Truly some of the slowest and most helpless customer service from the print department. My wife and I go in there 2x a week to get maybe 10-15 regular pages printed each time and it takes *hours*. The lady there does not know how to functionally operate a basic email attachment. Each time it is done with a huff and a puff and a long sigh. Nobody is forcing you to work feel free to get a different job. Even worse, nobody answers the phone when I went to complain directly to a manager. Went in looking for an office chair. The selection was pretty slim, with most of them being leather or pleather, which wasn't what I was looking for. The prices were really high, like sticker shock high, and most of the chairs were running between 350 to 500. Definitely nothing much on the lower end of the spectrum here to chose from. They did have some Veterans Day sales still running, but I'm going to check a few other places and do some comparison shopping before committing to a purchase here. read more

This store usually has the best deals on blank DVDs & CDs. I can find the lowest sale prices here more than any other kind of store that sells blank DVDs & CDs. Sometimes you might have to wait a week or two but rarely. Wait times for a cashier are short if any. Usually there is no waiting at all. They will also take your empty printer ink cartridges and recycle them for you. read more

This office inperticular this young lady who helped my family to get thru this difficult time of making up the funeral cards went above and beyond to make it as smooth as possible. We call this in the hospitality industry the WOW factor!! These type of employees we cherish because you never know what a client is going thru and what walk there walking in. Her name is Christine. We are so quick to write bad news when were treated bad or bad food. Very slow or not at all how great the experience was. I've always had great experiences with the print center. I am a designer and often need nice quality color prints. For documents, I've never had any problems. Then I needed some rush business cards printed. Why even provide a bleed if the cards aren't even going to be trimmed correctly? Only 31/100 of the cards I purchased are useable. read more

This is the local Office Max that I frequent. It is located in a strip mall along with a Frys, Ross, Target, several eating places, etc., which makes it convenient to stop into if you are running other errands. You can usually find parking very close, and it is rare that I have ever encountered lines with more than one or two people ahead of me. Staff is always friendly and always willing to help you find items you can't locate. read more

Needed some audio CDs since the one we burnt didn't work. I was worried they were all out at first but luckily I was in the wrong section.

You wonder why this place is going out of business. They have horrible polices. I repeat don't purchase anything from them most all warranties. They don't handle their own warranties the instead pass it off to a company by the name SquareTrade. Here is what squaretrade does they tell you to file a claim and once you file a claim you are then told call the company of the product you bought. Horrible so then you get to call epson who is even worse with their customer service. This place of course don't tell you this and have a very poor attitude and ads clueless at this Oro Valley store. If you have a company that won't take a return when the printer doesn't print and you purchase a two year warranty and have not even had it for 3 months. I hope this company goes out of business because of amazon and all the employees are gone. read more

I just came from there. Needed to print out a copy from my email, I'd sent over. It was for a coupon I needed for a dire prescription. The copy machines there are screwed up. On the printer it states if you need help turn to the right and the employee behind the counter would help me. The kid there was too busy sitting there on his cell phone and basically blew me off for almost a half hour. I ended up with blank copies after I switched back and force between the two machines, hoping I'd get lucky. I thought I was in Vegas dealing with a couple of one arm bandits. The kid continued to just sit there telling me that it takes time. "The file might take some time...just wait." What file...it was a pdf file of a simple coupon from an RX company I'd sent over. After a number of long and unsuccessful attempts, it spit out a nearly blank sheet with a few words across it. Meanwhile...this kid continued to just sit there with his face in his phone. So I left and here I'm left with no script as it's to expensive for me to afford without the coupon. WOW...from now on I'll just need to use a thumb drive and take my business somewhere else. I know I wasn't the first person to experience such unprofessionalism, as who ever was using the machine before me left without canceling their order. I purchased a HP Printer Ink Combo Pack for $99.99 + Tax $108.59 Total There was a $20.00 gift card available for $100.00 purchase when I asked for the gift card I was told I did not spend the requisite $100 I objected saying I had actually spent $108. I was told it only counted on HP merchandise and I was 1 penny short I was told I could buy more HP ink if i wanted the card. I offered to give them the 1 penny told that would not work I ask for the manager when he came he said is was SOL and had to "take it or leave it" I asked him what happened to "Good Old Customer Service" no comment from the manager. I choose to leave it and left the store without the ink I needed. The other customers in line clapped when i left. I came home and ordered it on Amazon for $92 including 2nd day shipping. I will get it on Wednesday delivered to my door instead of Monday after I drove 20 minutes to Office Max. Sorry Office Max I hopefully will never have to go in any of your stores again read more

I just enjoyed a remarkable experience at this store that I would like to share with anyone contemplating a purchase of computer oriented merchandise. My wife and I visited the store with the objective of purchasing an 15.6 " HP laptop computer on a "Memorial Day Sale" . Requesting assistance from one of the floor salespersons, we were told that there were 3 of these computers "locked up behind that door". After suggesting that we might want to purchase one, we were told that "I'll have to speak with my manager". The manager appeared, restating that he could not show us the computer, since it wasn't on display, but that we could go to another store since some stores might have models on display. He suggested that we might try a store about approximately 10 miles from this location. We asked, "well, could you call them to save us the possibility of a "wild goose chase". He said sure. We waited for awhile, but he never returned. As we were leaving the clerks at the register asked if they could help, but we declined the offer.
