Horrible! I should have read the reviews! I went into to print. They gave me a card and told me to email to that address. I did. The responding email did not come back. I waited. Clearly no one wanted to help me or cared. I was to turn off WiFi. I had a strong signal. I did. still nothing. I was told to connect to their wifi. I did and nothing. When I said I guess it is not coming and I guess I am getting no help they asked me what email I sent from. I told them outlook. I was told outlook does not work well with their system. I was told 3 times that I was canceled and that my refund would take 5 to 7 business days to hit my account, and some how they managed to charge a card that I didn't give them. 4 times I have talked with a agent each time was told the same, membership is canceled and refund in 5 to 7 days, almost 2 weeks later and still no refund, talked with another agent last night and they actually got the membership canceled and said that I had been lied to from the other agents, I wouldn't be getting a refund! So now no refund and no membership! They will screw you out of your money!! And somehow able to charge cards that the customer never gave them!! FRAUD! read more

Came to this Office Depot with my grandfather and his brother, they were looking for a desk and the associate was trying to set them on a business Memeber ship or something of the sort. When we asked questions about the desk or the membership our questions were avoided and pushed off and the associate got more aggravated and rude after each question. After about 15-20 minutes of trying to understand an answer to our questions (which we still did not receive clarity ) she then said she had to step away. So as we were walking out the same associate we were dealing with told another one to catch us and try to sell the desk again. To which again, no answers. My grandfather saw a clearance sign for a laptop, when we switched topics to discuss purchasing a laptop, they then told us they were all out of stock. When we began to complain, he then said he had to step away. If I treated customers the way this Office Depot did I would be fired from my job. read more

On Saturday I had to get some resumes done so I went to the office Depot on Ramona boulevard in Jacksonville Florida, I went to the printing table and the lady by name of Miss Charlotte was feeding her face and had a stand there 10 minutes until she waited on me I explained I wanted some resumes done she walked over and grabbed some paper I made a recommendation why not have a book that has swatches you open the book up and they can look at the resume paper you have available hurry reply to me was we're good enough she handed me the paper and I looked at her I said well I need to print it up All of the printers were messed up, I made the comment wouldn't it be easier if I gave you the original resume and you print it up on your side and she said no. That tells me the next time I need resumes done to go to Kinko's/FedEx to get it done correctly I would never recommend office Depot to no one else except for office supplies read more

I'll make this brief. Certainly I won't put you in the agony that I was in by reading a long dissertation about how I'll never be back. I knew what I wanted when I went in for a simple amortization calculator and maybe a little customer service interaction from anyone who holds the title of customer service associate. I guess that was just too much for me to ask because I didn't get it at all. The guy that checked me out looked like sideshows Bob and have all of the personality of a serial killer. He seemed afraid of me when I was courteous and trying to initiate him to do his job. I almost left everything on the counter but I didn't want to trek over the city to find this thing that I knew available here. I wish good help was easy to find here but this is not the case. I went in to get my classroom stuff laminated. I will say they had my stuff laminated in about 20 mins and that's with the 15 mins for the machine to warm up. But I'm disappointed with how they charge you. They charge by the square foot. Ok I was alright with that until I saw how they laminated my stuff. They spaced stuff out really far to have me pay more. This was $32 for 20 sq feet. They could have easily put the month signs horizontal and fit four across. read more

Though it's a pretty small Office Depot compared to others I've been to, it was stocked pretty good. The clearance section was huge with a variety of items to choose from. Stuff like Bounty Paper Towels, candy, thumb drives, phone cords, mini flashlights, small toys, etc. Pretty much everything I was looking for to prepare for my return trip to Haiti. The small $1 bags were a huge find for me because they need them in Haiti when they go to the market so I always make sure I bring plenty! I was also here for Avery address labels and the only ones available was the ones for $40 which has 2000 labels. Too much for me and they didn't have the next size down so I must take my search to another store. Dirk, the cashier was extremely friendly and professional! When I told him I was purchasing these things to go to Haiti, he's the one that showed me the $1 bags! I was like WAY TO GO! Thanks!!! read more

