Oh man I am so glad my sister and I finally tried this place!! We've seen it many times whilst eating at White Rabbit and we decided to walk in and just see what it was all about! First off Carolyn is amazing!!! We talked to her the whole time and she recommended certain things and gave us a bunch of free samples! Her chocolates are amazing!! I've gone back twice since then! Called a day before Valentine's Day (I know I shouldn't have waited last minute) but lady on phone said she has customers (which is a polite way of hanging up on me) and she's sold out and to call next year earlier. I tried calling yesterday which was a Monday but they were closed for some reason so I made somewhat of an attempt to order earlier). I do give her credit because she had a nice tone but shouldn't an owner of a chocolate shop KNOW that orders increase near holidays and Valentine's Day etc? Cant they increase production to meet demand? I have never been to this store before but I don't think I'll be back. I'd rather watch you tube videos and make my own chocolate or go to sees candies because they never sell out. Is it my job to order earlier or is it the owner's job to make more chocolate when they know a holiday is coming up? Who's REALLY at fault? Also it would have been nice for her to say "we're sold out of the kind you asked about but here's what we have left" but she plain said "we're sold out call earlier next year. I have an idea. Maybe I'll call today to order for next year. It'll be 366 days early but at least they'll have chocolates to sell me. By the way, El Torito doesn't sell out of Mexican food a day before cinco de mayo. Also, I have always found butterball turkeys and honey baked ham a day before thanksgiving. Now I have to deal with a divorce because my wife won't have her chocolates. Thanks a bunch. They should change the name to "Chocolates by Carolyn (except for holidays)". I saw this place and I decided to pick up some chocolate for my dad. It's probably one of the cutest little stores I've seen, but that's besides the point. This is some good chocolate. I am the biggest chocolate lover, and I would way prefer this over Hershey's, KitKat, Reese's, any of my favorite chocolate. All of her chocolate is homemade, and there's a big variety to choose from. I was expecting it to be very expensive, but the prices are actually very reasonable. I asked her what her most popular item was, and she started listing all of them, so you really can't go wrong. Everything is good! Not only is it delicious, but the owner was so kind. I told her these chocolates were for my dad because it was his birthday, so she wrapped my box with an adorable ribbon and even let me have a piece of chocolate to try. I can't believe this place has been open for 8 years and I have never heard of it. It definitely deserves more hype. I'll definitely be coming back!!! read more

Without a doubt the worst candy I've ever tasted...I don't believe for one minute these are homemade chocolates, but if I'm wrong, then they are made with the lowest quality ingredients imaginable. I purchased almost $20 worth of treats and myself and (2) friends sampled them. We all agreed that both the dark and milk chocolates to put it mildly were awful. The chocolate was waxy in both taste and appearance and it's aroma reminded me of the cheap waxy texture of the cheapest chocolate bunny rabbits that are sold during Easter. I don't really think it's chocolate. Maybe some form of Cacao? I really felt ripped off! read more
