I have overlooked this place for a lot of years. People have raved about it, but honestly, I was turned off by the no-frills appearance from the outside. We recently started going to the movies and decided to order takeout after we watched our movie. Anyway, my bad--because this place is the real deal for pizza. We ordered an extra-large cheese pizza online for pickup. It was ready right on time, and the staff was friendly when we arrived for our take away. From the very first bite, I knew what all the hype was about. The crust had that perfect NY-style texture--thin, foldable, with just the right amount of crisp and chew. The cheese? Absolute perfection. It stayed put and no sliding off after the first bite, which is a huge win in my book. This isn't a fine dining spot by any stretch, and if I were rating based on ambiance alone, the score might have been lower. But for takeout or casual pizza cravings? This place definitely was on point. I've tried a few other places around Melbourne area that came close, to my standards, but this one exceeds expectations. I normally love this place. This afternoon I ordered the Chicken Francese which I order when I get takeout from here. I know how to make it but would rather not have to, solely for me. I want to love this more because the pizza is so good but the service and atmosphere is not! Went here to order to-go and there isn't a counter if you want to quickly put in an order to buy a slice. I usually end up awkwardly standing in the middle of the entrance way and have to reach around people sitting at the bar if I want to pay. I think the area could be improved if they cleared out some bar stools and make space for a pickup counter. Also when I got my pizza to go they didn't heat up my pizza in the oven so when I took it outside to eat it was cold. read more

A new location - same great food. This restaurant used to be located to the north and Google still has them located at the old address so be aware that they are located next to the Publix in Satellite Beach. Their location is smaller than their previous location. There are about 3 4-person tables about 3 4-person booths and some stools at the bar. I was told that they are planning to add outside seating soon when the shopping center is finished with the improvements. They can be busy depending on the time due to their proximity to the school. There is plenty of parking. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. The menu had a good selection of Italian choices ranging from pizza to sandwiches. We ordered the bruschetta and a 16" pizza. The bruschetta came out quickly and was delicious. There was enough of it for us each to have a large portion and leave enough to bring home. The pizza was a meat lover's and came out in about 15 minutes. Like the bruschetta, there was plenty of food for both of us and lots left over. Prices are reasonable for the current economy and the quality of food. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to my fellow travelers. read more

I had their pizza for the first time yesterday at work. Nice size slices, flavorful sauce & toppings. Ingredients tasted fresh. We had delivery so I'm not sure how clean the establishment is. We had visited another Melbourne area location of this chain, and had a great dinner, so when long-lost friends wanted to meet up later in our work-stay, we suggested the Bizzarros at Satellite Bch. close to their hotel. We also were specifically looking for restaurants open until at least 10pm, as we were all coming off of our own jobs, and needed time to tidy up. Upon arrival, we noticed the sign on the door that closing time was 9pm. It was just after 8, but the server said they were aware of the time posted online, and we were "fine". I'm not sure what they meant by "fine," but they proceeded to give the most hurried, slapdash service. Not exactly rude, but certainly not hospitable. The food was ok, not the great meal we'd had at the other location. For instance, the stromboli was much smaller, and not as tasty. One of the party asked for a recommendation on the type of pasta to go with a certain sauce, the server gave their opinion (spaghetti) which was accepted, but when the plate arrived, it was the same pasta our 2 other diners had ordered. Not a big deal, but another disappointment. As we drove back to our hotel, we passed another Bizzarros further south on A1A. This location was obviously open, so perhaps they don't all keep the same hours. It would be nice if they could inform Yelp of this. So the 2 star review for rushing us through our meal, and serving mediocre food. When we showed up at 8:10, it would have been nice of the staff to suggest the other location. read more

The chef sat with us and went over the menu and made recommendations based on our tastes.. He was excited that 40+ years ago my wife and met in an Italian restaurant and were looking for our favorite dishes. She ordered veal Marsala and I got veal Cardinale. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo, salad with the house made balsamic vinaigrette, and the Focaccia bread was amazing. What a lovely dining experience. Our go to place anytime we come to visit family. The restaurant has a friendly family feel to it. We have a young daughter and it is nice to find restaurants that do not seem irritated to have kids present. The staff has never made us feel unwelcomed, even during the few times where she was tired and a bit fussy. We always get the meat pizza. I am usually one to not eat the top edge of the crust, most places it just has no flavor. Not here, the crust has a ton of flavor. I walked in and I was instantly treated like family. I loved every moment of my dinner tonight. The personal care I received was exemplary. Amber, my server, and Joseph Jr., the Chef, were particularly my favorite people of the night. First time at Bizzarro's and I have heard good things about the dinners at this particular location. I sat down but didn't quite know what to order. That is a problem for a 315 lb guy. So I asked Amber to choose something and bring it over. My only input was that I wanted a dinner item and I was hungry! Amber went into the open kitchen spoke with the Chef. Together they put together a exquisitely delicious meal. For starters a salad. I have to admit it was more Greek influenced than Italian but it was fresh, crisp and well decorated. Then came out the caprese salad, hand delivered by the Chef. As you can see in the pictures, the Chef spared no detail. Honestly think he cut every slice of cheese and tomato seconds before placing on the plate. Again pure bliss. The Olive oil had a slight bitterness which indicated it was still fresh and had not been oxidizing in the kitchen. As I was enjoying the caprese salad the Chef sent out the garlic bread knots. The bread had a great flavor and the after pulling it apart you could see the airy inside. Finally the Chef brought out the main meal. The Linguini Fradivolo RED with a white wine reduction. Clams, oysters, shrimp, squid and calamari served over a House Linguini made earlier in the morning topped with a white wine reduction. I truly don't know if what I got is what is on the menu but I didn't care. As you can see in the picture Chef Joseph is a great cook and dishes his food in a pristine and classy manner. Chef Joseph came out and spoke with briefly during my meal. He earned my respect and my patronage. Amber did a great job as well, she took care of me without over doing it. It was enough to enjoy my meal but also enough to know if I needed anything she was there. Interestingly enough the meal cost less than what I expected. So the whole night was full of wonderful surprises. read more

Three maskless people standing right in front of the door so I politely say "excuse me guys." which is where dude takes it upon himself to open the door for us while simultaneously standing right by it so we can't avoid him and to top it off dude fake coughs at/on us. My boyfriend thinks dude was an employee there, but we can't verify as we didn't ask. Cherry on top is going through all that just to spend 14$ for mediocre fettuccine Alfredo with hard, dry garlic knots & a side salad reeking of old onion. This pandemic is already hard enough but to have someone think it's funny to cough on people who didn't provoke them in the slightest, for what? For wearing masks to enter a public building?
