Hubby and I went here on a Sunday looking for filing cabinets and possibly a top to build a custom-ish desk for a home office. If you're looking for prices cheaper than Staples or Office max you won't find it here. What you will find is office quality rather than home quality furniture. Don't expect it to look like an Ikea showroom. There was a ton of furniture available but the place definitely had more of the warehouse vibe. Because selection is determined by what they have on hand you have to go prepared to browse a bit and be flexible. However, we got a great deal on 2 identical filing cabinets that were about the same price but are more solid than what we could have gotten at Staples. They were ready to make a deal on a desk top too, but we took care of that by buying a slab door at Home Depot ($26). This seemed like a place that caters more to small businesses, but they were friendly and super helpful to us. The lady who was there when we walked in walked around the room with us and helped us measure and look at furniture. When I called back later to ask about something I got a return phone call within an hour (without even leaving a message). When we sent requested pictures of older office stuff asking about a trade in, we got a phone call back within 2 hours with a response. The gentleman working there helped hubby load up the filing cabinets and get them in the car while the lady and I handled the payment. They did say they deliver furniture but it is $100 so unless you're buying a lot you might be better off bribing a buddy who owns a pickup. Overall shopping here was a great experience. read more

I went in yesterday looking to acquire items for my home art studio and walked around the warehouse with two very nice female workers. They had an old metal typewriter stand that one of the women offered to sell to me for $20 which I agreed to purchase. However, when we took the stand to the front lobby for payment the owner came in and stated he wanted $75 for the stand not $20 because it was "vintage" and part of a set. I surmise that he noticed my BMW parked in front of his building, the expensive jewelry I was wearing, and decided he could try to swindle more money out of me. Needless to say, I declined the purchase and went elsewhere. Buyer beware when dealing with this company, the owner is not to be trusted. The employees are very nice, and I feel sorry for them having to work for such an unscrupulous employer. If an employer is so overt in trying to screw over customers, I can only imagine how badly his employees are treated. read more

November 12, 2013 Office Furniture Now seems a bit frantic and short handed. Ordered a credenza from them. Woman who took my order promised me a wood veneer credenza at a really great price; turned out she was mistaken. I would have to pay quite a bit more which I agreed to. Credenza was being built locally in Arizona. The credenza arrived with factory production issues which needed repair and a gouge in the side of the credenza which could not be repaired. Seems that the factory quality control was not would it should be. Office furniture now tried to make the repairs as best they could, so I appreciated that. I don't think I would want to repeat this experience. read more

I purchased some used cubicles on Craig's List and scheduled a mover. I went to confirm with my mover of the day and time and the place we were to meet to break down these cubicles. He texted me back "Sorry, We are already booked and can't do it" WHAT?!? Frantically, I began the search for another moving company on Friday at 1 o'clock. I asked for an online bid from Office Furniture Now and another company. Both companies got back to me right away, but Joanie from Office Furniture Now (OFN), and Mike went above and beyond to be accommodating to my emergency situation. Joanie arranged all the details and Mike even checked in during the job to make sure everything was going smoothly. OFN's installer had a vast knowledge of code requirements. Even though we had drawn up our own design to reconfigure the panels, he made tweaks here and there to make it better. The team at office furniture now assisted me in setting up my entire 10 office Building complete with U shape desks, Credenzas, Hutches, Filing Cabinets, some room wrapping cubicle and surfaces, chairs, and some office decor. We shopped in the warehouse for a good couple of hours and i found exactly what i was looking for at a very reasonable price which we negotiated. The desks and office furniture is in very good condition and some top of the line chairs. Office furniture now has a complete touch-up and restoration department where they touched up a couple of the desks for me and painted the filing cabinets to match my rooms. I enjoyed the experience i had at office furniture now I am glad we didnt go anywhere else as I know how expensive office furniture can be. Thanks to the internet i was able to do some research online about the best office furniture store in phoenix and found that Office furniture now absolutely is the Best, and they are a locally owned family business and I like that.
