I sent her my concept and she explained the process and pricing clearly before we booked. She told me what to expect and how to prepare. A few days before she sent me a draft of the design and was open to feedback on a few changes I wanted. The tattoo process took five hours and she made sure I knew I could ask to stop or take a break at any time. She played great music, and we chatted for a while until I wanted to put headphones on to listen to a book. When we were done she thoroughly explained aftercare and said to check in after 30 days and she would do touch ups if needed.

He has the steadiest hand of anyone I've ever known. I'm not sure what his secret is...perhaps no caffeine and constantly ensuring his blood sugar is at a healthy level. Whatever it is, it's working for him. Each time I've gone into the Parlor, I've known precisely what I wanted, bringing photos and photocopies of exactly what I want Ryan to replicate on my arm. And he does what you ask for with precision. But before my appointment today, I witnessed a planning session between Ryan and another of his repeat clients. Ryan was collaborative, listened closely to what the client wished to add to his "art gallery" on his arm, asked a lot of questions, made suggestions, and worked with the client to arrive at a plan for his upcoming sessions. And while my tattoos are simply done in black--essentially words and connected lines with a lifetime of meaning, and a signature that I envision tracing with my fingertips for the rest of my life--(Ryan is masterful at creating epic, vibrant masterpieces...check out his Instagram: Ryan_Sn3ll) what he has etched onto my arm are true treasures to me that evoke feelings of home and family and that hold my heart.
