I've been coming here for years whenever we visited my mother-in-law, and it was always one of our favorite lunch spots before heading out of town. While on vacation, we stopped in looking for a fun local bar and were glad we did. Great atmosphere, friendly service, excellent bar food, and plenty to do with multiple BullShooter dart boards, pool tables, Golden Tee, and more. There are plenty of TVs always showing sports, great live musicians nightly, karaoke nights, and a nice outdoor seating area for people watching. We met some people at our hotel who have been going to North Myrtle Beach for years! They raved about OD Arcade especially the steak tips. We couldn't find them in the menu, but learned later that they are a Friday nite special. We missed the boat on that. Went on Saturday during the "SOS" (Google it). Tried to get served outdoors. No bueno. Tried to get served on the deck. When we finally got a server's attention, it was clear we were an imposition. I asked an out a wine list & got a curt response "red, white, pink". Um, okay. We ordered the 12 oz ribeye with shrimp + salad & baked potato. The taste of the steak was outstanding! I wish I could recreate it. Well give it another shot when we return. Two thumbs up to the chef. However, if serving no -SOS guests is too much of a challenge, they should just close the deck & outdoor seating in the future and post signage re, being closed for a special event. read more

We went here Friday night for the steak special after hearing friends rave about how good it was. There were 4 of us and all 4 steaks were inedible...so tough we couldn't cut them with a steak knife. Let's just get our expectations here straight: this is a dive bar. This is by no means fine dining of any sort. But it *is* a nice establishment. It is mostly clean, and this place seem to attract patrons less of the riff-raff type and more of the drunk dads on vacation type. I give the OD a five for what they are and that is an old school legend with great bar and food. I've been several times over the years since 2011 and went today for lunch. No matter how busy they are you get a good drink and the food from burgers to my fav the club sandwich with tots is always outstanding . This place has absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have worked in the restaurant business for 20 years, so I am usually overly understanding and patient. I never complain, but this time it is warranted. We were looking for family friendly karaoke. Their website said 6 p.m.. We stopped in during the day to ask the bartender just to confirm. She told us it started at 7. We were confused, so my parents called to also confirm. They were also told 7 p.m. We all arrived at 6:30 so we could get a table for 12. At 7, there were no signs of karaoke starting. So I went to the bar and asked. The bartender very rudely informed me it started at 8. Even though we were all very annoyed at this point (other issues not worth mentioning) we decided to stay because our girls really had their hearts set on singing. I go up to get a drink. I asked the same very rude bartender what flavors of Truly they had and she acted like she was very annoyed with me, shook her head, threw her hands up and said "I don't know, lemon". We placed an order for food, she asked what the table number was. I told her the table number, she said "it can't be that", when it most certainly was that number. At this point I was totally over this place. But, we had to wait to let our daughters' sing before we could leave. Other people at the bar were also complaining about the bartender's attitude. As we were sitting there waiting, my mother spotted the manager. She called him over. She kindly informed him the website says karaoke starts at 6, she called and was told 7, and now it doesn't start until 8. He sounding annoyed said "I can't stay up all night keeping up with the website" So, now we are just in shock at the absolute lack of customer service. read more

"you want another beer honey" to the guy next to us while we're sitting all alone ... I don't think so. It was my husband and my first day in North Myrtle Beach and we wanted to stop and have a small bite to eat and drink outside. We landed at OD arcade because of the outside tables. But what really stunned us was the dance floor inside with the amazing dancers filling the floor that really knew their stuff!
