They were friendly and welcoming. I got a more private piercing so the shop did a great job respecting my privacy and making sure I felt comfortable. The piercer was amazing!! The piercer walked me through the process while making me feel comfortable and confident. The piercing room was clean and all the equipment was sterilized in front of me. I had an amazing experience here. I came in literally as a walk in and it was such a spur of the moment thing for me to get a tattoo. I called ahead and they were very nice over the phone and answered my questions. When I came in, they said that they already had someone that I could talk to right away and I was stoked. I had the pleasure of having Courtney tattoo me that day and I can't say anything but positive things about this experience. Courtney was so sweet and awesome to talk to. Her work is amazing and really detailed. Went in for my 18th birthday to get my dream tattoo and let me say that Brandon made me feel comfortable and was extremely nice. I've been to Hopeless Ink multiple times for various tattoos, and every single one has been an enjoyable experience. Yesterday, I got a tattoo from Court and she did a phenomenal job. She took my reference photos and created her own interpretation of my ideas. She hand sketched the design on my back, and took the time to make sure I loved how it looked before we started the session. The tattoo took 3 hours, but worth every second. She offered to let me have breaks as well, which is nice because the back/spine can be a sensitive. Very considerate. I'm a happy client, and will gladly recommend this shop to anyone. Got this done a few months ago by Matt. Did a fabulous job and very happy with it. Matt was receptive to the baseline ideas of what I wanted and let him do the rest. This studio was clean and very professional. Expect a wait time for these amazing artists!! To the reviewer who posted they just wanted to "throw mad money down" on a tattoo and expect a tattoo artist to do "exactly what you want", your crazy. That artist did you a solid and didn't want to ruin their reputation with a crap tattoo. A tattoo needs to be a collaboration between the two. read more

Courtney (Laundrus) completely annihilated this tattoo. I mean that in the way she fucking killed it! I have a floral piece near the placement of this from another artist and she made the transition between the two tattoos look very intentional. The tattoo itself is absolutely breathtaking. She even preformed this tattoo while on a "cleanse" which if it was me, I'd reek havoc on someone if I was cleansing and giving a tattoo. She hasn't eaten carbs in four days and she finished this sucker. Mad props to her Aside from the tattoo it self and the badass who created it, the shop is the bees knees. I emailed John and herd back same day, he had me come in so we could talk over my idea and so he could draw out some ideas and got it done so fast and so well, got a appointment set a week later and came in late and still received a positive attitude from everyone in the shop. John talked me through it a bit due to getting a sternum tattoo and he did it fast but also was very attentive to where he could fix up his lines and took the time to make sure it was well done. I had the pleasure to be pierced by Rachel and the entire process was seamless. I was greeted at the door as soon as I walked in and I had not made an appointment (they do advise that in the future to secure a booking prior to coming in). I came for a nasal piercing to complement the other side of my nose. The girl who pierced me was super sweet and personable. However, she corkscrewed my piercing. It didn't go through with one smooth push so she spun the needle while she pierced me. It hurt like hell. My piercings are slightly off balance from each other, but I approved the spot so not her fault. Now I have that piercing bump on the inside of my nose. It's been about 3 weeks and I don't want to go back to her to check it. Just my personal experience. read more
