For my running & walking shoes, I wear Brooks or Asics. I don't believe those brands are available here, but the store Elite Feet has them and they're easy to find online too. For summer shoes and special occasion shoes I like Foot Spot's selection the best. They have brands like Vionic, Tape, Wolky, and Finn, to name just a few. Most of them are still pretty to look at and not screaming 'I have problem feet that are hard to fit so I have to wear these butt ugly shoes' like used to be the case. There are many choices for men & women here. You probably won't find anything less than $60 and they can go upwards of $200 or more, but they do have a sale room filled with lots of great deals- I scored some darling New Balance rose gold sandals for only $27!! The parking is non-existing since the street has been redone, causing area employees/residents to utilize customer street parking for the most part, since cars are parked there for hours on end. The man, before even saying hello looked over his eyeglasses and said I could get an $800 ticket for multiple parking violations for my parking actions. After leaving my shoes with him I asked him where parking was located for customers and he said "all over" and became visibly upset about. When I returned the next week, I felt he was still upset or maybe just has bad customer relation skills. Maybe he doesn't like people who wear black shoes...I don't know but I would not recommend anyone visit his store or if you do- wear white shoes.

Row upon row of ugly brand name sneakers, slip on's and sandals, moderately priced and shiny new. It even had that same smell (dirty carpet and leather)! I really wasn't looking to buy, so I didn't look to hard to see what they were selling. But noticed all of the necessary shoe accessories--like socks, leather protector, shoe laces, and shoe horns. There was only a couple of options that I liked and I wasn't paying $90 for the stereotypical Birkenstocks. Overall FF has a decent selection of shoes. Many varieties of tennis shoes, a bunch of canvas shoes (where did the Rocket Dogs go???) More women's shoes than men's or children's shoes. Prices range from cheap to overpriced. It just really depends on what you want whether they are cheap or expensive.

We took our kids here on a winter break, gray day and it was a lot of fun. First off, there's a mini aquarium when you walk in -- it's nothing to write home about, but it gets the kids attention and they realize right away this is a fun store. From there, you can't miss the gigantic ferris wheel in the middle of the store. Gonna be real, it's fun and worth the wait but also a bit nerve wracking. Something is just odd about quietly swaying at the top of a department store quietly for such a long time. My daughter was like, "Dad, I'm scared to look down!" and all I could think was, "so am I, kid, so am I." We both agreed it's pretty fun once it gets going. There's also a little bowling area where you get five frames for a buck, and ditto to a little arcade game area as well. There's toy stores, outdoor goods, quality brands of clothes and outfitting, and really a nice answer to online shopping. In fact, it feels like malls used to feel in the 90's but a modern spin on everything. We did eat here but I'd say skip it. I didn't find anything I wanted and when I went to finish off my kids chicken tenders I was super underwhelmed and ended up pitching them. I will say at this time they carry Sylas & Maddy's ice cream (best IC in the city IMO) so that was a nice surprise treat. What more could you want if out shopping with the kids?! It's a great spot to kill a quiet afternoon.
