Theirs on right almost 1/4" wider than bar at bottom of shade which is space between windows
    Kevin M.

Worst service!!! For nine month have been dealing with them and 3 times have sent wrong size shades. Same exact wrong size shade every time. They have one of my originals I have the other so it is obvious that the size is wrong and doesn't fit between my Pella windows. Owner tells me I don't understand the pleat sizing. Look at the photos below and judge for yourself. I concur with the other reviews that they say they call back (we're home 95% of the time these days) but never get a call and their policy is to not leave a message so you don't know if they really call or not. Don't respond to email either. This is my first time ever commenting about any service on Yelp or any other platform, that's how bad the experience has been.

Good pleats vs defective material in last order
    Bert B.

OEM blinds was our supplier for 1 inch pleated privacy liner fabric until they have recently told us they are "closing our account" and not promising to replace thousands of dollars in defective fabric they sold us earlier this year. We were extremely patient though months of excuses and "reasons" why they couldn't make the new fabric. What started out as a "we'll ship you new stuff at our expense and make it good" once we get the machine fixed (and Covid closure ends), became a litany of excuses or reasons why they couldn't ship the new material for 2 more weeks, or next week, or Monday... stretching into months. Then they suddenly changed tone and we last got a screaming owner offering no assurances that they even have the good product available for exchange or will refund our money. All we want is our money back or replacement product that is actually what we ordered (not randomly sized pleated and creased material). Looks like we will be dropping off the defective material and hoping they have a change of heart and make things right, before we see them in court. Sad when a company won't stand behind their work or word and how they choose to treat other businesses or people. Beware of what this company says and GET THINGS IN WRITING! They promise the world on the phone or have a reason why the problem is someone else's to deal with - but our experience is that phone calls and E-mails aren't returned are promised when there is a problem to solve.

    My returned under warranty shade.

Sadly, it was the Corona virus and my need for fabric to make masks ( to donate ) which finally introduced me to this sweet lady and her successful shop. The place is wall to wall with quality quilting grade fabrics and associated trims and products. She is so helpful and energetic. The ladies shopping seemed very engaged and interactive with her and finding lots in her store as well. I found everything I needed for sure. Lots and lots of beautiful fabric. Highly recommend this hometown favorite.

Nice fabrics, patterns & books, The store samples give you great ideas in case you didn't arrive with any of your own. There were some hexagonal table runner & candle mat sets hanging on one wall. (See my photos.) Fabric from Moda and other high-quality manufacturers. Fat quarter bundles are made up and ready to grab for projects. They come with free quilt patterns put together by the store. The really special thing about this store is all the ribbon and trim. There are hair bows already made up and for sale, or you can buy some of the ribbons and make your own. Bring your little girl here and she'll pick out something beautiful to tie back her hair. Be sure to see my photos, and check out the little snap purses made from the Offray ombre ribbon roses. But…read morefinally, enough was enough, and as I commit to sewing more and delving into the world of quilting, I decided to source all my fabric from places other than Joanns, opting instead to explore the small fabric stores in my area, and what a great decision that was! I was able to discover so many new favorites, 2nd Street Quilt Shop being one of them, and source so many gorgeous, fresh & new designs I had never seen before! It has truly renewed my interest in sewing, and I'm truly excited to embark on this new quest in quilting! Fabric Affair appears to be a newer business, as their store sign also has "now open" directly underneath it! I can't tell you how many times I have driven down Livernois not realizing that this was here. The building is very unassuming from the road, just a black & grey square of a building, but if you love sewing and quilting and are in need of any sewing-related items, whether it be fabric, thread, or something else, I highly encourage you to stop by! The interior space of this place completely blew me away and was completely not what I expected from seeing the outside. You can definitely tell it's nice & new. The floors and entire space is so well organized! The fabric is sorted by color and by themes, if any. It's just a Type A, organized, sewing-lover's paradise! They also do classes here too it seems! I was mainly here for fabric though, so I got down to business searching through all their rows and rows of fabric. Everything being color coordinated, mainly in one spot, really helped me out though, as I was going for a specific part of the color palette. I was able to efficiently shop through this space, and the employees were so helpful, stopping by to see if I needed any assistance and grabbing me a fabric cart without me even asking for one. I love when they anticipate needs, and can I just say this fabric cart is ADORABLE?! I had never used one before, and it just makes the shopping experience all that more fun! I love Fabric Affair! I found so many new & unique fabrics here that I can't wait to incorporate into future sewing and quilting projects! All the workers were so friendly, and it was just the best experience all in all here. I can't wait to come back soon! :)
