Quaint place right next to the Cibolo creek on the main drag in Boerne. Outstanding food. Everything tastes scratch made. My SIL absolutely fell in love with the housemate charred salsa. We even asked if we could buy it jarred. It was that good.

The service fast though not the friendliest. However, the food was GREAT. Loved the fries. I had the Cuban sandwich which was amazing. Hard to find a good Cuban. My husband had the pastrami Ruben which was good, but the pastrami was very brisket in flavor- not a bad thing but also not the pastrami flavor he was looking for. He loved the beer he had as well- described it as "f**king awesome." Most likely, we would come here again.

We went on a Thursday evening. It was busy, but there were plenty of tables/seating options. It was LOUD with very little noise dampening. It was very hard to hear each other speak across the table. The service was very food. Got the shrimp tacos and a non-alcoholic beer. In addition, we got the Boerne Blonde beer, which was yummy.

Had not been to Boerne in a while and loved the fact that there are numerous local breweries in this area - we wanted both food and drink so this was where we ended up and it was a good pick! You order at the bar and seat yourself - though it was warm, they had a shaded back patio with lots of fans that kept it cool. I tried one of their IPAs, my husband had their sampler and both were excellent. They have pitchers of lemonade or local sodas for the kids. Service was fast and friendly and we received everything quickly! We tried 4 dishes including Cowboy candy which is cream cheese covered in candied jalapeño served with bread / really good, a pretzel, a cheese and meat board and their take on Aguachile / all really tasty! It was a great way to spend a lunch in Bourne and we will definitely return!

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great beer. Great time. This is the sort of place where you order at the bar, pick your seat, and just have a good time with friends. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a large assortment of items on the menu. Our party ordered the burger, the goat burger, the pork schnitzel, the beeria tacos and a Philly cheesesteak. The sandwiches came with about 2 cups of fries each and the food was prepared as ordered. The service was average speed. This was the perfect place for us to catch up with some family that came in to town. I've already got my eye on the next item I'm going to try off their menu. I definitely recommend this place!

We went to cibolo Creek to try the offline barbecue in the back off the patio where the little band was playing and it was awesome on a Sunday morning with the breeze in your hair eating some ribs and brisket you got to act fast tho they run out quick but it's worth it and don't get me started on that potato salad

Cibolo Creek Brewing is the place to go when you are visiting Boerne! Let me start by saying that I no longer drink beer so I can't comment much on that, however they do have an amazing food menu which was the main reason why I came here. When you arrive you first order at the counter and for those non-beer drinkers they have a small fridge with a wide variety of other drink options. After you order, you can grab a sit anywhere you like. They have a huge outdoor sitting section in both the back and front of the restaurant. For my last visit I ordered the fried brussels sprouts and CCB wings. Both of them had a little sign that said it might take a little longer to cook, but both items came out super fast. The brussels sprouts were definitely my favorite! They are cooked in an Asian dressing that is a little sweet and packed with flavor. The wings were also cooked to perfection and equally delicious. Can't wait to come back and try something new from their menu!

The beer is so good. The servers at the counter were very helpful. Thankfully they had fans to keep the flies away. The attendants came and cleaned up the picnic tables after people left.

We set our sites on this place because it seemed to have a better food menu than it's competitor nearby. You'll find a chalk menu inside with additional specials to choose from. They have plenty of seating inside, out front and in a covered beer garden out back. The ambience consists of wooden floors with furniture to match inside what appears to be an old home from 100 years ago. We were expecting table service, but this is a self-serve style. You place your own order, head to the silver ware station and sit down and wait for them to bring it to you. And yes, you'll be facing the tip screen when you check out with the credit card (or use tip jar). After I sat down I realized I did not get a receipt with the breakdown. As for the food, their wings and farro salad are very good. I thought the home fries that came with the burger were perfect and the burger was decent. I tried five of their nine beers, and I would rate them as pretty average, tame and underwhelming, but correct to style. It would've been nice to have seen more selection and some more assertive beers such as strong ales or a DIPA. If you need a sweet treat to finish off the meal, they do have gelato, but that's all. It's a good acceptable place to grab a bite and a beer and I'd return again. 10 photos included for more informative insight. Food 4*, beer 2* ordering 3*, total 31/2*.

Creekside IPA. Good. Not great. Just good. Per my beer connoisseur....

Food was terrible. Tried the pork skins - avoid avoid avoid. I asked if they were cooked today and the answer was 'I don't know!' Ruben sandwich smelled weird. That's all I will say. Service? What service?? They need help here!! Beer was good IPA good and porch swing excellent. Parking ridiculous!! Good luck with that! We would not recommend this and the current ratings are way off center from our experience. Ambiance- meh! Kids playing at the water cooler area - hands on everything. No cutlery out.

Great spot, really enjoyed the back beer garden. Service was on point and food was tasty.

Great brewery...The beers that my wife and I got- the Boerne Blonde and the Weiss Hefeweizen- were excellent!! The Pork Skins app...ehh...I was hoping more for true "cracklins" but they were more like bagged pork rinds that were nuked. For entrees we had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Bier Bun...both were excellent. The mustard that they served with the Bier Bun was incredible. The French fries were also fresh cut and good. All in all, no complaints...would certainly pop back in for a beer next time in Boerne- the beer was THAT good. Take this review for what it's worth peeps! Enjoy your meals...you deserve it!

