I believe her name is Shannon and she's been the sweetest and most helpful both times and it's always a pleasure being helped by her! She's recommended the chocolate covered gummy bears and they are so amazing and that's what brought us back! Idk why the memory of this popped into my head today and it made me want to share our experience for some reason. It was back in 2022 me and my sister were getting out of the house walking with my very young niece and nephew in a stroller and we were in the clothing/antique looking shop that was a couple spaces down from this one. The lady in this shop wouldn't take our $100 bill because she assumed it was fake for some reason without examining it whatsoever, we could have used our card instead but decided to not buy anything from her because it honestly hurt our feelings so we left. As we were leaving she quickly picked up her phone to call someone, who I can only assumed was the lady in this candy shop because as we were approaching the doors the lady quickly rushed and closed both doors and locked it in our faces and it just hurt our feelings soo bad to be treated like that. They assumed we were criminals for no reason other than having a $100 bill. The kids were upset that they didn't get to go in the candy shop and spend their portion of the money on what they wanted. It was so sad trying to explain to them why the lady locked the door on us. Just a warning to people, don't try and spend cash in there because they might profile you and assume you're a criminal :/ read more

Hard to give anything less than five stars to a place that makes you happy with tons of sweets. This place carries vintage candies & treats, along with its own concoction of chocolates and caramel apples. Roxy's is the one to get. It's caramel apple dipped in chocolate and nuts. I LOVE this candy shop!!! They worked with me to create homemade chocolate dipped pretzels into edible fishing rods using gummy worms as the bait for my son's 1st birthday party! It was fish themed as he was turning O'Fishally ONE! They also created customized fish sugar cookies that not only looked cute but tasted REALLY good!! This is not your average sweet shop. Talk about old school candy shop feel. Wonderful store you feel like you're back in the 50's. The chocolate selection is very broad. They have all kids of sweets and breads. Such a cute place! Definitely becareful if you bring kids with you, it's a fun house of wants for them. But I got 2 candied apples cut. While we were waiting, my toddler nieces were checking out the store and saw the gumball machine with rubber balls. I didn't have any coins on me. The nice lady working there must've seen me check my bag or seen the girls eyeing the machine. As we were leaving, she offered the girls some rubber balls that weren't in the machine. The girls were so happy and the happiness carried into the car ride and lunch time before their naps. My little boy and I came to this shop today. The woman working there was so friendly and kind. She happily helped us pick out some chocolates and the hand made peanut butter cup she recommended was delicious! After we checked out she told my son he could pick out 2 pieces of candy from the bins for free. Oh and the jerky we got there was some of the best I've ever had. Let me say this, The Carmel apples at 'Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory' don't even come close to these. Don't even waste your time going there, just come here and let your taste buds be satisfied. I live in Highland and make the trip to Yucaipa just for these. You will not be disappointed! What a fun shop! Located right in the heart of uptown Yucaipa right across the street from the performing arts center. They couldn't ask for a better location. They have all the old school candies like abba zabba and big hunks to caramel apples and different chocolate treats. They even have a sugar free section. I was most impressed by their selection of jerky's. They have all the traditional meats but also carry exotic jerky's like ostrich, duck, kangaroo and rabbit just to name a few. Walked in hoping for ice cream but not ice cream..yet. But we were not disappointed. I got the last Carmel apple it was so good Carmel, chocolate, whites chocolate and almonds. YUM! We also got some hard sour chew balls different flavors all very good. They have an assortment of chocolate and old school candies. The customer service was great and personable as well.
