My advice: if you have diabetes and need to see a doctor, ANY doctor is much better than nurses that technically scream in your face when your blood glucose isn't expected levels and a doctor that's not even there 85% of the time. I HATE pricking my finger for blood glucose; I rather take a urine test, at least that is painless and doesn't violent a certain spiritual being's Temple. The ONLY reason that this place deserves 2 stars is because the ease of making appointments and that's all. Stay away from here if you're diabetic.

They never told me I'll be billed for anything after. Definitely not $300 in total. THIS IS A SCAM!!! Please learn from my experience and don't go there! When I called billing, they said, they don't know what services I'll be receiving and they couldn't give me an estimate before... I was going for a prescription refill. Of course they know what services I need (Shady business) I am going to file complaint with the state for their practices. I was also thinking about taking them to small claim court but I simply don't have the time. So I'll pay this bill and never go there again!

His office also required that I go in to be seen by Dr. Holloway before. I WAS late, and that was on me, but I DID arrive within the 15 minute time window they allow. When the receptionist mentioned I was over the 15 minutes, I pointed to THEIR CLOCK sitting on the desk. It said 6:45. She said, well, I have 6:47. REALLY???? I drive an hour through traffic and construction to get here and be told Dr. Holloway won't see me because your clocks say two different things? My phone clock ALSO said 6:45 btw. I'm not trying to excuse being late, but I also can't control traffic, and driving is difficult for me. It's difficult on a regular basis because I have narcolepsy, but today it was also difficult because I had gotten injured again (which is why I needed to be seen to begin with!) Also, I just want to point out that this office takes work in appointments for people who need to be seen right away. So really? I really couldn't be seen AT ALL today because of a couple minutes? Oh, and I still have to drive BACK home this morning, through all that traffic and construction, and having gotten zero help for my back. I'm sitting in my car crying. Utterly ridiculous. The cherry on top of this entire mess was as I was leaving I saw their sign out front flashing "walk ins welcome" and "We can see you now". REALLY???? Yes, they can see everyone except for someone they claim was two minutes over their time limit for an actual scheduled appointment. But they can't get me in for another week. And that was the very earliest, PLUS I'm going to have to cancel another appointment I had just to make their reschedule. It makes my blood boil. They need to fix their clocks and revise their statements about walk ins if they can't fit an established patient in who had an actual appointment for at least another week. I wouldn't advise even chancing a walk in here given this experience. Oh, and just want to add.....when I was on the highway stuck behind a car accident this morning, I DID try to call and let them know I'd be late and to find out if it was still ok to come in. Their phone lines aren't open if you have an early appointment - they turn those on at their "official" opening time of 8 am. So I could reach no one, no answering service, no voice mail, and even the option to reach the dr on call was not working. The ONLY option was to call at 8 am - well past my appointment - or to not show up. Of course, if I had simply decided to not show up given the traffic delay, I would have been penalized for that too. I am an established patient who has seen Dr. Holloway for a long time - I think around five years now - but I'm starting to get really upset by how little he seems to care, because apparently the decision that I couldn't be seen today came directly from him. I have some serious, ongoing physical health problems that need proper attention. This is especially the case when I get injured. But sure, let's quibble over two extra minutes and delay my care. If I requested a a record to be faxed, it was never received. If I left a message for a callback, I never received the callbacks.

I don't have insurance and wanted to know how much everything would cost before taking the tests; they checked up on everything, told me how much it would cost, and that's exactly what I paid ($60, including their $25 appointment fee which they charge for anything). All the results were given, save for the blood test, while I was there. My appointment was on a Thursday and they called me with my blood test results on Monday. Not a good experience. Took my teenage daughter for UTI symptoms and Liza Samuel, PA refused to…read moregive her a prescription because she said we should go to an ER to make sure it hadn't moved to her kidney. She had zero pain in her back where kidneys are and other labs were normal so no reason to suspect that. When I asked about giving her an oral antibiotic to try first, she said oral antibiotics are ineffective on kidneys. Flat out lie. Not feeling like we had any other choice, I took her to an ER. After waiting for 3.5 hours, we were seen by Dr. Nowak and she agreed that it was WAY overkill to send her to an ER for a UTI. She said oral antibiotics are absolutely effective for kidneys too and my daughter should have never been sent to an ER for a plain old UTI. We spent hours of wasted time and who knows how much money since we haven't met our deductible yet because Liza is inept and doesn't know that oral antibiotics work on kidneys just fine. In fact, that's exactly what the ER prescribed, oral antibiotics, before we finally got to go home. What a waste of time and money. We will NOT be going back to this little clinic ever again.
