Needed Fax service [Roseville CA] I needed to use a fax service and I don't have access to a fax machine from my work since I am currently on leave of absence and I didn't own one at home. I called around our local postal stores and home office supply stores. Office Depot seemed to be the most reasonably priced. I had 3 pages to fax and an employee helped me through the process. He was very nice and patient. Rate was reasonable. First page was free and $2 thereafter. Other employees in the store I came in contact with were also nice and greeted me. The Fax machines were in the same area as the TSA Precheck enrollment/renewal service. Overall satisfied with the experience. It's very rare I visit an office supply store. They have 9mm, 7mm and 5mm lead and the erasers to fit many mechanical pencils. Most places have no 9mm lead and Pentel erasers.

It's been so long since I forced to buy something at an actual storefront for anything office or computer related since everything is online. I went to this store after I ate some food with friends. It's like a blast from the past.This store did have everything from software,to paper goods,to office phones, desk chairs and even ground coffee. The selection were slim when it came to choices and brands. It's sad that stores are closing yes,but they can't compete with online prices and choices. The store was close to empty as well maybe one other person in this giant store.. Definitely way more employee than customers..I hope stores can do something soon or they will al close..:( read more

9/9/2019: My brother, Albert bought me an Office Depot gift card which I have used, since February 2019 religiously. So far, I have used the gift card making B&W copies, purchased office supplies, and now, I need a wireless mouse for my panel TV. Happily, I must announce: I paid $22.00 on sale for Logitech's smooth operating, wireless mouse; $17.00 was subtracted from $36.00 normal price! Wow~I'm extremely elated purchasing this mouse due to its ergonomic usage. Typically, I have discovered mouses aren't always ergonomically friendly whereas the Logitech mouse I recently purchased didn't constrict my wrist's movement: Obviously, it's key avoiding the hazardous occupation of carpel tunnel syndrome while using computers and/or laptops, i.e., choosing the correct peripherals will save your body from repetitive motions and harmful disabilities! read more

I know I did this store a review either Here or on Google. That time I was treated right and had a great sales person Mercedes. Last time I went there I was helped by a tall Stupid troll. But really it wasn't all his fault. See my picture I was doing a pick up order and had started doing that and noticed that when you pick it up you're supposed to have a 10 off 30 coupon attached...the other times I didn't need anything When I didn't see the coupon, so didn't ask about it but this time I thought I'd stock up on coffee. I went in to get my order and the coupon wasn't there so I asked about it and he pulled one out of the drawer... Then he told me that it wasn't good yet, so I asked if I could take it with me And use it when it was good and he said no...I chatted with somebody online and they sent me another coupon To use online... I couldn't get it to work as this has happened many times in the past. I ended ordering another order of coffee To be delivered to my house when it was on sale... That went smoothly. Then about a week ago I got some coupons again in mail and I try to order and the coupon said they weren't valid. They try to make it tricky with o's and zeros I tried at least seven times. That was my final straw... You guys are lucky to have customers you're in such a shitty area. I feel like I'm gonna get mugged when I go there anyway. So I just had a fantastic order from Staples very easy to use and they have great reorder prices for coffee if it's on auto refill. I also received a prompt email from the store General Manager in response to an issue I had that the store had no control over. His email was understanding and professional. The printing service here was great! I originally went to staples since it's closer but had issues with my print and getting help there. I put in an order for this store and it was ready first thing the next day (WAY before the eta). There was a small issue with my print but Victor was able to fix it within a few minutes! He was kind, professional and made a night and day difference for me on my print project! I will be taking all of my future print work here, it's worth the drive! read more

