I probably hit D and B up once every 4 years or so. This was my first time to the Lombard location. 1. I dug out my old play cards circa 2010. These did not even register on the loading station so I took over to customer service. Staff were able to transfer my points to a new card and I could also purchase playing time as well. 2. Next stop was to meet some friends at the bar. They have an extensive drink list. Both of the drinks I had were excellent. Staff takes their time to have the drinks with proper pours. 3. Games at this location were decently spread out. There were a couple out of order, but over all seemed to be in working condition. 4. Price redemption had decent prizes. On my old cards I had about 1400 points so figured I could use some up on this visit. This location also offers happy hour during the week. I would return for those specials. read more

This is a relatively new D&B's that opened just in time for summer. I grew up going to D&B's, so being able to bring my kids here has been a fun full-circle experience. Over the summer they offered an unlimited play pass, which was a great deal for the kids and even came with discounts on food and drinks. The location is definitely smaller than some of the other ones in the area, but they still manage to fit in a lot of the same games. My only gripe with this location is the restaurant service. There have been a few times we ended up leaving because a server never came by after seated. Aside from that, it's been a great addition to the area and a spot we'll keep coming back to for the games and family fun. 'Til next time, cheers! read more

The gold fingers did not look like an adult entree , rather the kids meal. The fries were on the soggy side, and the Cole slaw looked like someone's leftovers. My husband got the chicken sandwich, and the fried chicken looked skinny, like one of my tenders. We also ordered the fried pickles, and they were fine. We usually enjoy eating here, so I don't know why the food has gone downhill this time. Our boys got the kids pizza and sliders- those looked decent. Service and food were mediocre. This is my favorite place to go multiple times a week. We buy the seasonal passes and the value is insanely good. We make it an effort to have family days here as often as possible. It's loud, it's bright, it's everything you need to take a break from reality. The service here is always top notch. Specifically Brian, Edwin, Irving, and Alexa. From ordering at the bar, sitting in our favorite booth, or redeeming our tickets. It's always easy breezy and they are all very good with kids. It's rare to fine people that enjoy their jobs and they do it so well and extend that to every guest. We don't eat much but, Edwin recommended wings once and the kids have fallen in love with them. They arent like bar/wing wings but they get the job done. Mozz stack is solid and the truffle fries and pretzel dogs are sooo good! Mini burgers are a hit as well. The inside is big but like other DnBs, it just feels smaller than they used it when I was growing up. I do enjoy playing the different arcades. We came on a weeknight. Early enough that we started with happy hour pricing that switched to the regular menu. The drinks were good. Also had the Pretzels, fries and an order of fried pickles. Food was solid in taste. Service was attentive and the games were all very fun. Super clean and staff were walking around cleaning. I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends but we will for sure be back. Only hic cup was we had trouble using a gift card (can buy at Costco to save a few bucks) in the machine to buy points for the games. I used it with the server for our food and drinks and he mentioned that you have to manually enter the card. Seems that would also be a pain on a busy night but we weren't in a rush. Aside from Gaming experience, the food here is questionable in quality. The service was mediocre at best, our server was a bartender working both tables and the bar. They seemed to be understaffed yet taking on many tables. I could tell we weren't the only ones that faced difficulty with this. The wait time was understandable yet if I knew the quality of food I would not have stayed. Service was friendly and understanding of our frustrations with the system. Yet the food was very cheap for the price. Paying around 17 dollars to receive only 8 wings which were very small. Then an additional 4 dollars for very thin "seasoned fries". The sauce wasn't the worst or the best, although the aroma was incredibly strong. Almost like nail polish. The area seemed well cleaned yet If i would eat here again I would not. It's much better to eat out of Dave and busters. You'll get your moneys worth. I believe that the restaurant was only set as a cheap way to get some extra cash. I feel terrible for the workers and sympathize with the stomachs of previous customers. My stomach now hurts and my family continues to complain about the it discomfort. Please don't eat here, it'll hurt your