Pass by all the time with tons of ppl sitting in the patio. Got the sandwiches, tastes great! For the food, it's 5 Star. However, there is a lunch menu which we did come during lunch hour, not aware of it. As we completed ordering, the guy doesn't even tell us about the lunch menu and I noticed it as he was ringing us up. Don't prefer the hidden cost also, there's a 3% credit card charge. The restaurant and food, fantastic. Price and hidden charges, not good.

Okay! We happen to be in the area visiting a business down the street so we headed Cibolo Creek Brewing for lunch! What a fantastic meal and great service! I will admit we definitely did not look like locals, so we had to navigate the ordering process (not complicated we're just "new") but the staff was helpful, patient and kind! The star of the show for me, was definitely the hummus! I wish we could say we'll be back for weekend BBQ but we don't live in Texas however we will definitely recommend!

Stopped here for a lunch on my way out of town. Wish it wouldn't have been raining, so I could have enjoyed sitting outside. Got a chicken sandwich and a beer. Both were good. The sandwich was HUGE, I couldn't eat it all. I enjoyed the Oktoberfest beer I had, but I thought the beer options were somewhat limited. Service was fast and friendly and I would definitely recommend a stop here!

Cibolo Creek Brewing is a great option for no matter your age group, the weather, or dietary preferences! Whether you're looking for live music on a sunny day with a good beer, or a chilly afternoon where your family can tuck in for a yummy meal - this is the place for you. The drink selections are just big enough to keep you coming back and the food hasn't missed yet! Service is quick and friendly, and this is my favorite go to spot when in Boerne! Parking, like you'll find for anywhere else in the area, is either on the street or if you're lucky enough to find an open lot. They do offer a gluten free bun for their sandwiches which is a plus for anyone who needs it. Wine and cider are offered along side the beer selection - I recommend the beer flight to try a bit of everything - and of course kid friendly meals and drinks are offered as well.

Quaint place right next to the Cibolo creek on the main drag in Boerne. Outstanding food. Everything tastes scratch made. My SIL absolutely fell in love with the housemate charred salsa. We even asked if we could buy it jarred. It was that good.

Cuban and fries

The service fast though not the friendliest. However, the food was GREAT. Loved the fries. I had the Cuban sandwich which was amazing. Hard to find a good Cuban. My husband had the pastrami Ruben which was good, but the pastrami was very brisket in flavor- not a bad thing but also not the pastrami flavor he was looking for. He loved the beer he had as well- described it as "f**king awesome." Most likely, we would come here again.

Had not been to Boerne in a while and loved the fact that there are numerous local breweries in this area - we wanted both food and drink so this was where we ended up and it was a good pick! You order at the bar and seat yourself - though it was warm, they had a shaded back patio with lots of fans that kept it cool. I tried one of their IPAs, my husband had their sampler and both were excellent. They have pitchers of lemonade or local sodas for the kids. Service was fast and friendly and we received everything quickly! We tried 4 dishes including Cowboy candy which is cream cheese covered in candied jalapeño served with bread / really good, a pretzel, a cheese and meat board and their take on Aguachile / all really tasty! It was a great way to spend a lunch in Bourne and we will definitely return!

We went on a Thursday evening. It was busy, but there were plenty of tables/seating options. It was LOUD with very little noise dampening. It was very hard to hear each other speak across the table. The service was very food. Got the shrimp tacos and a non-alcoholic beer. In addition, we got the Boerne Blonde beer, which was yummy.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great beer. Great time. This is the sort of place where you order at the bar, pick your seat, and just have a good time with friends. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a large assortment of items on the menu. Our party ordered the burger, the goat burger, the pork schnitzel, the beeria tacos and a Philly cheesesteak. The sandwiches came with about 2 cups of fries each and the food was prepared as ordered. The service was average speed. This was the perfect place for us to catch up with some family that came in to town. I've already got my eye on the next item I'm going to try off their menu. I definitely recommend this place!

Cibolo Creek Brewing is the place to go when you are visiting Boerne! Let me start by saying that I no longer drink beer so I can't comment much on that, however they do have an amazing food menu which was the main reason why I came here. When you arrive you first order at the counter and for those non-beer drinkers they have a small fridge with a wide variety of other drink options. After you order, you can grab a sit anywhere you like. They have a huge outdoor sitting section in both the back and front of the restaurant. For my last visit I ordered the fried brussels sprouts and CCB wings. Both of them had a little sign that said it might take a little longer to cook, but both items came out super fast. The brussels sprouts were definitely my favorite! They are cooked in an Asian dressing that is a little sweet and packed with flavor. The wings were also cooked to perfection and equally delicious. Can't wait to come back and try something new from their menu!