He allowed me to use the in-store computer because I was not able to access the website to make my banner on my phone. He even gave me a 30% discount. Supplies generally ordered on line but, I found the best deal there on a file cabinet and it was quicker to pick it up then have it delivered. I have struggles with ordering online; however, I went into the store the gentleman that helped me was proficient, and very sensitive to my disability (he took me to a couch to wait for him) and because I am a bit worried about COVID he made sure after I signed paperwork to have sanitizer provided. He loaded my car (it was over 100 degrees out); also he assisted with me obtaining a service to put my two drawer vertical file cabinet together at home. I used Apollo and my appointment was within a week (unheard of these days) the gentleman arrived promptly he did a very good methodical job of putting the furniture together; he was knowledgeable he didnt leave a mess, he was very respectful and wore mask and booties. My review is based upon the phone experience I just had. The store did not have the exact calendar I'm looking for, but the customer service associate was a solid help. He gave me the current item number (changes every year, thanks Blue Sky, not), the Office Depot number, and let me know the Madison Avenue store had a couple. I called the Madison Avenue store and the gal there was friendly and grabbed it off the shelf to hold it for me to pick up! This is customer service as it should be. Takes a few minutes and saves me more than a gallon of gas and an hour of my time! He hooked up a printer for me and let me try it out, and when I wasn't pleased with the results he showed me a different one. Superb service! The Husband and I came to this Office Depot location because he was looking for a bunch of those colored garage sale dot stickers for work and this location was the most convenient. The shopping center doesn't have any big stores that would draw a bunch of cars and traffic (it's next to a Goodwill and a few small restaurants) so the large parking lot is always very empty. The whole shopping center is super super dated and needs a face lift outside and a remodel inside because it feels like I have traveled back in time. We weren't helped by any employees on our visit except for the cashier (even though the place was dead) but we were able to find the dots we were looking for after a small search. They had multiple colors and sizes so it was a nice selection. The store is a little smaller than your average office supply store but still carries everything that you need. Everything was organized, easy to find and looked to be mostly in stock. We also purchased some pens ($10 for 3?!) and hightailed it out of there. No customer service I wandered down every aisle in the store looking for printer cleaner sheets for 20 minutes with out any contact from store personnel. I got to the register was repeatedly asked for a telephone number to which I said "No" to repeatedly.I only made a purchase of $11.30 paid with cash three $5 bills that had to be verified as legitimate currency. Who money launders or counterfeits $5 bill then spends 75% of cash tendered to walk out the store with $3.70 it was insulting, a waste of my time and customers in line behind me. I would give you that if I bought $11.30 worth of merchandise and paid with $100 bill but with three $5 bill get the heck out here that ridiculousness. I will either go to Staples or any other office products store than this one or any other OfficeDepot/Max. Epic failure and with the amount of foot traffic through this store that I saw you cannot afford to lose customers or reputation. read more

I'd love to provide a positive review, however my experience at Office Depot was less than stellar. As we walked into the store there was a large sign that advised if you downloaded the Office Depot app, you would received 25%off your order for copies. We then went to the copier section and downloaded the app In hopes of taking advantage of this special. As we stood there, there were two people ahead of us and two people working behind the counter. After 45 minutes of waiting in the line, one employee left, and the only remaining clerk took a 10 min phone call PRIOR to assisting the huge line waiting for assistance. The reason I have an issue with this is that the clerk never addressed the line, people were holding boxes in their hands for like 40mins, and none of the other 5 employees in the building even bothered to assist us. Once we were helped, I asked Stan (clerk) if he could make copies for us so I could take advantage of the coupon as the self serve printer doesn't allow this. . He then advised, our order would take too long (photocopying about 100 pages) and that if we wanted our copies immediately, we would need to use the self serve copier, which also did not allow for use of the coupon. How does that make sense?!? Anyway, after we served ourselves, the line finally cleared and Stan asked if we needed help. Yes Stan, I did. Like over an hour ago?!?! Anyway, he must have felt bad, because he took our receipt afterward and gave us 20% off after the fact, instead of 25% off that was posted on the sign. My complaint: 1.) store is rundown. A lot of the equipment seemed to be broken. 2.) The employees (besides Stan) weren't very helpful to customers or even Stan. 3.) Stan advised this is par for the course. He stated he's usually the only one working copies section on the weekend and it gets very backed up. 4.) customer service is lacking as well as their efficiency. read more

What I really liked was that when you walked in there was a greater making sure everyone was wearing a mask and at checkout the cashier was cleaning the card machine after every use, and she was super friendly! This review is strictly for the Copy and Print center of Office Depot. I came in on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 and Jene was able to help me out. She mentioned she was slammed in the back and they were backed up on jobs. I came in with my own labels and USB and I just needed 3 sheets of papers printed out. Jene offered a sample and went above and beyond to quickly help me while being time efficient with her other jobs before mines. There was a small dilemma in my job so she offered me some other solutions to work on. She was kind and even though it was overwhelming with the other work she had to do, she handled my situation in an extremely mannerly way and sent me home with hope that I could come back and still get it done. I came back around 7pm to the same location and Bailey greeted me. I explained my situation to her and I had another small dilemma with my PDF file. She had a quick solution and the second go worked fine. She was able to get me in and out in he span of five minutes. Bailey was an absolute sweetheart and gave quick efforts and made the experience more calming. I truly appreciate the efforts because I know how overwhelming it is to be in Copy and Print with due dates and demanding workloads. Thank you so much to both the ladies who helped me. You both were delightful and I will definitely continue my business here with Office Depot for as long as the customer service is wonderful. When ever I had need some office supplies this where I go. The copy paper is way cheaper and so is the toner cartridges And those things are expensive. I was looking at lighting and adding machines.
