This concern is not about the staff but its more about the new onsite printing fees. I came after 2 pm to have something printed off my thumb drive because it ia a booklet and I provided my own paper. (I did the same thing in Feb). They now charge a 25% fee for same day support. Oddly enough I am not paying less because I used my own paper which I have done for several years now. I didnt complain but this new 25% charge. Office Depot really. You never have enough staff working so what is the extra charge covering? Time, energy, gas or convenience on your part. read more

They're open on Sundays, but there's only a few Employees so if you need assistance with something you may want to go during the week, they may have more employees Came in to find a few simple office items needs such as page protectors, envelopes, notebooks with prongs I also had to make copies. I did the self service copy option because it was just much quicker. So there's not much I can comment on customer service wise. The guy that checked us out was a nice friendly little guy and he was funny. They have everything you need office supplies wise. It just is a little pricey. read more

I had an excellent experience at this location. I am always greeted with a smile and a "Hello" when I enter the store (today's greeter and cashier was Tyler!). Katt was very friendly and willing to help you with anything that you need or questions that you may have. I've never been to a place so organized. Everything is labeled and easy to find. I had to purchase bubble wrap for my package to be mailed, and it was a simple process. They are the best in the area and I would highly recommend this Office Depot to everyone. read more

Acknowledge the customers as they are getting in line. Greet each customer and find out what service they are interested in. Instead of announcing to a line of waiting people if they need a service done at the counter, make sure you help the next person in line and find out what they need. I had a waiting customer behind me that was quick to cut in front of me for the same job of laminating. The sales associate overlooked that there was a waiting customer in front of them. I been coming here for years, but my last visit really didn't go as well, went in because I purchased a laminator. Was told they would return it unless it was purchased I think less then two weeks? I could be wrong on that. But the fact was I did purchase it a week prior and it broke. They tried everything possible to not exchange it, even saying they where going to help me by trying to make me feel dumb and say I didn't know how to use it. Well they plugged it. Didn't work then they proceeded to man handle it and take it apart on their own to fix it. At this point once they cracked it open I didn't want it anymore.. they couldn't fix it had issues putting it back together and wast waiting for them to say tough luck, cause I had my brave heart of shoppers speech ready... I was gonna go full spartan on the person after they destroyed the laminator... they told me to call the manufacturer, at this point with my best calm Karen voice I said listen, if I go buy another one right now and box this one u just broke even more and returned it as soon as I bought u would have to refund me.... person was like ahhh no cause I know what u did? I was like nope I'll come on a different shit or go to another store... As they start gathering their thoughts to say no again and as I get ready to place my Jesus Sandal foot on their chest and yell this is Sparta!!! Manager comes over and asks what's going on calmly.. they explain what happen and he says with out missing a beat, why you take it apart that was a waste of time just give him a new one keep the new ones box exchange and return the broken one... The man was a gods send I guess he saw the beads of sweat running down my forehead out of frustration... Staff are very nice and friendly. Unfortunately they are not well trained. I tried to ship a package and the very nice female staff member did not know how to use the new system. She wasted 10 minutes of my time. It would have been better for her to call someone over. If you plan on shipping anything here, do yourself a favor and ask the staff member to get someone who understands the new system. I had planned on shopping in the store but my time was wasted and I had to go. I have a Staples near where I live and usually have better luck there. I will not be back to this location. read more

I was in the other day and I'm a frequent customer to this store. Every single time someone is there to greet you as you walk in. The managers here are on another level of efficiency. I'm writing this review for Jacob the other day who (from the Scanning Center) could tell the cashier was busy and called me over to get checked out quicker. Furthermore, offered to not only check sale prices but asked to make sure I had the extra 5 mins to do so. 11/10 Jacob, you're a boss. read more

