I was a die hard anti-odyssey pizza customer due to a very poorly made pizza a couple of years ago. I vowed to never return and based on the pizza I had received, i believe that Little Caesars Pizza has a much better offering. The place was being run like they were just learning how to operate a pizza joint. Then recently, a friend brought me a rib-eye steak sandwich. Though it tasted good, it didn't seem very filling. Maybe it was the size of the sandwich. The amount of meat in the sandwich was sufficient but I could have eaten a little bit more. I learned that they offer a slightly larger sandwich, so that'll be what I'd choose, since it seems Odyseey Pizza does a far better job on their sandwiches than their pizzas. read more

We love this place! It's a local honey hole that's been around for a long time! My mom and aunt love it because it reminds them so much about a pizza place they used to eat at as kids just outside of Chicago. My husband and I eat here often. We did a pick up order recently when visiting my family in Cocoa. Food first: we ordered 2 large pizzas and a spaghetti. The pizzas came out hot and fresh. I didn't like that the crust was a little soft/squishy in the center of both pizzas, but I crisped my slices in a cast iron pan when I got home and thought it tasted fine. I didn't try the spaghetti but family said it was good. Pricing was very fair for what you get, especially given the size of the pizza. Service was fine. Placing a pickup order was easy and the estimated time to prepare our order was accurate. Team was relatively friendly when we got there. With that, I'm glad we didn't plan to dine in. The building itself looks really sketchy from the outside, and there were some unsavory characters lingering about the parking area. I thought to myself that it was a good thing I went with my husband to pick up the order. The inside of the restaurant was kinda dingy/dark, in need of some repair, and didn't look particularly clean. I tried not to think about that when we finally got home and ate the food :) read more

The recipes and the food have stayed the same ever since. The owners have stayed true to the OG owners. It's all made in house. This is old school pizza joint stuff. Veggies are sliced fresh in house. Sausage, meatballs, seasoned ground beef are top notch, in house made. Subs are made fresh to order. The Steak and Cheese and Italian are most popular. Their pizza toppings are applied VERY liberally. Their nothing like the crappy chains. The meat lovers and Special are are so thick with toppings, you won't believe it. Ordering extra anything is overkill. Seriously!!! Try a normal portion first before you think it necessary to add more. I assure you they do not skimp on ANYTHING!! Odyssey has been around for ages!!! I remember skipping high school(cocoa high) and coming here for lunch(I do not recommend this lol). Still taste the same! Back then we would get the subs. Today my job expensed lunch for me so I decided on pizza and of course I had to play hookie and stop on in to Odyssey. They are running lunch specials. The large Pepperoni pizza would have cost me $10.99 I belive but i always have to have their sausage. I love the type of sausage they carry. Always fresh ingredients. Staff always friendly. Worth the wait time. I order ahead if I can, then head on over. I want that pizza hot by the time I get home. Never want it sitting there when I walk in the door. Lol. YES, YES, YES!!!! I have been searching for a good pizza in Florida since I first moved here in 2007. I've tried dozens of places, but nothing has come close to a true Greek style New England pizza. A pizza with a crazy good crust- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a light olive oil/buttery flavor, and just the right amount of cheese bubbling and slightly browned at the top near the crust, and red sauce with a light oregano flavor. Well, tonight I finally found THE place!!! This is absolutely the best pizza I have had in Florida and even some of the best pizza I have ever had. This place has clearly been around for a long time and the pizza recipe is simply perfect. Tonight we did take out for a large 2 topping pizza with pepperoni and bacon $11.99 including tax). The toppings were plentiful and fresh. The pepperoni was a little cooked and curled on the edges, which is perfect. The cheese had some browning on top, which again was perfect. I shudder to think what having this place 5 miles down the road is going to do to my diet. I'm writing this review currently stuffed from 2 slices of pizza, but I'm already thinking about having more as soon as I can fit it in my stomach. That's how good this place is. Easily one of the filthiest restaurants I've ever eaten at, and I'm including spots I visited on deployments to Third World countries. Every table was spackled with food debris. The floor had piles of napkins and food bits. The counters and kitchen? Basically as dirty as the floor. Recently moved to Cocoa from Central Wisconsin. I'm an avid pizza lover....was really struggling to find a really good thin crust pizza. Odyssey kept popping up on my Yelp app every time I searched for pizza...thought I would give it a try.... just got a standard Pepperoni and Sausage pizza.... wow it is pretty darn good!!! Even though the crust was not a Wisconsin thin (cracker style) it was really tasty and the crust has a really nice crunch to it, almost like a bread stick. The sauce had a really good flavor that will take me getting another pizza or two to fully describe. For now I'll go with it was robust with a touch of sweet. Toppings were pretty standard....not quite used to the sliced sausage but it is growing on me. Overall I was very pleased with the quality and flavor at a reasonable price....I believe the 14" 2 topping was on special for 11.99. I will be back!!!! read more

When I told people I moved to this neighborhood this was the first thing that came out of their mouth was to come to odyssey pizza! I bought subs for several years before having there to dive for pizza. And there's only one pizza that I like. I do not like pizza except from "the hut". I guess I can add this restaurant as far as eating pizza. But I still hate pizza. Trust me I can walk from my house which means it may be out of the way for most of my contacts, but you will find it is well worth the trip and the experience. Great place to stop and pick up a pizza and/or a sandwich. I went there once and the moment I finished my meatball sub, I was hooked. I needed to go back the next day and get a second meatball sub because it was so Amazing. The meatballs were excellent with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Okay as far as decor and ambiance not much to look at. The people are great and the food is consistently good. Prices are reasonable and they've been around for 30 plus years. Odyssey special is on point! Kids love love love the cheese pizzas. I've been going here since the 90s and I move from the area in 2005 but still manage to get back there regularly. They hot and cold subs are good too. There are daily specials and again the food is handmade right in front of you so there's that. If you're looking for a different style of pizza and a relaxed atmosphere was good service I highly recommend. read more

I have been in this area for about two months now and have been on the hunt for my favorite local pizza joint. I can say now, I have found it. The service is amazing. As busy as they were back there, running around, making pizzas, taking orders, they took my order and then asked if there was anything else they could do like there was nothing else going on.