Enter rat race to find CD-RWs!! I was at Staples trying to find these gems when I thought to consult Yelp. I called this location and the manager picked up. He was very cordial and accommodating even when he had several customers in line. I had to call back with a SKU number, so when I did, he let me know that there was one package left in the store He left it at the front cash register for me. When I got to the location around 6:30pm, I noticed that it's a bit off the road and in an old facility. The parking lot was very dark and not well lit, so I parked close to the building. The inside was clean, and there were three other customers in addition to me at the front. I decided to grab some sheet protectors as well. When I did, I noticed a fair amount of people at the USPS station in the back. This seemed to be a popular spot! The manager promised on the phone that I would receive the online price ($19.99 vs. $24.99 in store). The cashier honored this. Great customer service! read more

1st off this is the 8653 Baymeadows Rd, Jax Fl location AND Office Depots website. I had tried to order a print order to pick up at the store as I had to scan additional documents. I NEVER save my credit card to ANY sites, but I guess they chose to anyways! Also the papers showed up with lines of ink streaming down, and bent! So when I went to place my order mind you for 6 pages, it charged my card $13.95 without me even putting in my cards, AND mailed to to me! I contacted their online support and NEVER heard back. So then I had to go to the store pay AGAIN to print it, and do my scanning. The store employees were of no use just kept saying online orders have to be addressed online. Needless to say, IF I ever do business with them again (which I have been doing for my business I own) I will NOT trust their customer service both online or in store. And since I make it a point to NEVER save my credit card info on sites, they have SEVERELY lost my trust! Here's some tips Office Depot Online AND In Store Do NOT save customers credit card information when they say they don't want to. Respond to issues (I tried to cancel it immediately after you guys charged my card) Don't send out papers with toner ink stripes. Don't charge people without FIRST showing the total you will be charging! Have better associates that have an ounce of car or concern not just "Um you're gonna have to take that up with online" and didn't even look me in the eye. Don't make a customer wait 20 minutes to pay you when there was NO ONE there, she was shuffling things around with about 4-5 people waiting behind me, AND helped someone else that came after me that she seemed to know! read more

I've spent 15 minutes on hold here twice before I heard the phone pick up and drop, hanging up my call. I called back and asked in a super chill manner how long a hold wait was to talk to someone in the print center. This was answered by me being placed on hold a third time. I hung up. Waited 1 hour to print since one printer was out of service. When it was finally my turn to print the only printer in use stopped working. The lady behind the counter refused to print anything because she was backed up. Money was still taken out of my account and I had to leave without it printed. Ordered prints online and came to pick up my order. They had only printed half of it even though I had already paid for all of it. I had to wait for them to print the second half so what was the point of ordering ahead of time? The second half was way worse quality than the first half. Completely worthless. read more

I called the Office Depot on Baymeadows next to 95 in Jacksonville, Florida to see if a package that was printed, was ready for me to pick up. A gentleman answered quickly. After I told him what I needed, he said "hold on, i'll transfer you to the printing department". No one picked up. I live over 30 minutes away and didnt want to drive there if it wasnt ready. I decided I would jump in my car and drive over to get the package. It was supposed to be ready yesterday by 6:00 p.m., so fingers crossed it would be ready. I stayed on the phone, on-hold, the entire time. After arriving to Office Depot, I went to the printing department and asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was there. I explained to her that I was transferred to the printing department and no one ever picked up and I was still on-hold over 35 minutes at this point. Instead of saying "im sorry about that, how can help you"... I get " Well, there must be a misunderstanding and we've been busy, tomorrow is Fathers Day". Never an apology. Then a different employee goes over to the phone (which isnt ringing from being transferred over 30 minutes ago), and said "Oh there must be something wrong with our phone, the screen is black". Really...like all of the sudden you've been Soooooo busy but your phone stopped ringing and you didn't notice. I know exactly what happened. You unplugged it because you got tired of hearing it ring. Thats why it kept ringing on my end and not yours. After all of this, I ask about my package which she was having a hard time pulling it up under the persons name who ordered it, my name and the persons phone number who sent it. Then proceeds to tell me I should know the order number to pick up the package, as if im an idiot. Again, never apologizes for my long wait, etc. Managers, there were two emoloyees at the printing area and one customer. No reason their phone should be unplugged. Horrible service, organization and management. Store is dirty, shelves are a mess, waited 25 minutes for Dante to find an item that their inventory showed had 13 in stock before we realized he wasn't looking. He was helping the manager take care of customers in the copy area. The manager is too incompetent to handle a rush of maybe 4 customers in 1 area while someone helps customers on the floor? Ridiculous. Must be nice to work for a company with such low expectations. read more
