I see why they are rated so low. I went to the store to have some pictures printed and they had NO employees. The young lady in the print/copy section was trying very hard to help but she was having difficulty with an order. That's all acceptable but it took her 20 minutes before she requested help. The young man on the register was on his cell phone watching something that had him laughing, but he offered NO help! I requested a manager and that also took sometime. Julio, the manager showed up and was very nice. The service at this location was awful and I think I will stick with the location on Carrol Street. They are SOOOOOOOOO much better! read more

Greeted as soon as I entered. Needing copies printed for a next day event- signing in at the kiosk was self explanatory and easy. The wait was short, and staff assisting were both knowledgeable and prompt. I took notice to how attentive all of the staff were throughout the store. Very pleasant experience. Will return for future needs and recommend to anyone in the area. Store seemed well stocked and organized. read more

This is the nearest office store to me but due to increasing frustration over small issues I will drive to the other side of town and use a different office supply store. Here are the tiny things which add up to the loss of a customer: 1. The print department is seemingly never Able to do small items such as binding ten pages of paper together same day. This is true even when on multiple occasions I've come in during the evening hours and am the only customer in the entire store. 2. A sign in screen has been added to the print services area. This seems logical for times in which the store is busy. I've actually never been in this store when it's busy and as an educator who sends a lot of things I'm there weekly. I fail to understand why I must sign in if I am the only customer in the entire store. 3. This week I sent my child's birthday part invitations in to print. These were sent in over 48 hours prior to my need to pick them up. I left my contact information on the email. No one bothered to open my email or contact me. When I arrived not only was my order not ready I was told they would not print it. I was given a nonsensical explanation that incorrectly explained copyright laws. Essentially the invitations contained a drawing of a portion of a character from a movie. This was not trademarked material whatsoever. It was, instead, a design I commissioned and paid an artist to create. This was not only inconvenient but prohibited me from sending invites to school with my child so she could invite her classmates. These are all minor issues which could be easily remedied but as I'm sure my experience is not unique this explains why the store is always so lacking in customers and therefore business. read more

Employees are very helpful & responsive. They are always there for you when you need help as soon as you enter the door. Did a quick fax and the lady in the counter did the fax for me without any headaches. I happen to notice that their printer displaying on the counters are dusty, they should probably vacuum them as some people are sensitive to dust mites. I'm from Fort Worth TX Typically I enjoy going to this store. The customer service has been great. They take good care of you there. However, I went in there today, April 20th around 8:00 p.m. to get 4 copies of a funeral program that had only 2 legal size sheets folded into a booklet. I signed in and waited my turn. Now I come in and get these done all the time. I typically come in the morning or early afternoon. I've had a wonderful experience with the workers. They are knowledgeable and efficient. This woman working tonight didn't know what she was doing. I appreciate the fact that she was willing to try, but she should have told me up front that she didn't know how to do the job. Instead, she took forever to print eight two sided legal size papers. Then she didn't pay attention to how they were laid and had to ask me for help. Next she stapled the original back together. She then refused to staple the others together stating that she did not have time and wanted me to wait while she waited on other customers that she said was lined up waiting. Well, everyone was already gone. I was the only customer. I told her it would only take a minute to put 8 staples in the four programs. She refused and told me I had to wait while she helped others. Again, there were no others there. I told her to just put them in a bag and I would come back the next day and get someone to staple them for me. I told her to make sure I was all set because I didn't want any trouble the next day. She then told me "I don't normally do these! I told her it's usually a quick and simple job and that I normally come in the mornings when I get these done and stapling them is part of the job. She tells me "I'm not them!" Of course I could tell because she didn't know what the heck she was doing. Then she got smart with me. I was ready to leave the store before I really told her about herself. I paid and then did some shopping before I left the store. Well, she was not working on anything. She was visiting the other workers, drinking water and just standing around doing nothing. Yet, she was too busy to staple my programs. It took the God in me to leave it alone. Just a complete idiot! I called the Manager and she started making excuses for her. There is no excuse for lying and being a total idiot to customers. If she'd told me she needed a second to take care of herself, that's understandable. But to tell me others are lined up waiting like I can't see there's no one there but me. I told the manager to pull the tape and see her employee doing nothing. She continued to make all sorts of excuses for this lying woman. Oh! we are short handed, Oh! she probably needed a drink! Oh! we have been so busy tonight! Oh! there are other jobs coming in on computer! and on and on! This woman was not on the computer working. She went over to the computer for a second and continued to stand around doing nothing. I made a comment to the checker that she had lied. There were no other customer waiting for her help. The checker was trying to keep from laughing because this woman had been over there visiting with her. She was not working! Now I have to drive back in the morning to have these stapled. My husband told me I should have left all of them there and walked out the store with my original since she didn't have one minute to complete the job. She better thank her lucky stars he was not with me. It would not have ended with me leaving the store with a half done job. I am so disappointed in this store. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't handle stupid well! These 2 women need to be fired or put through training again. The manager wanted to get off the phone because it was getting close to closing. Well, if I hadn't held the phone for God knows how long before she attended to my call, she would have had time! I guess it depends who is working at the time you come in the store. This night the idiot crew was working for sure! I would give this store a zero rating if I could. BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE! Do not come here to do your business printing. This location has the WORST customer service and organization that I have ever experienced while doing business with Office Depot for my business printing needs. Emailing them items to print is a waste of time. They do not send confirmations of receiving your email. YOU as the customer must always call them to get an update on your order or that they even got it in their queue. Which when you call, the order is done and someone just set it aside and must of forgot to call. Now that is if your order can even be executed properly. I had placed a order for note pads in store, paid up front, and had them redone twice because people lacked the ability to read the notes attached. Also, incurred making multiple visits up there to point this out to them when it should of been common sense. A manager ensured me it was not their normal operations of doing business. I have given them a few chances since. It's been about 2 months and in that time frame I have had 3 similar instances of lacking the customer service, quality, efficiency, and plain expectation that my trust could be placed in this locations "professional expertise" with my business printing. Just today I am going to have to drive up to the location to ensure my order is done correctly and that another order I put in almost a week ago is even ready because I can't get a response from them. I use this location because it is closer to my place of business but, I would rather drive the additional 15 minutes to the other location than CONSISTENTLY deal with the headaches and uncertainty of this store capability to do the job they advertise. Shopping at Office Depot yesterday was a positive experience. The employee that helped us was very helpful. My wife and I bought this Sauder executive desk. The majority of the desk is made from finished particle board. Did not know that when we bought it. The desk looks very nice, and matches the rest of the decorations (rug) in the front office room of our house. The instructions for assembly of this Sauder executive desk were very vague. Not enough detail in the instructions which caused us to have to redo a few steps along the way. it also said, not to use a drill. Which if we took that instruction would have added an extra 3 hours at least to the assembly. So, I recommend this store. But nothing with the name of Sauder on it. read more

