I understand not including the most radical or controversial literature in public view, but the lacking in your collection indicates a stand against knowledge. While it is important to provide for the general public, it is also important achieve and provide for those looking beyond the readily available. Books often are out of print/circulation. Not buying or throwing out valuable resources is a detriment to the community and, on a long enough timetable, society at large.
