He saw we were trying to decide what dishes to try, and recommended the goat with rice. We went with his goat with rice recommendation and a dish call Kay Kay. However, when I was ordering at the register, there was so many flies just flying around the cashier guy and his register. Behind the serving counter, it is all boarded up so you can't see the workers cooking or how clean it is behind the counter divider. I went to the bathroom and I noticed a small random unlabeled bucket/small open bottle by the toilet that had liquid in it, which I honestly don't even know what it is. With the flies and the bathroom, I really questioned the entire restaurant's cleanliness. I told myself while I was eating that I wouldn't be surprised if I got food poisoning from here. The next day came and I actually suffered food poisoning. I don't want to knock down a hard working small family restaurant. I genuinely think their food is delicious, and the people are so kind. I already want to go back to dine-in sometime and I'm interested in their weekend buffet. We ordered takeout on a Tuesday for dinner and chose Medium spice for everything. I got the Butter Chicken, and I think it was the best Butter Chicken I've ever had. For the price, I was hoping the portion would be just slightly larger, but taste-wise, it was absolutely amazing. We also ordered the Wet Chicken 65 and really enjoyed that as well. The portion size was pretty decent for this. I would order it again, but I'm also very interested in trying the Chicken 555 next time. My wife got the Szechuan Noodles with Chicken and liked them. I tried some and liked them too. The noodles come in a great sized portion. My Butter Chicken came with rice, but I had to order Garlic Naan separately for an extra $4.50. The Garlic Naan was fantastic, but I was disappointed by how little came with the order for almost $5. Next time, I would be tempted to order two, but then the price starts increasing pretty dramatically. Basically, if you're ordering more than one curry style dish, you'll probably need multiple orders of Garlic Naan unless you're fine eating everything with rice or on its own. During the week, it seems like the restaurant doesn't open until 5 pm. I get it... it's probably slow between lunch hour and 5pm. But it was a little frustrating because we like to pick up takeout shortly after work. When I tried placing the order around 4:45, the earliest available pickup time wasn't until 5:30pm. I really wish they allowed customers to schedule online orders for pickup at 5pm or even 5:15. They do not charge a service fee, which is a big deal for restaurants in 2026. There was no credit card fee either. That also contributed to why I rounded the rating up to five stars. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this place. It will likely become our new regular Indian unless we want to eat earlier and don't want to wait until 5:30.
