In June of 2023, I purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento from Cochran Chevy with a 6 month, 6,000 mile…read morepowertrain warranty. About 2 weeks after I bought it, the car would intermittently make a loud sound and begin bucking when down shifting. I called Cochran and brought it in to be looked at. The mechanic kept the car for the entire weekend, and eventually replicated and experienced the bucking. He identified the problem was the transmission. We asked to have it repaired under the warranty, but the mechanic told us "because it's intermittent, good luck proving it to the warranty company". We began to argue with the sales manager that we didn't want the car anymore since they weren't going to fix it. After some back and forth, the sales manager agreed to return the car, but we had to purchase another vehicle. We bought a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe for an extra 4k on top of the Sorento's return price in July of 2023. Over the next year, we took the Santa Fe to Cochran Ford in Butler for oil changes, and it was inspected by this location in June of 2024. On July 3, 2024, the engine shot a rod and the engine was damaged. We found pieces of the rod/engine on the road and in the engine bay. After getting quotes upwards of 20k to replace the engine, we contacted Cochran to see if they would work with us on possibly trying to trade this in - being that they sold it to us 12 months ago and I only put 8k miles on it. The car, in total, has 97k miles. The salesman told us he'd check with his manager, and never called us back. We've called multiple times and left messages, and no one will call us back. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TRUST CARS FROM COCHRAN. They do NOT stand by their warranty, they do NOT stand by their cars, and they do NOT stand by their customers. On the flip side, Diehl Automotive in Butler talked with us multiple times on the phone, and offered us trade in on the broken Santa Fe, when they owed us nothing. Please take your business to Diehl Automotive or at the very least, STAY AWAY FROM COCHRAN.

From the moment we walked in, he made us feel comfortable, informed, and never pressured. Garrett truly listens--he took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, walked us through all of our options, and patiently answered every question we had (and we had a lot!). What really stood out was his honesty and transparency. He broke down every detail clearly and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. We never once felt rushed or upsold. Garrett genuinely cared that we drove off with the right car--not just any car--and it showed. If you're shopping for a vehicle and want someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely enjoyable to work with, ask for Garrett. He turned what can be a stressful experience into something we actually enjoyed. Thank you!

They added on all kinds of extra charges, and did not tell me, rushed me through the process and when finished, my car payments were much higher than what they should have been. I managed to go through all the protocol to get my money back from them, but they gave it back. If you purchase, watch those extra fees! Secondly, my 2023 Trailblazer had to be towed to the closest chevy dealership to me (or it would cost me extra to have towed more than 25 miles) - we are on the second day, not looked at yet, and they won't give me a loaner until they look at the car. I understand they can be busy, but I need to be at work and no one will help me with a loaner. Not the chevy dealership I purchased from because I had it towed to the closest dealership, and not the chevy dealership its at now. If you need service or help with your vehicle, don't expect to get it. They promise you the world and give you nothing in return. A two year old car and now the transmission may not be any good. The car isn't used excessivly, as I work from home but two days a week and only use it locally. Unbelievable.

He was down to earth and not pressuring at all - totally understood what we were looking for and was extremely friendly. We left and test drove a few other brands of cars and ultimately returned to Diehl when we knew we wanted the Tiguan. After some reasonable back and forth on trade in price for my existing car, Josh and another gentleman, Corey, helped us get down to a number that we were happy with paying for a monthly payment. I seriously cannot express how much fun we had in this experience. We had great conversation with these individuals while also getting exactly what we wanted in a car and trade in value. Couldn't speak more highly of this group of people. Go to Diehl!

I went in this past October to buy my wife a new Atlas, told them what I wanted and they gave me an outrages price and tried to up sell me to a 26 instead of the 25 my wife wanted. It's pretty sad when I can spend $370 for a one way flight to Baltimore and purchase the vehicle and save 10k with incentives and lower interest rate and drive it home the same day knowing that the Dealer 8 miles from my house could've had my business but wanted to screw me rawdog style. These ballbagS lost my business forever. The salesmen to the service department is a joke, the parts guy is pretty good, and nice building (But that's like putting lipstick on a pig..) everything else is a $hit show. And it's always nice when the service joke Hillary talks down to you like you're a dumb a$$. Probably takes her 2 hours to paint that face on every morning after the walk of shame, save yourself some aggravation and go to Wexford VW. Because you'll get screwed at Dehl. No deal Dehl...

They didn't ask me for more than the sticker price, which was more than understandable given the global increase of prices following the pandemic as well as the work that the owner had put into it himself. I had brought a close friend of mine who had previously worked with cars to help steer me right, but he also did a good job of speaking plainly and coming off as human. Car salespeople, especially in used cars, get a reputation as being oily people but the owner was straight to the point and transparent. He lent us the time, space, and manpower to look over the body, underside, and internal workings. Speaking of other car dealers, the vehicle I ended up driving away in was one of the nicest used cars in the area, especially considering its price. It's been a good few months since I had purchased the vehicle and it has felt good and held up well. If you are looking buy a car in the north western Pennsylvania area in a good condition for a good price, I would recommend Wallace Family Motors. I drove an hour and a half and it was well worth the journey.

I appreciated the staff (Jeff Hartzell & Geno Malloy) and the overall experience--until I realized within just a few hours that the A/C in my vehicle wasn't working. I called as soon as they opened the next day. That issue was never mentioned during the sale. I understand the vehicle was sold as-is, but basic functionality like air conditioning should have been disclosed. When I reached out immediately, there was no real effort to make things right--just a suggestion to bring it back in, with no commitment to covering any cost. That changed the experience for me and left us feeling deceived. Additional discoveries when I got home: 1 dead key fob, fluids low/not topped off. Coolant was nearly empty (but not the fix for the a/c) and windshield washer fluid empty. It's the little things that elevate a sales experience and worth recommending to others. I still appreciated the no-pressure approach during the sale, but I'd recommend that anyone buying used here double-check every detail and ask clearly about key systems before finalizing anything.
