Tonight was another Saturday night date night. But this was a special one. My wife just retired and this was our retirement celebration night out. So she chose the Christmas lights of Chagrin Falls and "Odd Fellows Restaurant" which looks out on the Gazebo and all the lights of the square. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately were seated at a comfortable table in the center of the room by a very professional young woman. Very shortly after, the sweetest, most bubbly young lady greeted us and introduced herself as Bianca, our server for the evening. I can't say enough about Bianca. She was absolutely extraordinary. Friendly is an understatement. She had a beautiful smile that never left her face. She was so personable you could not help but feel comfortable in her care for the evening. Throughout the 2+ hours we were in her hands she just kept getting more impressive. If you decide to give "Odd Fellows" a try you would be doing yourself a great service by requesting her as your server for the evening when you make your reservation. Our initial order included refreshing drinks from the bar along with great crusty bread and excellent "Roasted red pepper soup". Very nicely done. We followed that with our entrees. I ordered the "Sesame Tuna" which was very nicely prepared. My wife and sister-in-law had the "Walleye" and they loved it. My brother enjoyed the "Shrimp Bucatini". I must say the kitchen did an exemplary job all evening... Kudos to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with excellent coffee and very nicely presented desserts. A marvelous finish to a marvelous evening at "Odd Fellows". I give them my highest recommendation and encourage you to give them a try. Came in for Christmas Eve dinner and had a great experience! Very small and intimate vibe and our server was very attentive and helpful as well. Started off with bread that came with a great garlic butter. Wish the bread had come out warm but it was good. I had a Caesar salad with shrimp for dinner which was great, filling but still light and the shrimp were fantastic, nice and big and very flavorful. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, fries and "onion rings" for the table. The Brussels were fantastic, probably my best bite of the night. I also really loved the fries, they had the perfect amount of salt which I always appreciate. The onions rings were very good, but I would call them more of onion straws so just be sure you know what you're getting if you grab those. Others at my table enjoyed the burger a lot, as well as the shrimp pasta. A lovely holiday experience overall! read more

Had a lovely date night here. Atmosphere is casual but sophisticated bistro. Food was very good. I had the tuna and my husband enjoyed the salad special (quinoa and kale) which was so good we have been recreating it at home. The asparagus with dill sauce was a standout for sure. The hot honey feta with everything seasoning was also worth mention. We did not have dessert but will definitely come back to try more menu items. read more

Remarkable service and food. Bianca is an excellent server; so attentive, kind and caring. Also met the owner who was equally as kind and gracious. The mussels were definitely the best I have ever had, anywhere. The broth they come in is so complex and utterly delicious; I could not get enough. The steak was cooked perfectly, the seared tuna as well. The shishito peppers were simple yet complex in flavor and arguably one of the stars of the meal. We had brunch in this cute place in the old Aurelia location. Very well appointed and the menu, while straightforward, was very well prepared and delicious. There was a village event that drove a large number of people in one big wave to the restaurant, but they handled it calmly and with grace as they called in reinforcements to deal with the volume. The food here is AMAZING! Great flavors for every dish. Good sizes for each entree. The curry muscles were so good I could have eaten the whole thing myself. One of my favorite date night spots! The ambiance and cocktails are fantastic. The shishito peppers are incredible, it's got an acidity to it that makes it very addicting. We went all out with a few entrees- the sesame crusted tuna, fish & chips, and veal chop. The tuna is perfectly cooked, it's on the rarer side which I love and served with these lovely crispy rice. I'm not a fan of wasabi but my fiancé liked the cream sauce a lot. The fish and chips were flaky and tender. And the veal chop is massive! It can easily be shared among 2 people. Really delicious. We ended the meal with a baked hot chocolate. We both are vanilla over chocolate people but this one really surprised us both! It's light and moist but still a little rich, and we loveee a dessert that's hot and served with a scoop of ice cream. The surrounding area is really cute. Almost reminds me of a little town center in hallmark shows haha. read more

You will need a reservation to dine here as there hours and dining area is limited. We started off with the corn crab chowder. That was excellent. The calamari and mussels were a very nice size and very tasty. The beef salad did not disappoint. It was absolutely exquisite. I will warn you that the 1/2 chicken is not really half of a chicken .. it's only the breast and comes with no sides, no rice or pasta or potatoes. It's pictured below. Although the tast is great.. it's not worth $28 for a piece of chicken. The beef short rib we had to send back as it was not cooked to our liking. The manager was understanding. The service was wonderful, although a little bit slow. A one page food menu, which I felt was a little limited for options, but had a lot of of your basics like salmon, a seafood dish, a vegan dish, a few beef dishes, chicken dish. There weren't a lot of things on the menu that I thought I really have to come back and try. The crab/cheese appetizer is good, but we were a party of two and it would be perfect for a party of four or five. Three or four bites of it would be perfect, not 8 to 10 bites. The shrimp bucatini was good with a generous shrimp portion and the. Tuna entree was very tasty although it had a little too much of a sweet sauce on the plate. Overall, I will return, but would like if they had a seasonal menu or at least changed up the menu or had special options from time to time. To me the biggest drawback was we were sitting just a few inches away from someone else and could hear their conversation and they could hear ours. Sometimes I would like a little more privacy and intimacy when I go out to dinner. read more

