I went in to have my brand new computer factory reset because it was hacked I worked with Faras, it cost me $50 to factory reset then they talked me into buying a(Nord VPN) WHICH WAS $70 AND $50 TO INSTALL and would be cleaned out of hackers, like new again only I would be protected this time with the Nord VPN, I go to pick computer up I take it home and this Dingbat Faras whom was to make sure NOBODY was any longer in my computer literally configured my VPN to the hackers name and I could not use it, I just paid nearly what the computer cost brand new to have the hackers taken out, so I take it back, I went back with a huge problem that he did not fix & he configured my $120 VPN to the hackers name He refuses to give me my money back for his mistakes an tells me that " he suggests I buy a new Computer" ARE YOU KIDDING ME! read more

i stopped into this location to see if I could find a mini binder and some pages and dividers to go with it. After wondering around for a little while and not finding them, an employee asked us if he could help us find anything. The prices are a little higher than on Amazon obviously, but I just couldn't make up my mind if that was the solution I needed for a work project. So my trip was mostly to see the items in person and review the size after seeing mixed reviews for different options online. I won't be back to this location as this is on the east side and I'm more west, but we do have an Office Max closer to us that I might check out once I figure out what I need. read more

I've never been a fan of Office Max since their prices are much higher than Office Depot but ever since I moved to this side of town the only Office Depot near me is almost 18 miles round trip. Unfortunately I needed some clear hanging file tabs so I sucked it up and went to Office Max because they were closer. After no employees greeted me or offered assistance I finally found the hanging file tabs and they were out of clear ones, they only had bright blue or yellow and since I'm a nerd when it comes to office supplies this simply would not do. My next move was to go to Office Depot but before I could leave empty handed I was stopped by an employee who finally asked if I needed help finding anything. This is the third time this has happened to me at this location, either they don't have what I want or it's so over priced I get it elsewhere, but they only ask about what I need when they see I'm not buying anything. i find this hightly irritating because even if they can get what I need, I need it TODAY, not whenever their next shipment comes in. This was my third, and last, trip to this location. Possibly any Office Max if I can help it. I ended up making the almost 18 mile round trip to Office Depot where they had what I needed and asked me before I found it if I needed assistance. Not after the fact. read more

I visited this store on 3/16/2019 about 1 PM. I was the only person in the store. 3 employees were gathered around the front counter talking when I entered the store. I looked around at the Keyboards not having any luck in seeing what I wanted. I waited for someone to come ask me if I needed help but that never happened. I was in the store about 15 minutes. I became irritated and started to leave the store. The same 3 employees were still standing at the front talking. One of them asked did you find everything ok as I was walking out. You would think the store employees would be on top of a customer especially with being the only one in the store. I left without getting any help. I went home and ordered in from Amazon online. It was a bit cheaper then what Best Buy had. These stores wonder why they are dropping like flies. read more

Absolutely amazing service. The manager, John, was outstanding. We bought two office chairs thinking we could only fit two in our vehicle. We went back in to see about a third and they wheeled it out to our vehicle, like the first two, helped us unbox it to fit in the car. Went to OM for school supplies for a 10th grader. She is exceedingly choosy, so I wasn't looking forward to it. The staff was very, very friendly and accommodating on the floor, and we were asked multiple times if we needed anything. It was sooooooooo much better than my experience just two days ago at the office Depot at hall and schoenherr. The cashiers there are beyond rude, and not one person helped us. read more

I purchased a printer from this store as I've done several times in the past 12 years. No issues in past. I talked to Nathen today, which did not want to give his name when he came on phone - I had to ask him if he's a manager and what his name was. Thought that the practice was introduce yourself at least with the name - not in this case at all. First bad impression. He was rude and just wanted to pass the buck to someone else when it comes to warranty replacement of equipment - he says he'll get me the phone number so I can get a check sent to me - yet, that's not helping me when my business needs a printer now not 10-20 days from now whenever the square trade decides to reimburse me for the printer. I guess it's time for me to look to take my business elsewhere after 2 decades of dealing with OfficeMax and Office Depot. Staples was originally my 2nd choice, but not any longer. I would rather deal with people who care about customers than sarcastic people who don't care! read more
