The reason I'm docking a star was because when I used this place to print my business cards, the card stock was not as strong and thick as I would have liked, but still way better then places (and cheaper) then places like Kinko's. Also, when I was having my business cards printed here, I accidentally forgot to feature my email address and although that's not their responsibility, it would have been a nice touch to have them look it over and say..."hey, maybe you wanted an email or phone # printed on here?" Anyway, most recently I used them to print out 4x6" post cards for an upcoming event and after calling them in the morning and getting them the print-ready files by 1PM, I was able to pick up 100 cards at $45. Double sided color, great stock and at 45 cents aipece, I was happy. The person on the other end of the phone was nice, responsible and seemed to know what she was talking about (I believe Michelle was her name, thanks Michelle!). The location downtown is conveniently located to many businesses as well. I'll be happy to give them more of my business down the line, but I still prefer to get my business cards printed online simply because I've found better card stock there. If you do start printing your cards in thicker quality, please let me know so that I can change my buying habits :)!

He responded the same day I initially sent an email (other shops didn't respond at all) and during a visit to the shop, was very helpful in helping us select the right paper and envelope, etc. The cards came out perfect and the staff was thoughtful enough to match the font on the envelope to that of the card, without me specifying. If I had any other printing needs, I would definitely use them again. The customer service is awesome as is the product.

Barrett and his team are a joy to work with and were able to digitize my difficult artworks that include gold leaf paint and colour correct accurately for the glare. My original works are 5x7s and the 8x10s look great and the proofs of 11x14s as well. I was given some extra goodies as sample proofs. I also had note card sets made and amazing stickers with a foam core display. Barrett also customized the backs of my cards with a variation on my sticker designs that is super cool and took the time to brand my stickers with my business name. Buffalo Big Print will take the time to get it right and treat your art with respect. I'd recommend them to any artist looking for high quality ink jet prints of their artworks. Typewriters. Yep, they still exist. And people still use them. Some anyway. One of those…read morepeople is in my family. And the typewriters get used a lot. Daily. Often for a few hours. I've been known to scour eBay looking for ribbons. And then one broke. The backup was immediately put in its place. And then that stopped working too. And then the search started for a repairman. The place one had been repaired in the past was long gone. So we called a bunch of places. No luck. We stopped by one. Didn't look open. And then we got a call. Someone used their caller id and saw we called. And called us back. And said they could take a look at the machine and let us know what they thought. So off to Myron street we went. A street off Kenmore. We dropped off the machines and a few days later got a call back. One was fixed and the other would take a little longer. Fine. We picked up the one. The other came a week or so later. The price was reasonable, at least for something that requires real specialized knowledge. These types of skills are disappearing with the actual typewriters. So if you ever need a typewriter repairman, I'd try here first. But call ahead, he's not open all the time, this isn't a store, it's a repair shop. So call ahead and find a time that works for you both.
