Before going in, I called ahead to check if they had kiddie pools in stock. The employee on the phone was great--she took the time to physically check and confirmed they had several available, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, I worked with the Assistant Manager, Vanessa. She was polite and walked me outside to where the pools were stored. Unfortunately, this is where things started to fall apart. The pools were stacked haphazardly in the back corner of the lot, completely uncovered and sitting in direct Colorado sun. As a result, every single pool I saw was warped, dented, and misshapen from heat exposure. Vanessa had to climb over pallets to reach them and pulled one out from underneath a stack. The plastic was visibly bent in multiple places. I asked if there was any possibility of a discount due to the condition, and she quickly said, "we don't do that." When I pointed out the warping and explained my concern, she said discounts are only given if there are holes--but also admitted she couldn't guarantee there weren't any holes because of the condition of the pools. That was frustrating. It felt like there was no real effort to acknowledge the issue or offer any kind of reasonable solution, even though the product clearly wasn't in good shape. I ended up buying the pool because I needed it, but I left feeling taken advantage of. While the employees were kind, the way the products were stored and the lack of flexibility in handling an obvious quality issue didn't sit right with me. Personally, I wouldn't return. I'd recommend driving a little further to Murdoch's, where you can find similar items and (in my experience) better product quality and overall value. Update: After leaving this review, I was contacted by the general manager, who took the situation seriously and issued a full refund while allowing me to keep the item. I really appreciate the follow-through and effort to make it right. This response felt much more in line with the customer service I expect from Ace.

I went home did some research and remembered that I got my first stamp at Ace-Kauffman Stamp and Seal Co a few years back. I called them on Friday afternoon and with my request and a small fee, Ace Kauffman had my stamp ready by 9:00 a.m. Monday morning as promised. The best part is, it was only $10 more than what Office Max had quoted me for a stamp which, as I mentioned, I wouldn't receive for 10 days. Even better, I supported a local biz and that always feels so good. Although it's "just a stamp" I am so pleased with it and will always return here for my notary needs.

I found some pretty sweet deals on their website, so when I went into the store, I grabbed those books thinking they were on sale. When they rang up, they looked like they were full price. I asked for the cashier to honor the pricing online. While the cashier was more than willing to price match the website, I wish I didn't have to ask for it to happen. The employee who helped me that evening was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, friendly, patient, and took the time to help me set up my new phone. Before I left, he even told me that if I needed any more help, I could come back the next day. That level of customer service was truly appreciated. So I returned on July 22, 2026. The employee who had helped me the day before was busy assisting another customer, so a different employee--a taller man with a beard--came to help me instead. Unfortunately, the experience couldn't have been more different. From the beginning, he seemed like he didn't want to help. He wasn't welcoming or friendly, gave very short answers, and repeatedly looked at his watch while I was trying to explain my issue, even though it was only around 3:00 p.m. and nowhere near closing time. His attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point that I didn't even want to ask any more questions. Most disappointing of all, he didn't solve my problem or offer any alternative solutions. I left feeling frustrated and unsupported, and he could clearly tell I was upset. I want to be clear that this review is not about the entire staff. The employee who helped me on July 21 was outstanding and represents the kind of customer service customers hope to receive. Unfortunately, the employee with the beard gave the exact opposite experience. He came across as uninterested, unhelpful, and unwilling to put in the effort to assist a customer. While we weren't able to do anything that day due to the power being out, we specifically came back when we knew Nick was working because he left that great of an impression. On the day we did come back, Nick was absolutely amazing. We found out he was actually new and I was completely shocked because of how well-versed and educated he was on everything!
