So this place is on the corner of a ghost town of what used to be a strip mall like building. Despite that, it is small and quaint inside with plenty of items to choose from on their menu. I'm a fan of the Hibachi plates. The only takeaway is that they still treat the place a little like it is in an abandoned area, so you have some of their boxes and things in the hallway right outside the restrooms. The bathrooms are very simple, but they aren't deplorable to where you can't use them. The service was very kind and pleasant. He tried his best to be helpful and handled everything with a smile. Young man helping me at the service counter is courteous & friendly. Hibachi steak and fried rice is good. The Sushi was disgusting. It smelled bad as soon as I opened the container. The salmon and tuna(was it even real salmon/tuna ?! ) used in my sushi was poor quality & should have been thrown out by the restaurant many days ago. The spicy mayo tasted like it had yogurt in it. I took 2 bites and I immediately regretted it. I discarded the rest & I hope that I do not get food poisoning. DO NOT GET SUSHI from here!! read more

I have been avoiding this fast Japanese place because of lack luster reviews. I wish I had come here sooner! Granted, the dining area isn't the most appealing but I got my crunchy shrimp rolls to go. Alright, I don't know what it is about this place but I love it. Maybe it's the friendly service, the reasonable prices, or the large portions when it comes to the food, but it is one of my go-to. Its location is very convenient, being close to one of the most residential areas of Meridian. Along with that, I've been going here so often they know what I like with my orders. Their food really is very good, with the rice being seasoned very well and the sauces being applied just right. OEC might not be a culinary master house that deserves to send out invitations to Emeril and Bobby Flay, but it's an undeniably enjoyable, fun restaurant that I think everyone will find something to enjoy about. read more

This place was pretty good. I can't speak to eating in the restaurant or the customer service because we had it delivered. It was very quick service, the food came to us within 30 minutes. We had vegetable lo mein, egg rolls and orange chicken. It wasn't super greasy and it all tasted great. read more

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is always delicious, hot and fresh. The service is friendly, prompt and professional. They include everything that you've asked for and some extra. First time to stop and eat (well we didn't even get that far) at this restaurant ...the young man at the register looked all of 14 and was so rude taking our order that I had to leave before I started voicing my opinion of him and his customer service ... if I could give it less than 1 star I would .... they need to get him off the register or they won't have a business ! read more

Great food for a much cheaper price than usual hibachi restaurants. The young man at the register took my order quickly and was helpful. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the relatively small dining area. I normally don't rate/review restaurants but some ignorant person gave this place a bad rating and that simply isn't so. It's a Good place to eat. read more