Clean well stocked and friendly staff. The prices were a little high for my taste, for instance the plastic roll up mad for carpets and rolling chairs was 35$ but I guess you can't argue when they have a lot of other really good priced items. read more

TERRIBLE, RUDE service from PAUL in the print center. I went in requesting 10 sets of a document, and he informed me that I couldnt tie up all his copiers (1 other customer there a head of me in line), So I asked another employee if I could at least get 3 sets - It took less than 8 minutes to print them all. I said, Paul we just printed 3 sets in less than 8 mminutes, so it wouldnt tie up all your copiers, just 1 for about 20 minutes - he responded, yeah thats only 1/3 of what you need, but I'm impressed with your math skills. (yep, he just said that!) That comment was totally out of line, RUDE and uncalled for. I was appreciatve of Virgil, who stepped in and took care of my copy needs, but I would NEVER recommend this location to ANYONE!! read more

This location is awful. I placed a simple copy order for 4 pages. I assumed it would be completed within the hour time frame they claim. I went to the location and was simply told it wasn't ready. I wasn't given an estimate of time. I shopped for a couple of items thinking that I could wait a few minutes for my order to be completed. They clearly saw me standing and waiting, without any acknowledgement. I finally left and went home to wait. Four hours later I called to inquire and was told it hadn't been completed so I told them I thought that was way too long and seeing as I needed it before 8pm I asked it be canceled. No apology, no service, nothing. You guys do realize we now live in a climate where the most service-oriented companies win the business, right? Under no circumstances will I do business at this location, and potentially no longer with Office Depot. read more

I've purchased quite a few things at this Office Depot the past couple of years. The store is well laid out, prices are competitive (often beat even Costco), checkout personnel are courteous and efficient. But one thing recently really ticked me off. I purchased a printer here a few years ago which stopped working. I replaced it with another printer of the same series at this same Office Depot and brought the old one in for recycling. To my shock and amazement, they were going to charge me a fee to recycle it--$10-15. Not a lot, admittedly, but doesn't that fly in the face of the whole recycling thing? At any rate, I ended up taking it to BestBuy who took it gladly, without charge. read more

The worst customer service, old technology for cash register, made check out a long drawn out process with changing registers after a bad swipe of my credit card. Ridiculously sad customer service at check out with Steve. He could have made moving all of my items to my cart then moving to the next cash register.