stomach. Overall I would come here again to pay high prices for fun video games. Just don't get the food. Absolutely terrible. After getting a table, we waited for over 20 minutes for our server to come by. We ordered drinks and food all at once. Someone else brought our drinks. Over 30 minutes later the manager brought our food. My food was wrong and my partner's food was cold, like hers had been sitting out for 15+ minutes. Our server finally came by for the first time, looked at my plate and immediately knew it was wrong, and went to get a manager. I explained to the same manager as before that my food was wrong, to which she puzzling replied "I know I saw the ticket". Yet she brought it out anyway. She said she'd remove the stuff from the bill and we never saw her nor the server again. So after waiting 15ish minutes, we just walked out. We went and got a table to grab some food and some drinks. After sitting at the table for 25 minutes no one acknowledged us or asked if we had been helped. We finally grabbed a staff member asking for water and he said he would get us some and never came back. At this point we got up and left. It was not even busy in there. Just terrible. Come here for the food and games expect no service. I don't even know how to put into words how they just don't care about you. It takes 15 minutes to get their attention and even then they ignore you at the bar after you request something. We went for a chill night to watch football and the terrible service was consistent throughout our whole group at the bar. They even told us they would have to ask us to move seats because we were in dining seating even though we've been ordering food all night long and there was no one around the bar at all. We wanted to be one of the first to try out the new Dave & Buster's in Lombard (Yorktown Mall). This a glossy newly opened location which embodies the latest designs from the company. High ceilings. Great lighting. Even the air felt cool & crisp. Music was fantastic. The hospitality felt here is unparalleled. It's such an upbeat environment. Everyone we interfaced with seemed happy to be there. The food has rich flavors and textures. The drinks are colorful, generous, varied and full of punch! Try the Chocolate S'mores Cheesecake. Extraordinary! Prices are very reasonable for the portion size. There's a nice kids menu sure to please. The arcade games will captivate you. There's certainly the classics along with cutting edge VR. Don't forget the air hockey! This is the type of place you could really enjoy on a date, in a group or even as a small banquet/party. I looked at the EVENTS brochure and there are many options across all budgets. The gift shop has plenty of well merchandised prizes. Some people feel the need to spend all their tickets same day, but you can save them up for an even bigger prize by returning and continuing to earn them. I think Lombard is very fortunate to have Dave & Buster's. We have enjoyed the location in Addison for years but I think people in the Western Suburbs will find this new Lombard location to be very convenient along with ample free parking. Service was good. Food was average. After we ate, we went to play a few games and left our drinks on our table and coats in the seats. They cleared our table and put our coats at the bar as our waitress said they needed it for someone else. I thought that was the worst part and then I got the bill. There were four off us and we got one appetizer and we all got wings and a pop. For games, we each got a $44 card, which they charged us a $3 "new card" fee for each card. In total, the bill was $320. Then the bill indicated that they expected me to give a $50 tip...not on your life. Won't be going back ever again. Total ripoff. read more

Was there with family few weeks ago, soon we walk in we see old security guard sitting and watching TV. Wow not protecting if watching TV. We stayed about 3 hours and he never got off that chair. He seats right in front and never moves. We saw the other guard move stand the entire time we there. So does that guard in front have more pull to seat! We didn't feel safe with that guy in front. Maybe Dave and Busters should make it more uncomfortable for that guard. read more

Food and service at the restaurant was great! However, the manager was about as useless as a bull in a china shop.. Additionally, limiting the way we can spend the tickets that we spent OUR money on is not right! I spent the money I spent to get the tickets I won and should be able to use it on any item. Lombard is way smaller and the prize selection SUCKS compared to addison. I was so unimpressed with the new location, the new rules and the useless of the management for any type of assistance. we will not be back and we're going about monthly to the Addison location. oh and to add to it the location has been open for 8 days when we went and there were at least 7 games not working. that doesn't sound like much until you see how many games are in the whole plabe.
