I posted a review of product and Office Depot on the their site but they took it down siting it broke review policy. I didn't curse or lie about my experience just told truth so not sure what policy of Office Depot review section I broke? Also to date haven't gotten one single call from Office Depot even though I'm composing big time. Here is my story. I ordered a shelf from Office Depot for delivery. The item was five days late. I have delivery on camera throwing my item into front porch. When I asked for a replacement the lady at customer service said okay give us few days and will call you to do a swap. I didn't get a call got an email saying they were coming to pick it up and refund my money. I called and told them I didn't want a refund I wanted a replacement and the lady told me few days earlier no problem. The new lady in the phone said they can't swap it they have to just pick it up and refund money. The pick up driver didn't show for two more days past when supposed to and they finally picked it up. Then they I get knock on door and another driver asking where my item was to pick it up. I told him someone had picked it up already. They can't even get that right. So now I don't have an item I needed that I ordered over a month ago and their return policy says it's up to ten days to get the money back on my credit card. No product and they still have my money and never even an I'm sorry from any people on the phone or anyone from Office Depot. I spend about five thousand or so a year at Office Depot. Not a penny more will I spend with them from now on. Staples has almost exactly the same items for sale. If you value your time and money might I suggest you heed my warning about my experience with Office Depot. read more

Great store, great staff, very clean. I was in and out in 10 min. Especially the manager with the ponytail, he was cool and helpful.

I went in on Monday the 18th to print some PowerPoint notes for my class. The employee Jackie was nice enough to let me use their computer to log in to my student account to upload them before sending them via email. I had difficulties logging in and it took awhile to gain access. Jackie was very patient and nice. She told me to not worry about it and take my time. She was determined to help me try downloading the PowerPoints as we had difficulty saving them as a doc not pdf. After about 30 mins or so of me being there, she was able to print all my notes exactly how I wanted. Jackie showed great customer service and even made me laugh at my bad luck. This is not the first time I've had a good experience in the print department, staff is helpful :) read more

WORST customer service ever!!!!! My fiancé bought me a laptop that ended up being bigger than I wanted so we exchanged it for a smaller one. When we get the new laptop home and opened it, we noticed the bottom of it is popping in and out. We go back to Office Depot asking to exchange the laptop and we got NOTHING but ATTITUDE! I asked if we can check the new laptop that we were exchanging the damaged one for in order to make sure it doesn't have the same issue and I was told no. I asked if we can then again return the laptop IF it has the same issue with the bottom and was also told no because it would then be the 3rd laptop we returned. On the receipt it says you have 14 days to return stuff from the technology department with a receipt and the item in the original packaging. It says nothing about how many items you are allowed to return. Despite all of that I probably would have come up with a solution between myself and the supervisor, but he was just RUDE. The entire time we were speaking to him he had a smirk on his face and was pretty much laughing. He could care less about providing good customer service to someone who was spending a good amount of money in his store. Regardless to say, we just returned the laptop and we will take our business somewhere else. Hopefully this location will learn to hire professional supervisors moving forward. If not I do not see them staying open much longer. Save your time and money for somewhere else!!!! read more

I was buying a laptop and OD had the best price. After searching around they had it a few OD's including the Whittier location. After visiting a few other OD stores (Norwalk and Los Alamitos), the Whitter store is extremely friendly and knowledgible. I needed to return a laptop that was priced lower a few days later and I took it to the Norwalk store (closer for me). The Norwalk store had no idea how to process my return and told me to go to the Whittier store..WTH? I purchased them online but for some reason the Norwalk store had no idea how to use their register to find my purchase. The drive from Norwalk to Whittier is about as pleasant as getting to Brea..out of the way for everyone..but I had to do it. When I got to the Whittier store I brought my items to return. Perhaps online orders don't mesh with returning them to the store (ATTENTION Office Depot), but it took the sales clerk sometime, but he was patient. He found my order and gladly processed my returns. They were so nice and more important..efficient. Looks like my online return was "new" for their system and it was a learning event for them too..but they didn't give up. The Whittier OD is a paradigm for all other OD's and other office supply stores to follow. read more

Most annoying shopping experience ever. This store has a piercing chime that rings every 30 seconds loudly throughout the store. In addition their music blares, perhaps to cover up the alarm chime? Either way, it's extremely irritating and I will avoid coming here again. The employees are helpful at least. But I feel sorry for them having to work here with that incessant alarm. read more

