True to the quote- I got my call right at 45 minutes. We had a party of 8- me and John, my sister, her hubby and her 2 girls & my mom and her man. I put in an appetizer order for cheese curds right away, knowing I wanted to try them- but when you order appetizers, service slows. They don't take your order for regular food right away. Meanwhile, bathroom situation here is one stall rooms. AKA- one at a time- that was a little brutal. Cheese curds were phenominal- only better I've had were in Milwaukee! Food was ordered and it took forever and a day- my poor niece didn't get her food till everyone was finished eating. She actually left and stood in line for the bathroom to avoid watching us all eat. I felt horrible for her. Meanwhile- everyone's food was fabulous. Except mine. John and I ordered the philly cheesesteak. There was not nearly enough meat. The burgers that hit the table- huge, juicy and cheesey. The charcuterie board- spectacular! The bowl of soup huge and filling. Our cheesesteak- bread and a ton of cheese and over cooked meat that didn't meet the ratio of meat-bread-cheese. For a very small, curated menu- I expected everything to be delicious. I was genuinely sad that our meal failed. And the wait on Addy's lunch was unacceptable. Those 2 things bumped a 4 star review down, I actually selected 4 when I started typing and then changed it to 3 because recalling this memory to write this up... sigh. I love supporting small.
