I got on the treadmill so he could see how I run, and he video taped my feet. Then he carefully measured my feet, both,and suggested shoes from one of the categories. I was pleased that the Saucony Guide was top of the category, and well,I have good taste. He bought out 3 pairs of shoes, including the Saucony, which I decided on. I might not even have to wear my plantar fascitis orthotic cause the shoe has orthotic support. I also loaded up on good socks. This store is clean, pretty and you should check out their wall of run tickets. This is where i will go when I need my shoes. The staff is knowledgeable and really knows their topic. My shoes, so far, so good.

Both of these shoes have exhibited the same problem; the sole is separating from the shoe and after very little actual use. We understand the limit of returns/exchanges is 30 days and under normal circumstances do understand the policy. We were given the New Balance phone number which we appreciated but I would have expected the store to take a more active role in addressing this with New Balance on our behalf. We purposely bought locally to support business in Lee's Summit but given this experience, we might as well buy on-line.

Not only do they have the same Birkenstocks, but they have the one with the 6 straps, within the 2 buckle enclosure. Those are called Granadas. Great mix of shoes, and the clearance aisles are also worth looking at. They carry Bandolinos, BORN, Clarks, Sketchers, and tons of billions of other shoes. They even have fake socks to place on, if you happen to not be wearing socks, or need to wear hose with the shoes. I find their selection pretty good. The BORN are a bit narrow for me, cause it's the BOC Born style. They carry socks, but I think the socks there are a bit pricey, for socks, that is. Definitely worth checking out this store. Time and time again, I'm glad it's there.

After trying several sports stores with no luck, we called Famous Footwear in Lee's Summit. Kaitlyn answered the phone and went above and beyond--she checked the clearance section for me and found the exact size we needed (a youth 3 in turf cleats!). She kindly held them for us, and when we arrived there was no line. We were in and out quickly, cleats in hand, and only 2 minutes late to the game. But my taste in how a race is produced and implemented is starting to become picky. So as of this year, I mostly run (or blow off and walk) 5ks that are produced by KC Running Company. A girl has to have the best running shoes made and every piece of gear possible she can buy. So this is where these guys come in. I work close to this location and have entered it countless of times for race packets. It's next to Waldo Pizza. I walk past it all the time. It's like a candy store in there. I bought my Brooks Ghost in there the other day and by golly the guy who runs it (his brother runs the Martin City location) talked me into running Rock The Parkway. It never stops. I would totally suggest running any race produced by KC Running Company. Just stop in and start talking and I bet they talk you into running one of the races. The store is a great running store with top notch gear. The guys are runners and they know their equipment. I love this store and totally suggest it if you need a pair of running shoes.

I brought a pair of equestrian tall boots to the shoe master to have the zippers replaced. I was…read morecharged $285 for this service and it took four weeks to complete. Upon picking up my boots a was disappointed to see loose sloppy stitching, glue being used to hold parts of the boot together, and just overall poor craftsmanship. About three weeks after getting these boots back the repair is separating in places due to the glue not holding and the loose stitches are starting to tear. Also wanted to add that they were poorly re-dyed which I did not agree to. Disappointing because I had heard nothing but good things about this place. Do not recommend.
