I was a little hesitant to try this place because of some reviews, but I'm so glad we did. The pizza was really so delicious. We ordered a margarita pizza and a cheese pizza. Massive pies. Seriously. The price makes total sense, I don't realize how big it was going to be. The flavors were on point, cooked to perfection. The staff were all very nice people too. They were quite busy but that just made me confident we chose the right place. Ordered take out and waited about 20 minutes which was fine. Could have called it in if we had thought about it sooner. There's some seating inside too if you wanted to sit and eat. They have beer and dessert too, as well as other food like calzones and spaghetti. I would eat here again. read more

We were on our way home to South Florida from Jacksonville, Florida on I-95. We checked Yelp for a Vegan restaurant near us. Wallah! Humpavelli's Pizza, on our way. You go up to the counter and order. David was very helpful explaining the vegan options. We chose to split a calzone with mushrooms and vegan cheese (Diya brand). We would have liked the pizza slice combo special, with a drink and salad, they do NOT offer vegan pizza by the slice. Oh well. Our calzone was served in an aluminum to-go container. The waitress gave us 2 paper plates and silverware. It was super hard to cut the calzone on a paper plate and it tore up the paper and leaked through the plate. The calzone was delicious and enough for two. The restaurant resembles a NY style pizzeria with lots of signs and specials. The beverage bar is self-serve. I am not sure that if I lived in the area that this would be my go-to restaurant. For a quick hot, vegan meal, right off the highway, Humpavelli's did the trick. read more

Grandson went along for pick up and loved watching the hand tossing of the 24 inch pizzas. Very impressed! Besides its proximity to Kennedy Space Center, one month ago, I would have had no rational reason to exit I-95 at Titusville. That was until we drove up to Humpavelli's Pizza off State Road 50. A few of the locals (by the way, some of the nicest people we've met across our amber waves of swampland Florida) had mentioned this place when we asked where we could get a decent slice in town. Granted, they were not visibly emphatic about the quality of the slice, in fact, their lack of uncommitted enthusiasm made me brace for mediocrity. And hey, it's not like the whole of Titusville has proportionally as many pizza places as any given square block between 7th and 8th of Midtown Manhattan. But I'll be damned if their "New York Style Pizza" doesn't out-New York any New York pizza spot I've been to (with two possible exceptions). Thin crust that's on the plumper side of thin, but with a nice and crackly underside, rich tomato sauce, perfect cheese to sauce ratio, and a pretty generous helping of pepperoni. A very tangy wedge that probably needed no dressing at all (we have a bad habit of letting gravity have its way with oregano, parm and crushed red pepper). But, the full flavor of the slice cut right through that holy condimental trinity. The crust edge could have been bubblier, but for the flatter variety, it was still light and airy. And that's OK with me. And all this for the Titusvilly low price of $3.75 before 4pm. Cheese slices are $3 before 4pm. I'd put this slice up against any NY wedge any day, or for that matter, against any of our favorite South Florida staples. Hell, I'd consider putting up Humpavelli's Pizza house against a visit to the NASA Vehicle Assembly Building. Or better yet, eat it in the car on your way there. read more

You can either get it as a whole pizza or by the slice, which is nice as a lot of places don't offer pizza by the slice here in Florida. When I moved to Florida, I was shocked and dismayed to find that not only was good pizza nor available on every corner, but it was an ordeal to find good pizza here in the Sunshine State. When you found good pizza, you wanted to sing to the Heavens in celebration. Well, today I did indeed sing to the Heavens when I stopped by Humpavelli's Pizzeriain Titusville to grab a quick lunch. I must say that this pizza is pretty stellar and worthy of praise. For starters, the pizza had a great crust. Add to that a good sauce, cheese on a perfect blend of spices are you have a pretty winning combination. Service was extremely friendly and the slices were $2.50 each. Truly not bad. Especially when the pizza is just good. Another benefit is that this place is about five minutes off of Interstate 95, so if you are traveling down that Highway, as I was, it is a convenient and quick stop for lunch. The Mr. And I use to really love this place a lot! Before I moved here, every trip I made to Florida, specifically Titusville, I'd always make sure that I had to get Humpavelli's. It always hit the spot. The last 2 times, it missed the mark across the board. We got 2 lunch specials, 2 meat lovers (2 extremely large slices), garlic knots, and a salad. It came with 2 beverages. We were disappointed in the pizza because it didn't taste fresh. When they threw the slices in the oven to bake so it was nice and hot when we picked it up. It was burnt. Some of the meat pieces looked overly dried and the crust and bottom of the pizza was burnt. The salad wasn't as fresh. There were some browning on some of the pieces. We had to wait a little longer (not too much) because the girl told us that the knots got burnt. We saw her discard the burnt knots and she threw a new one in there. So we waited for that. No big deal. I didn't realize that we had to ask for parm cheese and ranch prior to paying as those are added in extras. I was willing to pay for the extras no big deal. The girl was nice enough to give it to me for my troubles. That was nice of her. Overall, lately the past 2 times we've ordered pizza from here (a whole pie) and these 2 lunch specials. We felt that the quality and freshness of the ingredients went down. We are truly disappointed. Hopefully they'll step it up. We would hate to stop getting pies from here and try to find a different place. read more

Overall this place is a 4.5 star establishment, however their Pizza flavor wise is a 3.5. Make no mistake their pizza is huge! The make 24" pies! The sauce was above average (maybe too much black pepper is what I tasted/some people like that/not me) and they cheese quality was above average. The cheese calzone was good on flavor but I'm Ny sure that was Ricotta cheese in it. The place was nonstop busy, which is always a good sign.
