My shins hurt every time I run and I've been doing this since February. I narrowed the problem down to my shoes. I looked up Saucony, and eyed the new Guide shoe.I found The Running Well store on the Saucony website. I went to the store, and he suggested I do a fitting. I got on the treadmill so he could see how I run, and he video taped my feet. Then he carefully measured my feet, both,and suggested shoes from one of the categories. I was pleased that the Saucony Guide was top of the category, and well,I have good taste. He bought out 3 pairs of shoes, including the Saucony, which I decided on. I might not even have to wear my plantar fascitis orthotic cause the shoe has orthotic support. I also loaded up on good socks. This store is clean, pretty and you should check out their wall of run tickets. This is where i will go when I need my shoes. The staff is knowledgeable and really knows their topic. My wife purchased some New Balance running shoes from the Running Well Store at a price of about $168 last September. Both of these shoes have exhibited the same problem; the sole is separating from the shoe and after very little actual use. We understand the limit of returns/exchanges is 30 days and under normal circumstances do understand the policy. We were given the New Balance phone number which we appreciated but I would have expected the store to take a more active role in addressing this with New Balance on our behalf. We purposely bought locally to support business in Lee's Summit but given this experience, we might as well buy on-line. read more

Went to store for Bodies Run packet pick-up. Had shoes in bin my size10, went home tried to run shoe was a Wide, not noted NO BOX! Returned to store said shoe was wide. Store clerk said sorry no refunds signs were everywhere!! She said you wore them outside no refund!! CROOKS!! Running BAD STORE!!! read more

I can't say enough great things about all the running well stores. I have been buying my running shoes from them for over 8 years. Last weekend was my first trip to this location. The staff was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. No matter where you are in your running or walking career these people can help you! I have turned several friends onto running and I ALWAYS recommend going here. I have some running friends that tell me to just buy next pair online, but because of the quality of service I get here I will keep coming to running well. It's so important to shop local!
