day. I ordered a margarita and my husband a whisky. We split the Black and Bleu nachos: grilled chicken with a smoky flavor, bacon, on seasoned potato chips. It usually comes with Bleu cheese sauce, but we ordered without. Food is good but the service is horrible, wait staff are rude, very, very, very slow and act like they're doing you a favor by doing their job, they're more interested in talking to other staff while you can only hope to get a drink refill. I can't imagine how much money they're losing daily on alcohol. I would have had another drink or two, and most likely dessert. We ate at this place a few times while we stayed at the edgewater. This place is really good, we enjoyed the daiquiris, I had the nonalcoholic versions of the strawberry daiquiri and berry daiquiri. The pizza is tasty and the fries are goods, the cheese fries version is really good. My favorite thing I had from there is the chili lime shrimp, they were delicious. The servers were nice and the inside of the restaurant looks good. If you're able to go, I say check it out. read more

As Edgewater Golf Resort has fallen on hard times, it is 35 years old now. Been going for ten.... @ResortCollection has focused their attention on other, newer brands. Ocean's has become a dingy shadow of it's former glory. Owners are dissatisfied with it, the staff, is rude, if not knowledgeable...... really sad to watch it's decline. Was buying here as my aunt owned here....but her pending sale has pushed me to another resort. Too bad. Was grand once. read more

When on a beach trip with friends this was the last place we went before leaving. I was sick and sunburned at the time so I didn't get much food but the small bite of shrimp manicotti I got off my friend's plate was absolutely delicious. I like sitting outside on the patio with the ocean breeze coming over the hill. The only thing I don't like about this restaurant is the price. There's fees for anything and my bill came out to $27 just for a small plate of shrimp and a water. The restaurant is nice but was extremely empty. I get that it's not summer or spring break but other restaurants located along the breach were packed. The food lacks flavor, presentation, and like other reviewers- they are always out of stuff. They had only one rib eye so we opted for the grouper entree. The grouper entree was two different types of fish once it arrived. Our table also ordered the Mahi Club and the bun was 2x bigger than the fish filet. The only thing saving this restaurant the server was nice and pleasant. I wouldn't go back. We love this restaurant. Yesterday we went for lunch and Jackie was our waitress. She was so friendly and personable. We had the Beach wings and chicken quesadillas and they were so delicious! The food is mediocre, I ordered the "New" smothered cheese curds, I was SO excited to get them, they were supposed to be "smothered" with brisket, and when I finally got them I was so disappointed, the amount of brisket was a joke, like literally a tablespoon full!! Wow!! My guess is the only reason they stay in business is because of the convenience of the location. The food was very disappointing and although they are only about 100 yards from our vacation rental we will be traveling outside to get lunch. Went for lunch. It was a Monday, noonish. We elected to eat inside as it was very windy outside. Only two other tables inside were occupied. Since eat-in only recently started again, it wasn't overly busy. As I'm gluten-free there were not many options. Cauliflower crust pizza. Some salads without croutons. Etc. I chose the steak burger without a bun. With cheddar cheese and asked for it medium rare. It came medium. Ok. But asked for ketchup took a long time for them to locate. I'm only slightly annoyed by this burger because this small patty was $15!!!!!! Jeez it should be cooked to perfection and be outstanding for a $15 lunch burger! I ordered a Pinot Grigio--- it was brought promptly. But it was the worst tasting Pinot I've ever had, it was bitter. Must have been either old or was left in the heat. Thankfully they removed it. My friend had the chicken fingers and requested honey. They brought honey mustard dressing. That took a while for them to locate as well. Just plain honey. Granted, Oceans just reopened for sit down dining. But you are the on-site dining for a huge resort. You need to up your game and offer better value for your meals. Especially since your raised most of the prices on the menu. Mediocre is not going to cut it. Service needs to be speedy and prompt. You have work to do to be better. Servers did not wear face masks. When we tried to enter the gate to Edgewater Resort in which Oceans is located, we were VERY rudely told by the security guard that the restaurant was for residents of Edgewater only. He then went into his office and slammed the door. I had to back out of the entrance lane. Don't waste your time going here. So, after walking by the restaurant a few times, thought it could be decent. Our server came over after a little while and took our drink order. There was not too much taste to them outside of a bit of spice. Even when adding the guacamole which came with it. To be honest, my favorite part of the meal was the stake fries. My girlfriend ordered a plain burger with nothing on it. However, they still brought a burger with everything on it. She gave me all of the vegetables amusingly. Asked for a round table with six chairs for a little more room, and hostess said nope, have to save in case a larger party comes in. The place was..completely...empty. Ocean's is as good as is gets for location! If you are staying at Edgewater then it it right there in the complex. The food is very good and I really have not had anything I did not enjoy. If you go deep sea fishing then call ahead and the chef will cook your fish that you caught in an amazing family style feast for a very resononable price including sides! Only thing they could work on a bit is speed of service. Every time I go it's not very crowded but I wait too long to be served and get my drink and my meal. read more

When we stay at Edgewater, we always try to do a sunset dinner at Oceans. The food isn't cheap, but it's not super expensive. Portions are large, drinks are refillable. The only complaint is the cost of kids meals. At $9.99 they are expensive--benefit is that they give them a flashy LED souvenir cup and the drink is included. But the portions for the kids aren't very large if you want them share for instance. More than enough for my 8 year old, but not enough for my 11/12 year old. I wouldn't recommend it for those with several children. The mixed drinks are very yummy and the souvenir cups are fun. It's a good date night sunset dinner place...I recommend eating outside! read more

Joke of an establishment! 20 minutes before closing time we are told we can't go to the bar to get a drink. 8 to 10 people at the bar drinking and told they are not serving any more and are just waiting for them to leave so they can close up. If you post you close at 10 then close and 10 not 9:30 not 9:45. We waited to walk down because they state they close at 10. The bar lost close to $100 in sales just to make some quick drinks and the bartender lost a nice tip and now you have a negative review to boot! read more
