Our laptop is a model no longer being produced, so it was a question if we needed to replace it, even after updating software. I have had several laptops and phones repaired here over the years, and have always been very happy, but yesterday I stopped by after wasting my time with Geek Squad at Best Buy. (I don't know why it didn't occur to me to stop at MNM for my headphone audio need.) The guys were AMAZING and found exactly what I needed to make our two sets of Sony headphones work on my laptop so we can watch and listen to movies together on an upcoming bucket list trip. It may seem silly, but this was a big stress reliever for me and an important item to cross off my list. I will remember to stop at MNM first for anything electronic related in the future. I gave them a call about my radio seemed like they might help they told me to come by would have been nice if they replied a little more on the texts to see if they could fix my radio with the pics I sent them. Talk about Old School!! These guys transported my phone to my house 'after hours' because it was Saturday; they wanted me to have my phone for the weekend. This is old school customer service; like the Milk Man dropping off your milk at the door; like an actual gas attendant pumping your gas. Seriously though, I couldn't believe it. He must have felt bad because the repair wasn't done before closing, so they finished it, called me, at drove it to my house. These guys have been in business for a very long time, and it shows. Super helpful and excellent service/skills. I needed them to do some micro soldering to remove a bad transistor/chip from my BMW fuel pump module, and replace it with a new transistor/chip that had to be removed from another board. They told me to come down so they could check it out in person. I showed up, he said he could do it no problem, and even went as far as starting it right then and there so I didn't have to leave my car in their parking lot and uber home and back. They had it replaced/repaired in 20 minutes, and the work looked perfect/just as new. Would definitely recommend them for any electronics work read more

Amazing mom and pop business that has been around for 25 years! I went to UbreakIfix to get my shattered screen fixed, and they said it would take 2 hours and cost $130. I happened to come across M & M computers so I walked inside and came out fifteen minutes later with a fixed screen with a screen protector on it and a new case for $100. Absolutely thrilled. Highly recommend. Very nice owner as well. read more

I needed help transferring my PC hardware to a new Corsair case along with installing 10 new Corsair fans, 2 fan controllers, and a new GPU. Kyle at M&M Computers was very helpful with this. He told me that it would be done by the end of the day. It took less time than I expected and I was able to pick it up an hour and half before they close at 6PM. Yoga Bear Computer Repair that I have used many times in the past is a snail by comparison. It was a great experience and I will be returning for my PC needs in the future. read more

I have had a very positive experience with M&M Computers. I went to this shop 2 times now. 1st time they disassembled my Alienware laptop but charged me $0 because the overheating was not fixed. Today I replaced the fans because I broke it and changed the cpu thermal paste, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste. I originally came here because my CPU fan broke but they helped me change the thermal repaste along with the CPU replacement labor. No additional charges were made just because I wanted a new thermal paste. For around 2 years of overheating with the gaming laptop, I can safely say today it is not CPU throttling or overheating running games or video editing anymore. This was also fixed in 2.5 hours which was surprisingly quick. A normal person would take 6-7 hrs for this full disassemble, and I'm an IT/computer person This was a very positive experience for me so every computer problem that I can't fix myself I will go here! 5 Star review read more

PROBLEM: PS3 wouldn't stay on, game stuck inside, and I wanted it repaired. Technician called back, gave me some options, then completed my request (to remove the game disk). After thorough testing she advised the console experienced massive overheating issues. My options were, she could do a thermal cleaning, but couldn't promise the console would be functional or simply recover the disk. I asked her to remove the disk and recycle the console. They provided excellent, professional, and friendly customer service. They are my gaming repair station. read more

My PlayStation 5 stopped reading discs a few months out of warranty and Sony wanted me to ship it back and pay $230. I called M & M who were the only shop out of 5 others around to say they could fix it. His initial diagnosis ended up being correct, bad laser. I brought my laptop in for repair last August because of a Bios error continuing to pop up with constant fan running as a result of water damage. Several months later I'm having the same issues. I initially paid $150. M&M now wants $130 to reinstall software that they allege is corrupt. I will not be doing business with M&M ever again. Their repairs are temporary! read more

When I called to explain the issue, I expected them to stand behind their work and repair it free of charge. Instead, I was met with some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. After I sent them a photo of the screen, they immediately blamed me, told me it was my fault, and even said they were "not a magician" and refused to fix it under warranty. There was no attempt to troubleshoot the issue or stand behind their own work. I ended up taking my phone to another repair shop for a second opinion. They told me the screen had been installed incorrectly, which explained the problems I was having. They also told me the replacement screen appeared to be an extremely low-quality part and commented that many reputable repair shops won't even use parts like that because they're known to cause problems. Between the poor workmanship, the apparent low-quality parts, and the unbelievably rude customer service, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a business. Instead of taking responsibility for what appears to have been an improper installation, they blamed the customer and refused to make it right. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and go somewhere that actually stands behind its work. I wish I had.

He's been "My Device Repair Guy" for atleast 5 years now, and he has earned a 5 star review from every trip I've made to see him.. I'm consistently breaking my ancient iPhones in various ways, and he's always able to accommodate me, his repairs are always of good quality, and he even did some work outside of his wheelhouse customizing my Steam Deck for me and did a good job with that too.. I believe his establishment also sells used phones, phone accessories, phone plans, and cyrpto too if your into that sorta thing. Screw going to the national chain for these services, Franks the man, he's nice, he's local, he's got your back. Pay him a visit, give him a try, you wont be disappointed, then you'll have your own Device Repair Guy too! =]

I brought my iPad in for repair yesterday and they quoted me $100 (which I signed for). They called…read moreme back today and tried to tell me I had not signed a price agreement and that it would be $210. I went in to see if they would work with me on this, but they would not. If I were a small- business owner, I would eat the $110 for the sake of keeping the business of a family of 4 who has been coming to them for years (they have made $800 off my husband's phone this past year alone!!). If they had even met me halfway or something, that would have made me feel better. Nope, nothing. At least they refunded the $70 deposit I had given them yesterday.