My computer was all fucked up, I had an attitude with the manager at first, which I still am sorry about. After I calmed down and went home to get my warranty these people were wonderful! From the manager to the god damn sales staff, each one of them were very patient with me, as I was of course frustrated still, and after the fucking people that I bought the warranty from were so god damn cockasaurus's, the manager Anthony (I think), said, "You know what? Go home, grab your laptop and the cord and I will personally take care of you." Dude, kept his word and helped me get my money back! Frequently mess up my simple print orders, i.e. color copies are received black and white, double sided card printed songle sided, etc. I'm over the mess ups and the snooty attitude I get from the girls who work in the print department, including the "manager" they put on the phone when I called to get corporates number. read more

Os a bad service they need more people here to attend the costumer I wait for more than 30 minutes only for print 2 copies and only 3 person in front of me, plus if you want to send a document from your smartphone to print you have to go out of the store to send it and back to inside the store, the have something to block your signal read more

Frustrating experience! I used their cute sign in kiosk, but then when my turn came the re-directed me to the self service line, which was readily apparent and I would've chosen if that's what I wanted. I was concerned my discount card wouldn't work there. They said it would. Then, the self service machine (there's only 2!) didn't like my discount card after all. Back to the counter.... they offered to help at the self service but now somebody else was there. sigh. big waste of time. read more

I went to Office Depot today, while it was raining. As soon as I got out of the car, the associate Anthony came to get me with an umbrella. He walked me into the store, so I could retrieve a cart to bring in several toner cartridges for return. He was unbelievably pleasant and helpful the entire time. I have been having issues with my laser printer, so Anthony provided a knowledgeable series of suggestions, that could potentially fit my needs. He recommended a Canon product, due to the toner going on sale regularly. He also recommended that if I could wait, I should, since his suggested product routinely goes on sale, which would save me over $100. Since I had so much toner for my now non-functioning printer, Anthony actually recommended that I either get my printer repaired or try to find a used printer on eBay that would take the same cartridges. He not only listened to my needs, but provided a recommendation that wouldn't benefit Office Depot, but would be most beneficial to me as a customer. I will most certainly be returning for any office supplies that I need! read more

I have never had such a wonderful experience shopping for a computer as I did at the Office Depot in Orange City, FL this week. Store Tech, Ed had the knowledge to help me pick our the HP laptop I needed and in my budget. From top to bottom, it was a perfect transaction. I left the laptop there to have downloads done. After Ed left in the afternoon, Store Tech, Emilee took over and finished what needed. It was flawless with them handling the sale. With their advice, I was able to bring the computer home and add Office which I purchased, transferred my virus protection and then continued the work I needed to do before my 6 year old computer had "crashed". read more

I asked an employee for help but he couldn't bother to get up out of his computer chair to show me where they might be. basically said if I couldn't find them myself than they must be an online purchase only and didn't even attempt to direct me or assist. I have always been an Office Depot fan, but this store has almost convinced me to go to another chain. I recently changed jobs and my new office location is closest to this store. I do a lot of printing there and every single time I have gone I have had to wait at least 30 minutes for service even on two occasions where there was nobody else there. Last week I went in to pick up an order for a whiteboard that I ordered online. I went to online pick up and checked in. After 45 minutes with nobody even speaking to me I had to go back to work. I went to Office Depot for a drafting compass. I found one but couldn't find the replacement pencil lead. I found two employees in the main aisle. They didn't even acknowledge me, they were to busy talking about were they were going on vacation. So I waited and waited and waited. It made me feel like the $5 I was going to spend there didn't really matter. I finally leaned against the counter to wait some more. I guess this annoyed them enough that they had to acknowledge me. The one couldn't find what I needed so he called someone else. When she came over and found out they didn't stock the replacement lead she suggested that I go try hobby lobby. I told her I wasn't going to do that I came to there store for a reason. She then just turned and walked away. I'm 60 years old and been around a lot of different people in my life and I can't remember ever having been treated with such disrespect. I can't see how this store will make it much longer. read more
