The manager and employee assisted locating a new home printer machine while making a decision between an HP or Brother. The prices for the printers are on sale but the ink is insanely priced, even online. This store provides a great self serve copier section with seven machines for customer use. Shipping services are available through Fed-Ex. The Sticky Notes (those multi-colored little square sticky pages) prices have gone through the roof and was laughable (See Pic). One of the better Office Depot locations I've ever been to. Every single employee, greeted and they were very engaged with doing their tasks. Store was clean & very organized. All the shelves were neatly organized and team was efficiently stocking the shelves. First time in the location and it certainly be my go to from now on. I managed to scoop up a few items on sale. I haven't been to an Office Depot in FOREVER!!! I came here to recycle my inkjet/toner cartridges. Did you know you can recycle up to 10 inkjet/toner cartridges per month and get $2/cartridge Office Depot rewards towards next purchase? It takes about 2 weeks for rewards to show up. I find most items at Office Depot to be pricey but you can certainly find good deals or promos. Also check out their clearance center for good finds. I've been looking for a new laptop bag and they have a nice selection too. Still deciding. The service here is also good. I had a nice cashier who was very friendly. It's been awhile since I've been into a Office Depot, so much have changed. Went to the office center, to get some items copied and laminated. It was all self service, which did not mind at all. But when I asked for a bit of help the employee, at the service desk, she seemed pretty overwhelmed, she then responded Maam, I can't help. Even though she was unable to help me. I hope, this employee day gets better. Sending her some positive vibes, this is a reminder that some people are blessings , when they show up for work! read more

Came in to have my mother's covid card laminated. There were 2 employees behind the counter but only 1 helping a customer. At one point there were 3 employees behind the counter. The customer who was being helped was doing a specialty order so it was taking some time. I waited for about 15 min and not once did anyone acknowledge me or the customer who was behind me. They don't laminate the original because some of the inks that are used smudge when laminated. They make a copy of your card and then laminate the copy. I think that's a great idea because if you need a booster, you still have your original card that they can add on to. read more

You know those chains you forget exist until you need something specific from there? That's Office Depot for you. Prior to the last month or so, I can't seem to recall the last time I stepped foot inside one of these. I work in an office, sure, but we order our supplies online and have them delivered. As for personal supplies, I usually only need paper and pens, and well, you can get those anywhere. But eh, this became my go-to now for two occasions. OCCASION #1: We went to my storage unit and picked up a few things. Among those things was my paper shredder that fell and broke. I was gifted a replacement later that day and this is where we stopped. So far so good as the new shredder has been doing its job and even shreds CDs and credit cards, which was the main thing I wanted. OCCASION #2: Everyone decided to go to Walmart and empty out their school supplies. Minimal to no binders, sheet protectors, even college-ruled paper. Absolutely insane and we are in the middle of January. Needless to say, I got fed up, bit the bullet, and wound up here again. So yes, thanks Office Depot for filling a very particular niche that I've surprisingly been needing lately. I appreciate you, even if I do think your prices could be more reasonable. read more

I placed an online order for pickup for an electric sharpener. Though it said next day, it was ready within 2 hours and it was easy to pick up. However, once I opened it, I saw that it was used (pieces shavings still on the container) and it did not work. This shows me that they do not check returns, as this is completely y unacceptable to sell me a used and defective item as a brand new $40 sharpener. read more