I had a very enjoyable experience dining at Cibolo Creek Brewery's outdoor front patio on a cool evening! I tried the Hill Country Snack Plate and my daughter had one of four kids meal options. The snack plate offered multiple small bites to try and I really loved the artichoke dip, Gouda cheese and the pickled okra! Boerne, Texas recently received a Brew City designation and is offering a passport card to track beer sampling at four of the six Boerne breweries. The first 200 people to complete their passport will receive a Brew City t-shirt. I love that you can taste Cibolo Creek's beer before committing to one style and they offer very affordable 1/2 pour glasses! While the front patio was nice and spacious, there is also indoor seating and more outdoor seating in the back. I will definitely return!

Almost a month and a half beforehand, I made reservations online, which was quick and easy. For the occasion, they offered a special menu to help streamline ordering. The entrees were $28 and included either a mimosa or specialty drink. My mom and aunt both ordered the Southern Hospitality, which came with eggs, shredded hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, toast, and berry compote. My aunt paired hers with a mimosa while my mom chose a drip coffee. My little cousin had the mini stack pancakes topped with fresh berries and whipped cream. I was looking for a lower-carb option, so although I considered the omelette, most of the included ingredients were not to my liking. Instead, I ordered 2 eggs with added tomato and a side of hollandaise sauce. For my drink, I chose the Sunnycito coffee. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals! The presentation of each dish was beautifully curated. I really enjoyed my food overall, though I was not particularly fond of the hollandaise sauce. The flavor was not very enticing to me, and the consistency was a bit too thick. However, the Sunnycito coffee was absolutely superb! I almost ordered another one to-go. It was a beautifully blended, smooth, rich concoction inspired by a café con leche, or "cafecito", a Cuban-style coffee. When I looked over their regular menu beforehand, the drinks were labeled as either hot or iced, and I had only seen the Sunnycito listed hot, which is how it is traditionally prepared. Our wonderful waitress kindly asked if I would prefer it iced, and since I was in the mood for something cold, I happily agreed. I highly recommend this drink! They also add a hint of orange zest, which was such a unique touch and something I had never encountered before in a coffee. Despite how busy the restaurant was, everything seemed to run very smoothly. The staff remained attentive to everyone's needs, and our water glasses were never empty. I regret forgetting our waitress's name, but she was personable, sweet, and attentive throughout the entire experience. Altogether, it made for a very special and memorable Mother's Day celebration. I can't wait to return!

One oddity is there is a ramp leading to a door, but apparently that is not the entrance, at least according to the sign on the door. The entrance has stairs you need to ascend. So much for wheelchair and mobility issue friendly. We were seated quickly. Overall impressions are its clean, and normal restaurant chatter. There is seating inside, as well as outside, and apparently there is an upstairs seating area as well. Seating inside is close together, so this is not the place for conversation that you don't want others to hear. Waited quite a while without any acknowledgment of any kind, no drink order taken, nothing. After our waitress arrived, our drink orders were taken. At this point, since we still haven't received our drinks, I'm going to break from normal and mention the terrible service. I would normally wait until the end but this deserves mentioning. A different waitress approached and asked about our drinks. After another wait, our drinks arrived. Correction, the 2 coffees arrived. Not the Diet Pepsi that was ordered. On the plus side, my wife and daughter rated the coffees a 4.5 and 4, respectively. They did mention they were slightly less happy with the sizes. We finally placed our food order. Upon arrival, the food, fortunately, was excellent. My wife and daughter both rated the crepes 5 out of 5. I would rate the omelette 4.5-4.75. We are hoping the service was a fluke, because we had read good things about Sunny's, and their overall ratings are high. I can say this was one of the worst services I've experienced in quite some time, including fast food establishments. We will try again, and hopefully the service is better. So take from this what you will: Based on food and cost, I would rate Sunny's a 4.25. Factor in the service and I would rate it a 2.5, and wouldn't return. Hopefully our next experience is better.

The menu is on the wall and ordering at the counter. There are yummy looking pies in the case. We were happy to see liver and onions with 3 sides. We got drinks and my unsweet tea was nicely brewed, which in Texas is expected. Counter staff was friendly and service was quick. The environs are in serious need of an upgrade, which I doubt will happen to keep the prices low. As it is our shared meal and two drinks was about $25. The food comes out in the expected amount of time to make you feel like it was made just for you, but not from scratch, lol. I was disappointed in the mac n'cheese. It was extremely bland. And the corn was definitely from a can, not a bit of salt or butter. We shared a chopped sirloin and it was good. On other visits I can say I have enjoyed the chicken tender salad and fried catfish but really the chicken fried steak or chicken are my GO TO choices. I will say, if the owner is reading this...I know you are super busy, but your restaurant needs a good cleaning and refresh. It's kinda worn out. The chairs aren't comfortable. The booths need to be scrubbed, even the walls adjoining to the booths are dirty. Maybe your bussers clean the table tops great after each use, but the surrounding area is kinda gross. I am not saying I won't be back, or even that people shouldn't give it a try, just setting expectations and hoping that the owners make some time to get back to quality on every plate and at every table.
