Wow great place. 2 for 1 well cocktails during happy hour and the well vodka is Tito or Stoli! Not bad selections and they were strong!! The food had a wide variety to choose from and everything we got was very good!!

We originally were planning on a different place for dinner but ended up here. After a brief wait, we were taken to a nice table where our server greeted us. My kids ordered the crab legs, and I got the grouper dinner. The service was great and the food was fresh and yummy. The restaurant was clean and neat. I recommend this place to anyone visiting PBC!!

wing 3 same order? would you eat this crap?

yelp blocked my negative review! filler We visited Salty Sue's and they sat us in the back where it was quiet so that was nice. All of us decided to go for a pound of crab each, which came out to about two to two-and-a-half clusters per order. The crab was cooked perfectly--not overdone at all--which made it easy to enjoy! For sides, we had a nice variety. I ordered the baby bakers, which are steamed baby potatoes in butter, along with corn on the cob. I was especially glad the corn wasn't frozen, since that's something you often run into at other places. Both girls got the mac and cheese, which was a solid side, and her friend ordered the onion rings. Those were lightly fried with a nice crisp texture and just the right amount of salt. Our server, a sweet blonde lady with what sounded like a Russian or Polish accent, was attentive and made sure we had everything. The restaurant also had a magician walking around performing card tricks for tips which was fun!

For my dad's birthday, he chose Salty Sue's. It ended up being hit or miss. First of all, my sweet tea was really sweet and refreshing. After consulting a lot of photos on Yelp, this non-seafood eater went with the Jamaican Jerk Chicken with potato salad and baked beans. The chicken was good when it wasn't overdone and burnt. They did give me a good size portion with 2 leg quarters and maybe they felt sorry for making me wait so long (more on that in a moment), they threw in a 3rd one for no charge. The potato salad was my favorite as it was the baked potato type. The beans were not your run of the mill Bush beans style. This meal gave me enough faith to try their pulled pork or ribs if there is a next time. But if you are planning on going to Salty Sue's, don't plan on doing anything else. We arrived at 7 on a Tuesday night in July. It took 45 minutes to be seated. That didn't bother me. What bothered me was that it took 10 minutes for a waitress to greet us, 10 minutes to bring us our drinks and take our order. We finally got our food 40 minutes after ordering it. We arrived at 7 and started eating at 840. I should be leaving at 840 on a Tuesday night. Overall the food was pretty good especially the sides and sweet tea, but if you are in a hurry or have somewhere to be at a specific time, go elsewhere.

The food was fantastic and so was the service. Huge servings also. Jerk chicken and shrimp were both wonderful.

Great food, the worst service ever though! Took 45 minutes to get our check after we all finished with our food.

Poor service. Ordered Mahi and it was lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes were good but everything else was not.

Waitress was fun & fabulous! Food was great, too. On a busy night, we didn't have to wait long, and the wait was worth it!

    Do they serve raw oysters?

Sadly no. Try Dusty’s, Shuckum’s or The Sandbar or if you want to take a ride into PCB, Hunt’s is the best in town. For the best deal, Tootsie’s in Pier Park has $5 per dozen during Happy Hour.

Is this pet friendly during the summer months?

I have not seen pets inside, but it is my understanding that the side porch area is pet (mostly dog) friendly.

I love golfing and Topgolf has created such a wonderful experience for people looking to practice their swing and improve their game. The check-in process at this location was a little clunky and I think it's annoying that new players are required to pay the $6 new golfer fee on top of the 2 hour play price. I also wasn't aware that if you played on "practice" mode that none of your hits would be recorded. It was one of my best and most consistent hitting days and I'll never know how far I hit that day. It would also be really nice if the staff would give you a run down of the different golf modes available on the computer, especially if they require you to pay the extra fee to be a 'member'. I think that would have opened up more options for everyone playing in our group. They do offer a great menu but I didn't order food at this location because I went there to golf and they told us we only could golf for 1:45 mins (but we paid for 2 hrs)... so I wanted to focus! I did order a Diet Coke though and it was good. The waitress was really nice and not pushy at all. I would recommend this location to beginners and experts alike. Even if you don't golf, you can still go with your friends, order some food and hang out!
