As we're paying, I hear the woman at the cashier yell across the store to a kid. Telling him if he breaks it he bought it. I turned to see & it's my 10 yr. old staring back scared & wide eyed. He was actually headed towards me to ask me what the metal object was. I told him it was to cut candle wicks & asked him to put it back. The cashier continued to grumble as if she was upset. I politely told her there was no need to yell. She just proceeded to repeat "if you break it you bought it", as if there was something wrong with her, never making eye contact. She took my cash payment & then completely ignored me. Immediately as I turned to leave, she started speaking badly about me to her co- worker, RIGHT THERE INFRONT OF ME & OTHER CUSTOMERS! I couldn't believe it. The other employee, a woman, looks at me & I tell her that is completely inappropriate & she should not be treating customers like that. This second woman then ignored what I'm saying & starts gesturing with her hand towards the door while telling me "goodbye, have a nice day". She repeated this 3 times!! What an awful experience we had at the Cellar! With these 2 horrible women with horrid manners. We truly regret giving our business to this store. Never again!

In this case, I absolutely make a better latte than Highliner Coffee. We came here as Sitka was the first stop of the cruise. The shop itself was not too big and has a drive through. There was a long line which made sense because everyone from the boat wanted coffee! The prices aren't listed on the board which was kinda weird. But when we placed our order, a 12 oz hot latte was just under $5. I think $4.75 if I remember correctly. The latte came out fairly quick, but the flavors were lackluster. It tasted like watery milk with a splash of espresso. It was quite disappointing. However, this might be the only place that does coffee in Sitka. If that's the case, my brother and I might move here and start our own coffee shop haha. Anyways, would I could back. Nope. But it was worth trying nonetheless.

The ladies are super welcoming and kind! Decided to order some flavored iced lattes( coconut, vanilla and white chocolate) for our group. They had blueberry and coffee flavored. Our favorite was the regular salt and the spruce tip. The shop also has plates, containers for salts as well as cocktail mixes, glasses, etc. Other nonalcoholic options were available. We found a great selection of cheeses and one of our favorites was a bag of Fried Egg potato chips from Spain. OMG they were amazing. A great place for a gift for someone. They will also ship anywhere.
