The food here.. is underwhelming. I ordered the Philadelphia roll, which tasted like rice and cream cheese with a hint of smoke and probably shouldn't be eaten without soy sauce. I also ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi, which only tasted like teriyaki sauce. Seriously, without the sauce I was getting no flavor from this dish. Carrots were overcooked, and really had no business being in there. Wife had the chicken and steak hibachi. Same thing. Didn't taste like anything. Like, the food tasted ok. But it wasn't actually Japanese food. Just Japanese like ingredients thrown together. And the house salad is iceberg lettuce. read more

Loveeeee this place! Fried rice and wontons paired with pink sauce are the golden ticket items to get.

Not too happy with the lack of customer service and unfriendly employees. Simple Request for pink sauce for my to go order when they hadn't put any in the bag and they wanted to charge me. This has happened several times. read more

If you complain about fast food sushi takeout, chill. This place is by no means fine dining. But they also by no means pretend to be! Their tuna rolls are $4 for crying out loud. However, between all of the Asian restaurants around, their fried rice and "hibachi" is the best bang for your buck out there. It is actually surprisingly good, and their fried rice is better than Sake (which I find in incomprehensibly bad, for what that's worth). As far as inexpensive Asian takeout goes, this place is 5 stars. read more

Not impressed and won't be back. Ordered a shrimp tempura roll and chicken and shrimp habachi to go. Shrimp tempura roll was bland and warm. Habachi chicken had been chopped. None of it was good. Ate a few bites and was done. An hour a half later I felt overly full and just sick. Even had a headache as the hours progressed. Can only assume the food is high in MSG. On a positive note the service was good, wait time was short and the sweet tea was excellent. I won't be back though. read more

It's cheap but you get what you pay. The sushi rolls were completely disappointing. The vegetable roll was just lettuce, cucumber and carrots. Tempura shrimp was overcooked and lacked flavor. The spider roll contained maybe a quarter of a soft shell crab and if the caterpillar roll had eel I couldn't find any. The rolls were small and contained too much rice which was used as a filler. You are better off going somewhere else for sushi and pay the extra two buck for a more satisfying meal. read more

Decent Japanese express... but not even the best in town. This place takes longer than similar restaurants, and it's prices are a bit high. The food, though, is pretty good, although lacking a little in the flavor I would desire. It's seating is nice, with open, sunny windows in a small, cozy room. Not too bad experience, but I'd recommend the similar one on North Hills. read more

Food is pretty good only reason for 4 stars is because the chefs sometimes give really fatty pieces of steak in the steak and rice plate. That usually ruins my experience although it's not every time I guess it just depends on the cook that day. read more

This is the best fast food Hibachi and Seafood place in town! Excellent food, large portions, and exceptional service. The always have a line so call ahead as everyone wants to eat here. I am constantly coming back to order the steak and shrimp fried rice as well as the tornado roll. I couldn't recommend them more highly! read more

My friend and I went to check out this new sushi place, Oishi and let me tell you, she sure is! We were super excited that there is something besides Sake Sushi -- don't get me wrong, Sake Sushi is AMAZING, but it's nice to be able to get an entire Shrimp Hibachi for $10! They have some great rolls also. You can't beat the price! Staff is super friendly and courteous, but don't go looking for Saporo because I'm pretty sure they don't have it (unless I was blinded by the $10 hibachi grill). Dragon roll was a big disappointment! Too much rice and topping was a misc. mess that was disgusting! Combo meal with steak, shrimps, & chicken was too dry!! Fried Rice & tempura shrimp was a little better. This would be the first and last time we will venture to this restaurant read more

I so love quick Japanese that tastes great! Because it is close to the house we checked it out. Almost as great as Fuji in southeast GA. Great taste large portion right price. Good as Saki Sushi for Hibachi but cheaper, larger portion and better service! Love it! read more