This is for the Office Depot on Pines AND tower shops. All I wanted was a blown up poster, on matte paper, for a baby shower. I've done this before, in store with the print shop. Apparently now have have to pay for it in advance, online and can pick it up the same day as long as it's ordered before 2pm. Okay. No problem. Sounds great. I order exactly what I want, and pay for it online because I have to which is so stupid because what if I don't like it? Whatever. Office Depot decides to call me 5 hours later to let me know they don't have matte paper in stock and don't know when they will have it back in stock. They offer to print it on glossy paper for no additional charge. First of all, I wanted matte because it will be outside in the sun but I'm willing to negotiate. I will deal with the glossy paper if you mount it on the foam board for me for no additional charge. Lady on the phone can't do that. I ask for a manager, but apparently she is the manager. So she's willing to give me nothing I paid for or wanted. I'm too annoyed so I just cancel the order. ONLINE IT SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME IT WASN'T IN STOCK, OFFICE DEPOT. WHATS THE POINT OF SAME DAY SERVICE IF ITS NOT WHAT YOU WANTED???? WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME 5 HOURS LATER TO EXPLAIN THIS??? Thankfully, I don't need it for another week. So I order with the Pines Blvd Office Depot the same exact thing that I wanted. Print shop calls me 2 hours later to explain that they do have the matte paper, but no foam boards, and will not have any in stock anytime soon. I explained what just happened at the other Office Depot, so I asked if I go buy the foam board from Michaels the exact size, if they will just mount it for me. She says yes. I'm fine now. I go after work that day and bring in the board I just bought and they tell me they're too busy to mount the poster to the board. I explain the lady told me they would do it right away when I bring in the board. "Look at it in here I have no time to do that for you" is what I got. I explained I wanted it done by 12 tomorrow considering it should have been done today. They agree to that. I call at 11 the next day to make sure they're working on it considering how horrible their communication and customer service has already been. The lady at the register wants to keep transferring me to the print shop that hasn't answered for 5 minutes on hold three times. I explain to her that now I'm livid and need her to physically get off her behind and check for me. Nope, it's not being worked on she explains. I explain the situation that it should have been ready yesterday and I need it within the hour. She says I will make sure it gets done within the hour. Guess where I'm writing my review? IN THE OFFICE DEPOT CHAIRS IN THE BACK OF THE STORE BECAUSE IT WAS. NOT. READY. STILL!!!!! I very rarely review on yelp, but I had a great experience at this Office Depot location. I had received a pack of pens I already owned, so I returned it for some store credit. It seems the pens had been out of the system for a while, but the operations manager (I didn't catch her name, but she was awesome) gave me the current price for them. Not only that, she was also very friendly and efficient. She noticed I was buying school supplies because I'm a teacher, and immediately offered me their seasonal teacher discount. Will definitely be returning to this location in the future because of that exceptional customer service! read more

If I could give it a -5 star review I would. Spoke to the printing manager last week to print a engineering blue print. He said no problem. We couldn't get there on that day so I sent my asistant today and now he is not there and the person working in printing says they can't do the engineering one but they can do poster style for 25 times the engineering price. Came in to use the copy machines. Two out of the three machines were not working. The machine that was working: you had to swipe your card before you even begin... So if you make copies and it doesn't come out right (too light etc) I'm guessing you get charged. Employees were just standing around talking, no one said hello when I walked in, no one offered their assistance. I definitely won't be returning here. read more

I went to this location 2nd. The first location did not have what I needed & didn't offer any assistance. I then arrived here & as soon as I walked in Stacy came over with a huge smile & helped me. What I needed was locked up. I was in a rush, needed to get back to work. She told me I could wait at the register & she would bring it up. Which she did very quickly. The customer service here is just plain horrible. Went in to find an envelope for a large mailing. No one was around to help (or be overly helpful). Then, trying to save time, I decided to use their USPS mailing area. Yeah. Didn't save any time. The lady started helping me then walked away and started helping another customer. Finished with that customer and started helping another one. 30 minutes later, my package was finally mailed off (hopefully it will get to its destination). I am not impressed with this Office Depot. Just ran in to get a new keyboard for my desktop and the customer service was fabulous. I believe his name was John, but could be wrong. He opened up a box so I could try out the keyboard because there wasn't a display model. When I was done he asked what else I needed and I told him copy paper. He carried my keyboard and took me to the paper. He asked how much I need and showed me the cheapest paper (which I asked for). He carried the paper and keyboard to the register for me and the cashier was also pleasant. I will be back again. read more

I also remembered that i needed to purchase a DVG to HDMI adapter so i searched around. I couldnt find it so i was ready to leave. As office service suppliers go this is hit-and-miss for me. I am mostly here for the copy center, which is generally understaffed. But to balance it out it is far more economical than the FedEX Office down the street. I think Office Depot needs to pick a direction because they can't efficiently run their brick-and-mortar store AND copy center services effectively with the current staffing. So in general it has the products I need, but takes hits for slow delivery of the services I need. You're better off doing your printing at home or going to a print shop, this is good in a pinch and gets a plus for hours of operation. read more

The service was excellent! We needed to print a program, a seating chart and a couple of signs we had created for our wedding and Emmanuel was super helpful in getting all of it done! He worked with us until we had everything printed out and did so with care, professionalism and a lot of patience. Stopped in to make a fee copies for an event I was hosting. Used the self service copiers and noticed a sign that said to bring my receipt to the registers after I had made my copies. After using the machines, no receipt printed so I stood in line at the copy area and inquired with the attendant who told me there was an option to print a "report" which is what I would then take to the registers. I go back to the copier and no such option exists. By this time the line had grown again so I just took my copies to the register to pay. The cashier then proceeds to overcharge my for my copies, assuming that the attendant made the copies for me. I corrected her and she adjusted the price but what irked me about it was the fact that she just rang it up at the higher price without asking which option I used. I'll probably return to this location to make a purchase but not for their customer service. read more
