She has which is a note system that travels along with each patient in their files. She has placed a note in my file in epic stating that he is an which is incorrectly. My son has to take Delatin via IV. So how can he be attic if the only way he can get it is that your hospital administer? It's not something you can go off the street and get he hasn't been seeking it off the street so how could you call him an attic? I am very upset with this. I am contacting my should be ashamed of yourself to even allow a doctor to put that in a foul when this type of performance is unacceptable it's just unacceptable so I am filing a formal complaint. She needs to be removed from the rotation. She's rude and not only did she put this in his file, she treat him like he was a piece of dirt up under her shoe. I don't like it at all. He has been in for the last six years. I flew him medically to New Orleans, thinking that you all would take care of him, but hell he could've stayed in California and got this kind of treatment. At least they knew he wasn't an attic and they did give him the medicine that he needed that would somewhat control his pain. I am very upset. Feel free to reach out to me 318512-5885. My name is Tammy Johnson.or via email tjohnson19@comcast.net Her comments need to be removed from his chart and she is to never ever be part of of the so call 7 day rotation. also, how do you expect a patient to get the utmost level of care if every seven days you're rotating doctors and some read the notes some don't and if there is an issue that he is specified, he has a autoimmune which has caused a lot of issues, neurologically everything. How would you just want? Just a regular on-call doctor just to come in and say OK we're gonna do this. Why not leave him with a speciallist who will follow the notes accordingly

Ochsner... Oh Ochsner... My how you've grown. By leaps & bounds. You're taking over hospitals &…read morebuilding neighborhood clinics. What's next... the world??? Well, well, well. Soooooo pre-katrina, the Ochsner "main campus" was but a mere consideration & most times NOT the choice of hospitals one decided upon... BUUUUTTTT NOOOOOW post-katrina, options are limited & Ochsner has a slight "monopoly" so to speak, in the world of New Orleans clinic/hospitals. So with that being the case, your choices are Ochsner or Ochsner or Ochsner, yeah. Post-Katrina, I have visited this facility more times than I care to mention, either with a relative or a friend. And this time is no different, I'm here with a relative. Review time: Entering the ER triage, we were immediately told to take the elevator to the 8th floor... No reference to which set of elevators... Guess me, my in active labor, aminotic sac ruptured preggo sis & her bestie have to figure it out... Ummm ok. Next we get to the area where she's "to be admitted" & no1 is there to greet us. Sooooo I pushed the "no admittance doors" and admitted, ha... Lol (classic me). So we fiiiind the nurse station... because there was no welcoming committee & then we're wheeled to yet another area. Upon arrival in the L&D triage area, "the correct place" (ER personnel sent us to the post delivery area, we needed pre delivery) we finally get some treatment & attention. She's admitted & we meet a myriad of people, some with great bedside manners & some not so great. Namely, Drs Moore, Pullman, Jordan & Super Nurses Brooke & Emma, ALL members of #teamoutstanding... and then the members of #teamNOTsogreat, well they shall remain nameless. I can honestly say the care, concern & patience shown to us by The L&D Staff, was phenomenal!!! If Alton Ochsner were alive, I'd give the ladies a shout-out & DEMAND a raise. The Ochsner monopoly, the find the elevators episode & the few not so nice L&D staff members, ehhhhh 3 stars it is. And only 3 because of L&D. A few other things to be noted: Southport cafe is all about healthy food choices Getting an appointment here is months out Navigating the hospital itself, is complex The whole Ochsner monopoly, I'm over it

I had torn a tendon in my hand and it was burning and hurting like crazy. 'It will get better on its own' was the only 'medical' advice they offered. Never again.

It seemed like he had a cold but I was worried about his breathing. I checked the open time online to try to get there when they opened and hopefully limit his exposure to other sicknesses. I get there only to realize they opened and hour earlier than the time posted online. The place was packed so I knew it would take a while. I checked in and took a seat in an overflow room. Of course other sick children join us, one of which was covered in a rash. I was worried about him catching something else. We waited in there for so long. It was his snack time and I had brought and fed him his snack. Finally we get called to a room. The nurse takes his vitals and says someone will be in soon. An hour later we are still waiting. My 1 year old is getting restless so I start walking the halls with him. This went on for another 30 min. We'd walk the halls and go back to his room and repeat. On one of out walks I witness the NP go into a room with a family who had come long after us. I question one of the medical assistants and find out the NP has been seeing patients in the wrong order. She profusely apologizes and goes get the NP and tells her to come see us. The NP was extremely unprofessional. She came in and sat on the counter propping her feet up. She never apologized for seeing us so late. My 1 year old who is now tired and hungry starts playing with her shows because she has her feet propped up. I keep telling him to stop and she is laughing thinking it is cute. Her of all people should know he shouldn't be touching dirty shoes, especially not in a doctor office. Then on top of all that, she keeps asking questions I answered already like she just didnt remember. She also told me keep giving him his Zeytec that she saw in the computer he was on. So I inform her that it's Zantac for his acid reflux. She said oh it's okay, they all do the same thing. Wait, what?! Anyways, I'm done with that place. Hopefully wont even need to bring him to the doctor anytime soon, but it I do it def won't be here.
