    Trash obstacle course

Absolute below bare minimum horse care and staff will forget to feed your horse. The staff does not care about your horse and has zero idea of what basic horse care actually is. My mares pasture was COVERED in rocks, trash, and exposed rods, concrete blocks, and was the poop pile. I was so embarrassed taking anyone to see my mare because of the conditions of the place itself. If you notice - none of these reviews are current. My mare constantly was getting injured from all the dangerous articles in the pasture. Staff would forget to feed your horse and Chris wouldn't give any sort of apology unless you asked for one. Just beyond unprofessional and a terrible way of running a business. Chris cares more about her dogs (which the kennels are in disgusting condition with green water and emancipated dog). Her dog field had lights and grass, but the horse pastures have rocks and the arenas dont have lights. Photos below of the horrible conditions my mare lived in. Also photos of the "obstacle course" but it's just a bunch of trash put in an even rockier pasture as a selling point. If you want your horse to live better, you have to actually do the work yourself. I spent several hours one day pulling weeds and removing rocks. The arena is never dragged, maybe once a month. And is completely rocky. My mares pasture gate was left wide open and the staff blamed it on another horse (they were putting up fencing in the pasture and couldn't own up to this mistake.) Chris called my mare "special needs" because my mare needs grain. And continued to called my mare special needs to insult her and myself. Save your money and please don't board here. I have had such a horrible experience and my mare paid for it in constantly getting stabbed and injured from all the rocks and exposed steel rods (that was never fixed.)

Dogspot is truly Bambams' home away from home. The facility is exceptionally hygienic, but what…read morereally sets them apart are their strict vaccination and temperament standards that keep every pup safe. This place was a literal lifesaver for us: the staff once noticed Bams was lethargic with faint yellow gums--a detail so subtle that even Bams vet was impressed they caught it. It turned out to be mild jaundice, which proves that Carlene and her team are true professionals who deeply understand canine health. The front desk experience is always a highlight of our day. The staff--Gabs, Kayla, Daniela, and Enrique--are incredibly sweet, soft-spoken, and remarkably easy to talk to, even during those 6 am drop-offs. Being greeted by Kayla's pup, Yogi, or Carlene's pup, Poppy or Ingrid's pup is truly the best way to start the morning. They're such a joy; all they ever ask for is a little love and some well-deserved tummy scratches! The service is so thoughtful; they know Bams loves fetch but also ensure she gets her necessary quiet breaks after meals. Whether I'm at work or traveling internationally, I have total peace of mind thanks to the multi-angle webcam app and the heartwarming photo updates they send. Boarding is seamless (pro tip: label your food bags!), and the Paw Partner app makes booking a breeze. I also have to shout out Jessica from Snips and Snuggles--she is the sweetest groomer and always leaves Bams looking like a princess in her festive bandanas. A massive thank you to Carlene and the entire hardworking team-- Kayla, Gabs, Daniela, Enrique, Connor, Tim, and Ingrid (and anyone I missed!)--for the 14-hour days you pull to care for our furry family members. We appreciate and love you!

Be ready for a hands-off approach by the owner Carlene. No direct contact or follow-up by phone…read more Uses email thru the shift manager to address customer concerns or feedback. Kinda the hands off corporate approach since Dog Spot is so big now. My situation of a dropped pre-paid stay package record lost during Dog Spot transition to a new on line app resulted in us not being able to use what we purchased. After 2 weeks of call messages, a visit to Dog Spot to get tbe new Dog Spot app loaded by the on-air Manager, and numerous voice mails to Carlene, the owner, I received an email telling me my pre-pause stay package had expired. My learning- don't buy pre-paid stay packages at Dog Spot. Don't expect the owner to return calls or follow up on customer concerns. She has staff to do that.

This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had…read more The older white woman working the floor acted as though helping customers was beneath her. She didn't just come across as rude--she seemed genuinely annoyed and disgusted anytime someone asked her a question. Every interaction was cold, condescending, and unnecessarily hostile. What made it even worse was that it wasn't just me. While I was in the store, I watched her interact with several other customers, and every single interaction had the same dismissive, irritated attitude. She spoke to people as if they were inconveniencing her simply by asking for assistance. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout the store. Customer service doesn't require someone to be overly cheerful, but it does require basic courtesy and respect. This employee showed neither. If someone dislikes interacting with customers this much, they shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. Management seriously needs to pay attention to the way this employee treats people. One bad employee can ruin an entire shopping experience, and based on what I witnessed, this doesn't seem like an isolated incident. Unless something changes, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Review for Michelle with Cosmo K9 Obedience for Max's training:…read more Max came to us after being surrendered to the Humane Society. We were told he had been an escape artist, and once we got to know him, we quickly realized just how much help he needed. He had no leash manners, was extremely reactive around other dogs, no recall, and pulled so hard that he left my wrist bruised. He was also very anxious and initially required medication. Oh and he's notorious for giving you the side eye... With my work schedule and limited experience with Mr. Sassy pants...I knew I needed professional help, so I reached out to Cosmo K9 Obedience and was matched with Michelle. She was truly the perfect match for Max. Michelle gave him exactly what he needed: love, patience, structure, and consistency. During his two-week training program, Max was exposed to so many new environments such as beaches, parks, stores, the mall, and more. He learned how to stay calm, listen, follow basic commands, and navigate situations that previously would have sent him into a barking or reactive frenzy. One thing I especially appreciated was Michelle's communication and attention to detail throughout the entire process. She provided detailed progress updates, photos, and notes that allowed us to see what Max was learning and how he was progressing. She even gave us a personalized graduation magnet with Max in a little cap and gown. It was such a thoughtful keepsake and a small personal touch that meant a lot to us. The difference we've seen is incredible. Max now enjoys his walks, responds to commands like sit, down, and recall, and is much more receptive when we encounter other dogs. He no longer bolts out the door, and even my kids feel more comfortable walking and working with him. Michelle didn't just train Max...she gave us the tools to continue his training at home. I know this is a lifelong commitment, and I have homework to continue working on, but I now feel confident that we have the tools to give Max the happy, active life he deserves. We're already looking forward to all the adventures ahead such as hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, bike rides, and so much more. We are incredibly grateful to Michelle for helping Max become a calmer, happier, and more confident dog.

We've had no out-of-control barking incidents; he can be tethered and remain quiet. He's very good on walks, moving from "heel" to "break" and back to "heel" again. He's very responsive to the "off" command, which we use primarily to keep him off the furniture and out of the kitchen. Last week we had friends over for dinner and after his initial excitement he was a good boy, lying nearby content and chewing on a bone. We even attended the Humane Society Walk for Animals at Kit Carson Park, and with hundreds of dogs and people and non-stop activities, he was again a very well-behaved boy. We are so appreciative of the work that Michelle did with Monty. He is now the dog we always hoped he would be - happy, well-behaved, and living his best life!

From the very beginning, Misty was incredible. She carved out time weeks before the wedding for us to meet each other and talk about our dog's (Louie) temperament, our expectations, and the full game plan for the big day. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was prepared and genuinely cared about making everything go smoothly. On the wedding day, she was amazing. She arrived early to the Airbnb and was able to get used to walking and handling Louie. She walked Louie down the aisle, handled him and helped him greet guests during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and kept everything completely stress-free for us. She kept us updated via text throughout the day, and when it was time to drop him back off at our Airbnb in the evening, she sent photos and updates so we knew he was settled and happy. She even left us the sweetest wedding gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Misty was kind, professional, organized, and clearly loves what she does. We are SO grateful for her and would absolutely book Dogs on the Run again. Highly, highly recommend!