This was my first time visiting Odd Fellows, although it's been on my shortlist of places to try. A friend and I visited on a Friday evening, we had a reservation and were seated right away. We were approached by our server, and proceeded to order drinks and entrees. We received a basket of bread accompanied by a spread. It would have been nice to know what type of spread we received. It was tasty, but not quite sure what the ingredients were. Our entrees arrived a short time later. I ordered the roasted chicken, with mushrooms and onions, as my side. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes. My friend ordered the shrimp bucatini. The food was absolutely 5 stars, well prepared, nicely seasoned, and generously portioned. Where things took a turn... My friend and I were catching up, shortly after settling the bill, and finishing our drinks. I noticed an older gentleman, near the host stand, staring at us. It was unnerving. He was dressed casually, like a customer, so I was confused. He then walked by our table, and glared at us, as he walked by. A few moments later a busboy came by and started to clear the table, including our water and drinks, we literally had to grab our glasses, in order to finish. We got the hint that it was time to leave, obviously. As I stood to put on my coat, the older gentleman immediately rushed over to clear the table. My purse was still in the chair, while I tried to hurriedly put my coat on. The hostess then rushed over to further rush us out. There was NO ONE in the waiting area. We would have gladly moved to the bar area to finish our conversation and order more drinks, if someone had approached us appropriately, instead of glaring and walking back and forth, so rudely. I am a huge foodie, and prefer independently owned restaurants, with eclectic menus, and great food. I was SO looking forward to a good meal, and catching up with a dear friend. I have NEVER experienced this type of treatment, and for this reason, I will not return. No matter how good the food was, rude treatment is never acceptable. read more

The food, service and ambiance are all great. I especially love the half chicken breast. It's the perfect size for me and comes with a large order of french fries. They serve good cocktails and have a large selection of different brands. The only possible negative is the prices might be high for some budgets, other than that, make a reservation and enjoy some of the best food in the Falls. read more

Odd Fellows is a revival of Moxie, one of my favorite Cleveland restaurants ... and it delivers! We had the drunken mussels, charred shishito peppers, Caesar salad, Mac and cheese, and beet salad -- all were great. We will return! read more

I've decided to give odd fellows four stars instead of five, and I will tell you why. But first, let me tell you that the ambience and the service were great. No complaints there. And the restaurant was very clean as was the restroom and I appreciated that. Here's where the four stars come from. I ordered a salad. There wasn't enough lettuce. It was very overdressed and a little too spicy. Lettuce doesn't cost a lot. Give me a little bit more please. I understand a limited amount of protein. But, I left hungry--that's not ok. Also, the menu is very very small. With limited choices it's hard to find something that I can eat with certain dietary issues. Will I go back? I don't know yet. I'm not sure if they change the menu seasonally or not. I'll wait and see. read more

Why aren't there more reviews of this place yet? I know so many people who have visited and LOVED it, so I finally organized a Girls Night Out at Oddfellows. First off, if you know Chagrin Falls, you know that parking can be challenging. But Oddfellows has a HUGE advantage because there's on-street parking right in front and the big Heinens parking lot in back. And yes, there is a very obvious back door to the restaurant, giving you amazing access to free parking. I went last night with 6 friends, several of whom are extremely picky. We were seated at a perfectly sized squarish table in front, making it very easy for us to converse (we don't like being seated at long tables). We ordered the mussels, Bell & Evans chicken, salmon, tandori cauliflower, beet salad (with salmon added) and 2 had the shrimp bucatini And though my friends are notorious for sending food back, EVERYONE was pleased with their meal the first time around :-) I've got to say, we marveled over the shrimp bucatini. Not only were the shrimp HUGE, but there were 9 of them! Several friends vowed to order that dish next time. Our server, Bianca, was fabulous. She came back to the table frequently to refill water, and just was always visible and checking in on us (without being annoying at all). She was so personable! And when we got the checks (which they split for us as requested with no resistance), each one was delivered in a little hardcover book. What a cute touch! The pages of the book would've been blank, except guests were invited to write notes inside. We'll definitely be back, and maybe next time we'll save some room to try the baked hot chocolate dessert. read more

If you want to guarantee a seat at the bar, come in at 5:00 as I did. The bartender is both charming and knowledgeable on both food and drink. I had the most spectacular dish I have ever eaten, Shrimp Buccatini! The pasta was cooked perfectly! The sauce had the right amount of garlic to enhance the flavor! A friend and I went here January 2025 for lunch. We thought it was excellent! We shared three small plates. Calamari, sushi and mussels. We loved them all.
