YUMMY PB FRO-YO! I absolutely love the peanut butter fro-yo here. It's the right amount of peanut butter and sweetness that makes the treat enjoyable. The French vanilla was a little weak, could use a tad more flavor. I would give this shop 5 stars, however the machines weren't totally working and the yogurt seemed to melt fast. Good thing it's so good that I finished everything quickly lol! The guy up front was super professional and nice. It's cool to get a greeting when you walk in and he said hello to everyone! Frugos is pretty relaxed and the kids who stopped by were very behaved. I had a good time! The store has plenty of natural light and solid vibes. The chocolate flavor was definitely the best I've tried. I can't tell you how much it was because it'll be different for different people since it's priced on the weight. The service was good, and the workers were so nice and fast when we were checking out. I liked this place because you have around 7 flavors to choose from and there was so many topping varieties and everything I got was good. We love this place. We've stopped doing ice cream shops and now this is our regular dessert spot. The young man that's always there is super friendly and is always cleaning. We've never been disappointed with the yogurt options or toppings. I tried a passion fruit tea with boba and it was amazing. I could drink one everyday if I wasn't worried about my health or wallet. I feel like when you have too many choices you freak out and end up getting something you think you wanted, but wish you went with your original choice! The prices have gone up a lot. They still do not have sample cups, even though other shops have started offering them again. Now onto the frozen yogurt.... I had coconut. It was the slushiest, unflavorful yogurt I have ever had. It tasted like they watered down the flavor to stretch it further. It did not have a yogurt consistency nor was it creamy. It did not taste at all like coconut. It was not just that flavor. My husband had the chocolate and my son the dole whip. Both were essentially flavorless with more of a slushy consistency. I love Frugos Yogurt. We normally go to the one in yucaipa but we're in Beaumont so we said let's try this one. I got the peanut butter yogurt and after a few bites I was disgusted by the sour taste of the yogurt. I went back inside and told the lady at the counter and she maybe it seem like it was fine to swap out. When I got to the cash register to get another snoop the lady says that she will give me a 15% discount. What? A discount? I proceeded to say that your product was bad and she then goes on to say that your product was bad, don't you want to make it right? She was puzzled and so was I. I proceeded to just hand back the yogurt and say, thank you. Very disappointed with the customer service. Too bad. I guess I'll stick with Yucaipa. read more
