Great customer service! I had an office chair that I just bought that needed to be exchanged. Marta helped me by greeting m at the door. I handed her the receipt and she was fast and efficient! She was also very professional. She had me on my way in no time. Office Depot is charging significantly more than the listed Brother retail price for the P-Touch PT-D610BT label printer. The Brother USA website lists the retail price as $99.99, but Office Depot is selling it for $124.99. Office Depot Customer Service was not willing to fix this issue or offer compensation. read more

No stars!!! They get you to turn in your depleted printer cartridges and supposedly give you a $2 credit for each. So I did that and turned in 5 and should get a $10 credit on my next purchase. Did not happen. I tried to order more cartridges online and now rewards credit showed up as promised. So I went back to the store and they said, Oh you have to buy something in the store for $10 first and then you'll get a $10 credit for a purchase after that. So you really don't get a credit at all for turning in the cartridge. I bet they get more than $2 each for sending them back to HP. And have you noticed they charge $15 for a pack of computer paper that you can get anywhere else for $5 !! RIP OFF Plus printer cartridges are much cheaper at Walmart and Staples. RIP OFF. read more

Initially went to send a fax and scan a document. Employees in the print section were very pleasant and helpful. Once I finished I did some back to school shopping for my granddaughter and found some great buys. The staff was very friendly and accommodating whenever I needed assistance. This location is a bit out of the way for me but I'll drive for quality customer service. Thanks to the great team at this location. read more

Called to ask a question about an order I was placing online - the woman who answered seemed 100% not interested in helping she mumbled her name so no idea who it was and when I asked a question about printing she put the phone down. Apparently she was going to get someone else but typical, basic phone manners would suggest that you say something in the way of "hold on just one minute while I get someone that can help you". It's really not that difficult. The guy who picked up the phone seemed entirely confused. Just close your store. You're useless. read more

They should rename this place Office Depot of the Dead. Need help? You won't get it. Lookin' for cheap prices? None here. The employees just watch you - like bird watchin' but you're the bird. If you're lucky enough to catch somebody they probably don't have what you need and probably can't get it. Remodeling doesn't make up for poor service. read more

The staff went above and beyond to help me with my project. I came in with a family album that I needed copying. They not only suggested a better way to do it than just copying it. They also were aware of the condition of the album and made suggestions, so I did not ruin it in the process. The final product is just exactly what I wanted, and the original is undamaged thanks to their forethought and ideas. I will recommend them for their outstanding customer service in the future! I'd give zero stars or less if I could....Rachael M's review from 10/6/2016 is spot-on...........I went in for four printing jobs. 200 of each. Marketing materials for an important company trade show. What a disaster. I would not have used them again except my corporate colleagues in California said "Use Our Office Depot" account. I certainly will NOT ever use this place again. The young untrained and unknowledgeable young counter-lady (probably a week on the job) who took my order said they could not duplicate the same exact job they did a year ago, even as I provided identically the same files to her this time. Nope, she said, I don't know how to do that...They probably could have because they did a year ago, she being untrained just didn't know how to do anything but hit the Print Button in Acrobat Reader. So, I gave her the second more simple job, which was to print double-sided color portrait style 8 1/2 x 11 on decent quality paper. They messed it up.....I picked out some nice paper called "Nevertear". Nice quality stock. I got a phone call an hour later saying "Sorry we can't print double-sided on Nevertear"...I could not return to pick a new stock, so I said "use something equally as nice"..."use your judgment". What I got the next day when I picked it up was a box of 200 embarrassing junk items that can't be used. I cannot give this junk out to my customers... Not only did the choice of paper stock look and feel like cheap junk....they left in the print alignment marks of the edges (something a real print shop know how to align and adjust for) and the copy was at about 80% size of what it should have been....with 2" margins with alignment marks. Who does that?????? Rookies. Again, all they have is Acrobat Reader. These folks are not real printers. They have a nice printer and not much else. But even far worse by a factor of 10: the response by the second and more senior employee the next day at pickup of the order. When I voiced my unhappiness with my TOTAL experience, showing her the crap she just handed me...not anything like what I ordered....she was downright rude and dismissive. As I walked away, I heard her laughing and mocking me to another employee, to which I again and in no uncertain terms loudly and forcefully expressed my total and complete unhappiness with the quality of the work and the poor attitude and lack of customer service. She just gave me the "uh-huh look" and a dismissive "urban head wag". Only thing I didn't get was the middle finger. Totally rude person. She's got a real attitude problem and if she worked for me, she'd be looking for a new job. A few minutes later, while driving... I called the store to speak with the Manager. The same person answered and told me "the manager is away and won't return till a week from tomorrow". Nice. Not a believable story, nonetheless I asked for whoever was in charge TODAY....and she put me on hold for Steven. Fifteen minutes on hold....No One Answered. I noticed while I was in the store....that the place was barren, like a morgue....and deserted. Maybe one customer, but I doubt it. I for one will exercise my prerogative to never use this store again.....and root heavily for their demise. If you want poor service, high prices and rookie junk from the print shop, feel free to honor Office Depot in Prince Frederick with your business. I'm calling my credit card company now to file a dispute for the crap they gave me. I'm also elevating my complaint to the regional Office Depot offices....since Stephen coun't find the time to chat today. Too bad I had to even give them one star. 3 weeks ago I went there to buy a new laptop . I like to buy in the county when I can. Nobody asked if I needed help while I was looking at the laptops. I figured maybe because of the remodeling going on . So my laptop finally stopped working last night. I went by tonight and was the only customer in the store . I walked in as started looking at laptops and nobody asked if I needed any help. The 2 guys up front just kept chatting , the guy right next to me in the service booth never said a word and the ladies in the back couldn't have seen me . So again no service and I will go to Best Buy again to buy my laptop. Thinking back this place has always had terrible customer service. read more

This is by far the worst Office Depot I have ever patronized! I ordered business cards online and paid extra for same-day service. Not only were my cards not available on the same day, but the next day when they were finally available, I went to pick them up and they were awful! They were not even rectangular and they look like they had been cut by a four-year-old with left-handed scissors! These were embarrassing and if I were Office Depot there would be no way I would try to pass it off as a professional product. Moreover, since I paid in advance online as required, I was not offered the opportunity for a cut-rate or my money back for something I absolutely cannot use. The staff was rude disinterested and not knowledgeable at all about their own procedures. This place should just shut down. Forget about remodeling, if your service is this bad, putting up new walls is pointless. I will take all of my business elsewhere, and encourage all of my associates to do the same read more
