We recently ate at this establishment, and an 18% gratuity was added to our bill for 6 people. Fine. But then, there is a "suggested" tip at the bottom. It does not say an "extra" tip. The suggested amount was based on the total, including the tax, the fees for using a card, AND THE TIP I already gave. If anyone was not reviewing the receipt closely, they would go with this total and suggestion. This is so dishonest, or is that the hope? That people won't look? I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and twins for dinner. We had found Gulf Coast Burger on Yelp, and I fully intended on ordering a burger. However, before I made it that far into the menu, I found the fried grouper and was sold on that with tater tots. My wife looked through the entire menu before circling back to the fried shrimp and added sweet potato fries for an extra dollar. I placed the order through their website, which used Tabit, and was told it would be ready in 18 minutes. When I walked into the restaurant 18 minutes later, my food was ready and I was quickly out the door. Since I only made it a few steps inside, I can't say much about the decor. We ended up taking our food to the beach to eat dinner. Upon opening the to-go containers, I discovered that the sides for our entrees had been mixed up. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was a bit annoying. After that, I started eating my grouper with tartar sauce. After my first bite, I noticed the tartar sauce looked clotted and immediately stopped eating it. As for the grouper itself, there were four pieces. Two were good, but the other two were dry with hard, overcooked edges. Thankfully, my wife enjoyed her shrimp and said our daughter did too. After she finished, I tried my tater tots and thought they were good. They were super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bottom line for me is that I probably wouldn't head back here again in the future. While my wife enjoyed her food, there were just too many mishaps with mine to be happy. Our waitress was very kind, but did not check on our table but once when somebody else brought out our food. A member of our party had to go get her to order dessert. Don't eat here!!!!! Zero stars! We come Here every time we are in Panama City but this time our visit was horrible. My grandson ordered a 16.00 plate of chicken wings he nibbled on one and he said it didn't taste good he decided to try another in case is was isolated to that one he said it was the same my husband tried one he said yes they are horrible the seasoning was bad and they were very mushy. We asked the server if she can change it for a burger. She said ok but didn't look happy about it. The manager came over did not introduce himself just started saying "number 1 you ate the wings" Number 2 i am not talking it off the bill" Number 3 i can't even remember because at this point i'm boiling. After some back and forth we said forget about the hamburger we are not paying for 2 meals. We asked for the owners info he said i don't know why you want it he is not going to do anything. He gave us the owners first name and said the call is just going to go there anyway. Horrible service horrible manners and horrible food! We wanted some burgers for lunch and settled on this place. The burgers were somewhat unique but the tastes were kind of bland in a few of the burgers. I chose the Texas burger and the barbecue sauce didn't fit well with the chili. Although it was a good burger there was something off about the taste. My son got the bison burger and he said there wasn't much flavor or seasoning to it. The appetizers were very good. We got the loaded fries, loaded tater tots, and loaded nachos. I think the tater tots were my favorite. My wife and I got the ice cream sandwich sundae and it was very good. We got a few of the fancy milkshakes which were good milkshakes. Although we've been coming to PCB for over 40 years, my family and I stopped by for our first visit last night. Really wanted to like the place--atmosphere was good, menu looked promising. Regrettably, it was only after I ordered a fried pickle appetizer i realized they were a punishing $11 (ELEVEN) dollars. I choked back profanity and tried to be calm. When they arrived though, all bets were off. In my less-than-half-full basket were exactly 20 pickle chips. Our party of 10 all got burgers of various type and all (even children) found the patties to be dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in any seasoning whatsoever. If you don't choose a specialty burger, they become add-on driven-- fries no longer included. Which somehow could easily raise the price of a basic burger to more than specialty price (especially when you consider fries are included with specialty.) Two in our group were annoyed that the mushroom & Swiss option didn't include grilled onions, those are extra. Listen, I get that you have huge candy-loaded milkshakes and that's cool, but if you're going to call yourself a burger place; I'd suggest getting the basics down first-seasoning, temperature, and grilling technique. Personally I can think of a dozen better burger options out there, one is my kitchen; sadly, a couple are fast food. read more

The restaurant was clean and open seating was spacious. Burgers were a strong 3.2 out of 5. Super creative options based on different state themes and flavors. Several additional options and classics to choose from with a variety of sides too. Burgers are cooked either medium well or well done. I prefer medium rare for more juiciness, softer texture and flavor. Kids menu has nice options for the little ones. Desert menu is awesome with both colorful and creative shakes. These are definitely Instagrams me and fun to eat in your take a way souvenir glass.
