$20 to simply trim the sides and nape of my head. Did alright with the taper portion but completely butchered the back of my neck. Left one trail of hair on the right side but not the left, as well as leaving a duck tail at the base of my head. Why the laziness and uneven cut? Not sure. Didn't think to check the back because I've never been done dirty before. I will in the future, especially before leaving another $10 tip for a slight trim. read more

First I think it's important to say it's Cash only here!! I thought I saw a review saying they don't accept cash but they actually only do cash. I was able to go next door and get some cash so that was nice! I absolutely love this shop! I live near it and always pass it but have only ever taken my son to Great Clips. My son is hard of hearing and non verbal so I always feel anxious during hair cuts because he doesn't like his ears touched. However, both gentleman working were very nice and friendly the entire time! The gentleman who cut my sons hair took about 5 minutes total and I think that's just because he was squirming a lot. They put on Toy Story for him, gave him a lollipop and he just kept telling him how good he was doing and how handsome he looked. I appreciated it so much! I was nervous about him sitting by himself since he usually is in my lap while they cut his hair but he did great! He looks amazing! We will definitely be back!!! read more

Was stopping at bakery. Saw and thought I would check them out. One in chair with father? Son with goatee not busy, no one else in shop. Didn't see price list, asked about just getting edge up. Son comes across with flat affect no personality or sense of welcome to a potential new customer. Stated one price if he touches your head. $18 . Considered for a moment but then remember there are businesses that want to earn my money with good product And services. Not act like they are doing me a favor by them letting me sit in his chair. Then I saw multiple reviews for same behavior, youngest son? Maybe. Today with so many options customer service is King. Step it up son, your Dad deserves better. I truly do recommend this place to anyone looking for a new barber or who is new to San Antonio. Run by the Father and two sons. Gives a very warm welcome and listen to stories, told by the sons about there Father. Has a sign "In God we trust. All Others pay Cash." 15 dollars for a cut and I truly Recommend The guys always in the middle, Mark. MARK IS TRULY A TOP TEN BARBER. He does mainly the high school kids and he knows the move. Frank is the father and I believe Anthony is the other son. Friendly to little ones, gives them lollipops and is very careful. There open till 6 on weekdays, but if you want Frank the Father he is off on Wednesdays. I am an average customer and come about every two weeks. Truly is 5 stars and also sells soda for 75cents and a water for a $1. Again if you area looking for a new barber shop i truly recommend this one. read more

I have been coming to this Barber Shop since they opened and I'm very happy with the service and environment, the place has lots of character. It is operated by a Father and Sons staff and they are very friendly respectable and true professional barbers and very reasonable. It's a family barber shop where your wife can bring the children for haircuts and not have to worry about disrespectful workers or customers. I would give this place 5 stars but one of the sons has a major attitude problem and doesn't seem to have his dad's best interest at heart when running a business. Asked him when a particular barber came in and gave major attitude when answering the question. Feel bad for the father who has a son like this ruining his business. This guy just seems like he hates life and I see customers cringe when they know he's going to cut their hair. Just FYI this isn't Anthony one of the sons it's the other I'll let you figure it out.