After spending nearly an Hour at Best Buys - Fullerton, trying to buy a Windows Tablet, and leaving with one of the worst experiences regarding service and product knowledge ignorance, I stopped at this Office Depot (which one of the Best Buy Employees said didn't carry windows tablets) and was very happy I ran into Adolfo Mora, who knew everything about Tablets and helped me purchase one. I came in to purchase a new office chair. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two people and asked how they could help me. The gentleman in furniture sales was very helpful and I was in an out with 15 minutes. He let me know the chair was going on sale tomorrow and honored the price. To be honest with you i have been here many times in the past years and have never had a bad experience. I have dealt with daniela in the past and has allways done a great job. I have been there several times and have seen many rude and impatient customers. Ive seen people use fowl language and get out of hand cause they dont get what they want. Some people think they are entitled to things in life. Some people have no life and think there are crtitics and want to post reviews about everything they do in life. Get a life and stop hating on people. I work retail also and know what its like to deal with these type of people. I have also dealt with Albert on some occasions and have never had any issues. People need to stop hating and get a life. Stop being pathetic and lame. If you dont like the service dont go back. Move on. The operations manager, Danielle must've been having s bad morning. I went to print out a bunch of transcripts. I was stressed to meet a deadline for a grad school application. She sees me on the computer in the printing service area and right away starts giving me an attitude asking me "can I help you" in a very rude and non Custom service like tone. You don't have to treat like royalty...I'm just printing. She must've thought I was just using the computer for personal use or ...I really don't know what but she kept on checking in saying we're going to have to charge you a dollar for every minute you're on here. My guess is that just the way she is since I was able to see her "cracking the whip" skills on the People under her. An elderly man walked up to pay for a fax as I was doing my thing and I felt bad for the guy. She answered him roughly and so not catering to what he needed. I didn't even finish what I came to do. Couldn't stand her vibe. Way below the bar on customer service. Definitely was the last place I thought I get service like that and definitely the last thing I'd expect coming into this location. Honestly felt like a suspect or someone that was doing something I wasn't supposed to. And come to find out there's at least two other negative reviews the print center. One one about a manager and the other was just about the printing center in general. Something has to change there. I for sure will never come back here. read more

Just moved into this area from Orange County and this store wouldn't price match to the Irvine location because of what the store manager stated as "poor business management" on the other store. I NEVER write reviews for ANYONE or any store, but I felt that I needed to this time. I am printing invites for my baby shower on a pearl/metallic cardstock and I first went to Fedex/Kinkos to print. Before I could even finish my sentence with their employee, he said they couldn't print on this type of paper and when I asked if he could try he straight out said no. Then I was off to Office Depot, where I should have gone first! When my mom and I approached the copy/print department, we were welcomed by Alic. We explained to him what we were trying to do and asked if they would be able to print on this special type of paper. I wanted them to do 2 5x7 on 1 81/2x11 sheet. He tried several times to try to get 2 invites on 1 sheet and it wasn't working (they just got brand new printers/copiers and their entire windows system was updated...so he wasn't took familiar with it..totally understandable). He then got another employee, Wyatt, involved and they were both trying to figure out how to print 2 invites on 1 paper. The manager (I didn't get his name) then came over and helped as well. With 3 minds, they were able to get 2 on 1 ON the paper that I had. I was so happy to know that they were so helpful and made sure that my request was fulfilled. Now, this was only a sample paper because I wanted to make sure the invite would print...so now that I know it is able to be done, I will be taking my service to Office Depot to print all of my invitations. Actually this is about the staff first and the store second. Office Depot is a fine brand name store and they carry nearly everything my little business needs but that's not what keeps me as a loyal customer, it's the staff. I won't embarrass myself or them by naming names, I would get half of them wrong so let's say it this way. The manager is a gem; she always smiles and makes sure I find what I need in a minimum amount of time - she knows how to provide good service. And it doesn't stop with her either, the computer guys and the ladies in the copies and shipping section provide the smiles and follow-through that makes customers productive. In this geographic area we have lots of choices still, but for us, we will continue to come back to the Whittier Office Depot first and nearly always only - they take care of us and treat us great. read more

I walked in clueless as to how I was going to play music in my car without draining my phone's battery. Albert was passing by and didn't hesitate to ask if I needed anything. Within 5 mins of talking to him, I had a better solution than I even knew was possible... I saved money and I have a simple solution to what I thought was a complicated problem. I'm taking the time to write this review because Albert clearly knows his stuff, knows his store, knows more than a thing or two about electronics, and was genuinely happy to solve my problem. This store is ridiculously good the people at the print department are amazing I've never had to write a review but this office depot just blew me out of the water ...this is your one stop shop for all ....the staff is very knowledgeable and they just go out of their way to make sure your project gets completed ....wether it be a fax email printing whatever the case they make it happen I don't care what people say negatively about this place because I know that every single experience has been positive here Don't believe me just try it out for yourself ....I work for the government and have had time sensitive projects they complete and come though very professional and they even give government officials some love Weather it be firefighters police officers detectives there just great try them ....and Victoria is perrty my awesome Ver helpful :) read more

I came for a printing service today and the printers were not working! How is this possible in a printing place??? Priscilla was not in the best attitude, slow and not very efficient, printed 20 documents, then told me she couldn't print the rest, and put them in an envelope without a label or anything and when I went to the cashier (really nice and sweet senior lady) of course she had to count each paper and see what service I required. read more
