The dentist told me that she saw a shadow in the root of that tooth. She said it was a cavity. She claimed that the only solution was to extract the tooth and do an implant. They just conveniently have an implant specialist in the same office that sees patients once a month. I said sure, I can talk to the specialist and see if it's even necessary to do implant at all. As I was trying to make an appointment with the specialist, I was told that I had to have an MRI for my teeth before I could even see the specialist. And they were really trying to sell the implant to me. At that point, I grew suspicious so I just left. Fast forward, I went to a different dentist with the X-ray that was taken previously. This new dentist said there's nothing wrong with my teeth in the X-ray. Out of precaution, he took a new X-ray for the mobile tooth. Again, nothing wrong. Yep, I was being defrauded. So, do not come here if you don't want to lose a completely perfect tooth and replace it with an implant that you never needed.

I had a really subtle but annoying tooth sensitivity, and she went way above and beyond to figure it out. She took her time looking at my x-rays and tested different teeth using a bunch of methods. She eventually hypothesized that a slight cavity had grown right underneath an old filling. She fixed it up, and the sensitivity is completely gone! I travel from NorCal to see the team at Art of Dentistry because I know they care about my dental health, actually, more than i do. When I CONSISTENTLY floss daily, my cleanings are a painless 15-20 minute miracle. When i slack off, the cleanings are longer,causes sensitivity and require intervention.
