I've gone to this store 4 times now for laptops. Best prices versus Best Buy and Costco EVERY TIME. I've been back when I screwed up IE and another with a hardware issue - the technical staff is great. Each time they've jumped right on it, and a couple hours later I pick it up running as new. I visited this store last week looking for a blank DVD I needed to burn and also for a project organizer. I found the organizer, but I was only able to find a pack of a min of like 40 dvds which I did not need. They were so kind to actually give me a spare blank one for free from the back so that I didn't need to buy the entire pack! Also...I figured I'd ask questions on how to burn the DVD from my iPad and they told me that if I had troubles, I could bring it all in and they'd help! Considering Im terrible with that type of thing... that's what I ended up doing. Sure enough, they were determined to help me, even though it literally took 2 hours of their time! After all their troubles, they finally figured it out!! I have a pretty big print job for this store in Bellevue, WA. I'm in Dallas, TX. I called the store, and had one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time with Biran in the printing area! My order is fairly complicated, and I had changes along the way. Biran was so incredibly professional, helpful, and courteous. He had great suggestions to maximize my printing dollar, too. We still have an outstanding item to deal with... so he called me to make sure that I knew he'd be out tomorrow, and then gave me the name of the person who will be handling it in his place. He has updated her and the store manager. yeah. I know. That's how it SHOULD work. But it hasn't worked that way for me in a wide variety of stores and service industries lately... so that when I get that kind of service, I'm giddy! A bazillion thanks to Biran! I needed to print wedding invitations that I had created, but did not know which big box store to go to. I chose Office Depot, and I am SO glad I did. A gentleman named Lucas handled my project like it was his own. Incredible attention to detail. Looking each test print over to make sure it was just right. Trouble shooting if there was an issue. They came out BEAUTIFULLY. They even scanned a self drawn map and put it on a 4 x 6 card. The manager was also extremely helpful (he helped me before Lucas took over). The price was also much lower than I expected. This store has my printing and other office needs business for Life. read more

Avoid this Bellevue store at all costs! My last straw was today. I dread having to go there because they never have what I want in stock. I called ahead to see if they had a product I needed. The guy on the phone assured me they had my product. When I got there I found that, of course, they did not. Finally someone pulled up the product on their system to find that they had 0 on hand. I asked to speak to the manager, who did not even come out of his office. I asked for the name of the regional manager - his boss - and, surprise, they could not find this information for me. Such a terrible experience at this location. I have never experienced such awful customer service. I can't remember our salesman's name, but he flat out told us he didn't want to help us because he was tired. He also told us he didn't like customers including us. He was so rude and inconsiderate. I keep going back to Office Depot thinking somehow it'll be a better experience. Unfortunately, each time I leave very underwhelmed and perplexed by their anemic customer service. Forget about questions being answered, you may as well answer them yourself as these morons don't know anything! It doesn't help things when you walk in and every 20 seconds you hear an annoying loud ear piercing beep! I asked the guy what that horrible sound was and he ignored my question. When I asked again, he copped out some lame answer saying it was the "kindles" that kept making the sound. Wow...that really makes me want to buy a kindle! The cashiers are trained robots and the people that look like managers are useless and uncaring. The prices are marked up at least 50%. I had to purchase a toner cartridge for my brother printer and both cartridge options were marked up 50% compared to amazon.com. The person working their said she doesnt match amazon's pricing. read more

Thanks Mike the Manager at Office Depot in Bellevue for going above and beyond in resolving the furniture assembly issue we had with your assembler company Apollo--for furniture we purchased from Office Depot. Mike went above and beyond to advocate for us when Apollo was rescheduling appointments at the last minute as well as not showing up for appointments. If it wasn't for Mike, I don't think Apollo would have arrived when they did to assemble the furniture. Thanks for the great job Mike. read more

I bought a computer but later found it has some problems. I tried to return it but found the manager there are not very happy about it. The way she talked to me made me feel very uncomfortable and she also try to pressure me into buying their protection plan. Very pushy. I think I will shop at Costco, they ask no question when you return items. read more

Today I called ahead to ask about document shredding. Bundled up 2 boxed of documents to the Bellevue store. Customer Service rep was slow to ask what help I needed. Once he explained how they charge for shredding I went out to my car and lugged in the boxes. When I returned to the CS desk the 2 only assistants were in a heavy discussion about employee/management problems with other workers. The completely ignored myself and 2 other customer patiently awaiting even a simple acknowledgement of our existence. They both could see we were waiting and refused to discontinue their personal issues and help paying customers. After 8mins of this nonsense, I spoke up and told them that their conversation was obviously more important than customers and left with my boxes of unshredded documents. This place doesn't care about customers and this is only one of several problems I've had with this location in the past year. I shall not return ever again! read more