The beer is so good. The servers at the counter were very helpful. Thankfully they had fans to keep the flies away. The attendants came and cleaned up the picnic tables after people left.

OFFLINE BBQ

We went to cibolo Creek to try the offline barbecue in the back off the patio where the little band was playing and it was awesome on a Sunday morning with the breeze in your hair eating some ribs and brisket you got to act fast tho they run out quick but it's worth it and don't get me started on that potato salad

We set our sites on this place because it seemed to have a better food menu than it's competitor nearby. You'll find a chalk menu inside with additional specials to choose from. They have plenty of seating inside, out front and in a covered beer garden out back. The ambience consists of wooden floors with furniture to match inside what appears to be an old home from 100 years ago. We were expecting table service, but this is a self-serve style. You place your own order, head to the silver ware station and sit down and wait for them to bring it to you. And yes, you'll be facing the tip screen when you check out with the credit card (or use tip jar). After I sat down I realized I did not get a receipt with the breakdown. As for the food, their wings and farro salad are very good. I thought the home fries that came with the burger were perfect and the burger was decent. I tried five of their nine beers, and I would rate them as pretty average, tame and underwhelming, but correct to style. It would've been nice to have seen more selection and some more assertive beers such as strong ales or a DIPA. If you need a sweet treat to finish off the meal, they do have gelato, but that's all. It's a good acceptable place to grab a bite and a beer and I'd return again. 10 photos included for more informative insight. Food 4*, beer 2* ordering 3*, total 31/2*.

Creekside IPA. Good. Not great. Just good. Per my beer connoisseur....

I would not have been able to find it off the main street. It's nothing fancy in appearance, but it was clean and the staff was nice. We did in line to order. It has that old time, family appeal kind of restaurant. I don't know how else to explain this other than it's food that your southern grandma would make for you. It had all the flavor and all the heart cooked right into it. It's self serve drinks and silverware, etc. I love that they have different size portions of meals. There are so many things to choose from. I normally take a million photos. I apologize because I was so into my visit that I didn't get any except photos of my family. I can tell you we started with fried mushrooms and they were incredible. They were hot and battered perfectly. Add Ranch and I was in heaven. They served it with gravy also-which is a must. Do you ever look back at your visit and wish you had eaten more of something? That's me with the mushrooms, but I was trying to be lady like so I only ate a few. I got chopped beef sirloin that was smothered in onions and brown gravy & fried okra and they serve it with this muffin like roll. It was all so good. The quality of the meat was great and that deep brown gravy compliments the entire dish....grilled onions....oh man...take me back! Let me just tell you my little southern heart was in heaven. Their onion rings are amazing also. The chicken fried steak was great. I mean....i had to take bites of my son's plate also. I don't see how you could go wrong here. I love that you go grab your food and go sit yourself down. This place stayed hopping but they were on their game and had the food out so tables were turning quickly. I didn't see anybody ever waiting to sit. This is just an all in all great place to eat. I wish it wasn't so far away from me, but I will definitely make an effort to be back.

The menu is on the wall and ordering at the counter. There are yummy looking pies in the case. We were happy to see liver and onions with 3 sides. It also came with an incredibly tasty muffin, which we were told was a type of bran muffin. The liver was very thinly sliced and nicely grilled. Sides were generous. We got drinks and my unsweet tea was nicely brewed, which in Texas is expected. Counter staff was friendly and service was quick. The environs are in serious need of an upgrade, which I doubt will happen to keep the prices low. As it is our shared meal and two drinks was about $25. We were very pleased with our meal, the restrooms were clean and easy access, and overall other than extremely dated decor this eatery is a Boerne classic!

There was a line when I walked in--always a good sign. Most of the crowd was older folks and what looked like regulars just hanging out and enjoying breakfast. Not very welcoming but not a big dealbreaker. I honestly wasn't that hungry, which was kind of bad timing because the breakfast menu looked really good. Walking to my table and seeing everyone else's food definitely made me feel like I picked the wrong day not to be starving. I ended up just getting a caramel macchiato, and my niece and I shared a cinnamon roll. The baked goods seemed homemade, which is always nice. The macchiato was alright, and the cinnamon roll was pretty good. I'd come back for sure--just next time when I'm actually hungry enough to try a full breakfast.
